Galil AR | Connexion

Galil AR | Connexion is a CS2 rifle skin with a pale gray-white and red finish accented by Phoenix faction graphics. Dark gray components balance the spray-painted receiver and stock. The look suits players building a red-and-white loadout with a deliberately busy design. It comes in Factory New through Battle-Scarred, with StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions also available.

Description

Galil AR | Connexion gives the Terrorist-side rifle a graphic-heavy appearance in CS2. The underlying weapon is a lower-cost assault rifle option suited to engagements at medium to long range. Its Gunsmith finish combines pale surfaces, red panels, and dark gray components rather than using a uniform color across the weapon. Phoenix faction logos form the main visual motif, accompanied by loose spray-painted shapes. This makes the finish a suitable choice for players who prefer marked-up surfaces over a plain rifle design. The darker magazine and grip provide quieter areas beneath the more detailed receiver and handguard. Buyers can choose a standard copy or consider the available StatTrak and Souvenir versions. Individual listings are worth comparing by exterior, exact float value, and version rather than by the finish name alone.

History and Origin

Galil AR | Connexion entered CS:GO on August 6, 2020. It arrived with the Fracture Case in the Fracture Case Skins update. Steam Workshop community designer VLEK created the skin. It belongs to The Fracture Collection, which also determines its collection-specific trade-up route. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, and the Fracture Case no longer drops as of October 9, 2026. Existing cases can still be purchased on the market and opened, so retirement did not remove the case-opening route. Today, buyers can also obtain the skin through marketplace purchases, player trades, or a qualifying trade-up contract that produces it.

Finish Style

Connexion uses a Gunsmith finish with a pale gray-white, red, and dark gray palette. The receiver and stock carry the light base, broken up by red panels and markings. Red Phoenix faction logos and loosely sprayed shapes cover portions of both areas, giving the artwork an irregular painted character. The ribbed handguard alternates red and pale sections, extending the color scheme toward the front of the rifle. A red-orange muzzle and front sight contrast with the dark gray exposed barrel. The curved magazine and pistol grip remain mostly dark gray, with lighter highlights following their edges and ridges. Small dark lettering adds another detail to the stock without becoming the main graphic. Overall, the busy receiver and handguard contrast with the plainer lower components, concentrating visual detail along the rifle's body.

Float Value

Galil AR | Connexion has a float value range of 0.00 to 0.80. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, so none of those exterior categories is excluded. StatTrak and Souvenir versions are also available, but version choice remains separate from a copy's exterior condition and exact float.

Rarity and Popularity

Galil AR | Connexion has the Restricted rarity grade within The Fracture Collection. Its stated chance from a Fracture Case opening is 3.2%, or about 1 in 31 drops. Professional players dupreeh, tarik, and karrigan have owned the skin, giving it a documented professional connection without establishing broader market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Red Phoenix graphics give the receiver and stock a distinct identity

• Pale and red sections suit coordinated rifle loadouts

• Dark magazine and grip balance the busier painted areas

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions offer additional collecting choices

Price Range

The live Galil AR | Connexion price range is $0.30 to $45.00. These bounds cover the whole skin rather than any named exterior or version. Its accessible price level makes it an option for buyers seeking a red-and-white rifle finish. Exterior, exact float, and standard, StatTrak, or Souvenir status help distinguish individual purchase options. Compare those details alongside the current listing price when deciding whether to buy, sell, or trade a copy.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Fracture Case

Opening a Fracture Case can produce Galil AR | Connexion, with a stated chance of 3.2%. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened. The result is random, so opening a case does not ensure this particular skin.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A trade-up contract using 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The Fracture Collection produces 1 Restricted skin from that collection. Galil AR | Connexion is a possible result. The outcome is random among the collection's Restricted skins, so buyers should not treat the contract as a direct purchase.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The Steam Community Market provides a direct buying route for Galil AR | Connexion without a random case-opening result. Check the listed exterior and version, then compare the copy's float where available before choosing an offer.

5. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trading offers another way to obtain Galil AR | Connexion by exchanging items with another owner. Confirm the skin's exterior, float, and version before accepting, especially when comparing a standard copy with a StatTrak or Souvenir listing.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Case retirement limits new case supply, but existing openings and trade-up contracts can still add Connexion skins. Professional ownership does not establish sustained resale demand, and listing depth and price trends remain uncertain. Before buying, selling, or trading, compare exterior, float, and version rather than treating retired case status as sufficient investment evidence.

Reasons it Holds Value

• No new Fracture Case drops

• Owned by dupreeh, tarik, and karrigan

• Distinctive Phoenix graphics and red-and-white styling

• StatTrak and Souvenir collecting options

The editorial investment rating is medium, balancing retired case supply, professional ownership, and an accessible price level. Existing cases and trade-ups can still add skins, while sustained demand remains uncertain. Those limits make it more suitable for cautious collecting than a purchase based on expected returns.
