Short Description

Five-SeveN | Scrawl is a CS2 pistol skin with hand-painted artwork over a yellow and teal base. Black drawings and red-orange accents give it a busy, layered appearance. The finish suits players who prefer expressive artwork over restrained colors. All exterior grades are available, alongside StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

Five-SeveN | Scrawl brings a densely illustrated finish to the Counter-Terrorist Five-SeveN pistol in CS2. The weapon combines accuracy against armored opponents with forgiving recoil, although its reload is slow. Its 20-round magazine provides capacity to complement those handling characteristics. The Scrawl finish replaces a restrained appearance with yellow, teal, dark gray, and overlapping painted marks. Faces, an eye motif, and letter-like shapes make the artwork feel deliberately irregular rather than neatly repeated. This look suits colorful loadouts and players who want visible detail across the slide, frame, and grip. Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir versions give collectors different options beyond the appearance alone. Buyers can compare exterior, exact float value, and version when choosing a copy rather than relying only on the finish name.

History and Origin

Five-SeveN | Scrawl was released on January 20, 2022, in the Dreams & Nightmares Case Skins update. It debuted as a reward available from the Dreams & Nightmares Case. Anbu, a Steam Workshop community designer, created the finish. The skin belongs to The Dreams & Nightmares Collection, connecting its collection identity with its original case. As of October 9, 2026, that case was in the Weekly Care Package drop pool, allowing new copies to enter the market. Opening the case remains an acquisition route, but the result is random rather than a selected Scrawl copy. The Steam Community Market offers a direct purchase route for buyers seeking a particular listing. Player-to-player trades provide another way to obtain an existing copy without relying on a case opening.

Finish Style

Scrawl uses the Custom Paint Job finish style, with bold hand-painted designs covering a yellow and teal foundation. The front of the slide is pale teal, while its middle section introduces yellow. Across the frame and grip, teal and yellow mix with dark gray areas. Heavy black scrawls spread across much of the pistol, creating strong contrast against the brighter base. Red-orange outlines and accents appear around the muzzle, rear frame, and grip, adding another layer of color. The larger illustrations include smiling faces, crossed-eye faces, an eye motif, and overlapping marks that resemble lettering. Short stripes, scattered dots, and rough brush strokes occupy the spaces between those larger drawings. Very little base color remains uninterrupted, giving the whole finish a crowded, layered character rather than isolated decorative panels.

Float Value

Five-SeveN | Scrawl has a float value range of 0.00 to 1.00. It is available in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, with no exterior grade excluded. StatTrak and Souvenir versions are also available, and those version labels should be considered separately from the cosmetic condition represented by exterior and float.

Rarity and Popularity

Five-SeveN | Scrawl has the Mil-Spec Grade rarity classification. Its stated chance from the Dreams & Nightmares Case is 11.42%, so opening the correct case does not guarantee this finish. Professional players known to own it include coldzera, FalleN, and Snax, although their ownership alone does not establish trading demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Yellow and teal colors with contrasting black artwork

• Faces and overlapping marks create an expressive hand-painted look

• All exterior grades offer a broad choice of condition

• StatTrak and Souvenir options suit different collecting preferences

Price Range

The live Five-SeveN | Scrawl price range is $0.03 to $35.00. These bounds cover the whole skin rather than fixed prices for named exteriors or versions. Exterior and StatTrak status are useful starting points when comparing individual asking prices. Check the exact float and any Souvenir designation instead of assuming that listings sharing an exterior are equivalent. Buyers can purchase Five-SeveN | Scrawl directly through Eneba Skins.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Dreams & Nightmares Case

Open the Dreams & Nightmares Case for a chance to receive the Scrawl finish. Its stated chance is 11.42%, so this route cannot guarantee the specific skin. Buying a selected copy directly avoids relying on the opening result.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy Five-SeveN | Scrawl on the Steam Community Market when a suitable listing is available. Confirm the exterior and version, then review the specific copy's float where available before making a choice.

4. Trade with Other Players

Trade with other players to obtain an existing Scrawl copy in exchange for an agreed offer. Check the pistol's exterior, float, and whether it is standard, StatTrak, or Souvenir before accepting. Compare the exact item being offered rather than treating every copy as interchangeable.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Continued supply from the weekly-drop case limits the scarcity argument for buying this low-priced skin to resell. Professional ownership provides visibility, but it does not prove strong demand or future price growth. Anyone planning to buy, sell, or trade should compare the available versions and individual floats rather than assume a reliable short-term flip.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Distinctive hand-painted artwork gives it a clear visual identity

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions provide collecting options

• Known professional ownership adds visibility

• Full exterior availability accommodates different collecting preferences

The editorial investment rating is medium-to-poor, reflecting its low price level and ongoing supply from a weekly-drop case. Its artwork and professional ownership support collecting interest, but neither demonstrates sustained price momentum. The main risk is continued availability limiting scarcity while resale demand remains uncertain.
