Five-SeveN | Heat Treated

Five-SeveN | Heat Treated is a CS2 skin for the Counter-Terrorist pistol, featuring a multicolored Case Hardening finish. Its metallic slide combines blue, purple, bronze, and gold above a dark frame and textured grip. The contrast suits players who prefer colorful metal without an all-over graphic design. It comes in every exterior, with standard and Souvenir versions available.

Description

Five-SeveN | Heat Treated gives the Counter-Terrorist pistol a mottled metallic appearance in CS2. Its Case Hardening finish concentrates the colorful treatment on the slide, leaving the lower frame largely dark and plain. Deep blue and purple patches sit beside warmer bronze and gold areas, creating an irregular rather than uniform color layout. The weapon itself combines accuracy and armor penetration with a generous 20-round magazine. Its slower reload is balanced by forgiving recoil, while the skin changes its appearance rather than those weapon characteristics. The finish suits loadouts that use dark equipment with a colorful accent instead of a fully painted weapon. WorldEdit, n0thing, and frozen own the skin, giving it a supported connection to professional players without establishing wider market demand. Buyers can compare exterior, exact float, standard or Souvenir status, and asking price to choose a copy that fits their preferences.

History and Origin

Five-SeveN | Heat Treated entered CS2 on October 2, 2024, alongside The Sport & Field Collection. That release was part of the Armory update, establishing its origin as a collection skin. Valve created the finish, rather than a community designer. Its Heat Treated name reflects the charcoal-and-heat coloring method behind the Case Hardening treatment. Collection membership remains relevant today because eligible Mil-Spec Grade inputs can produce this Restricted pistol through a trade-up contract. That route gives a random result among the collection's Restricted skins, rather than guaranteeing this particular finish. Existing copies can also be bought on the Steam Community Market or obtained through trades with other players.

Finish Style

The Heat Treated finish uses Case Hardening, with wood charcoal and high temperatures producing the colored-metal effect. The slide mixes deep blue and purple with bronze and gold, keeping the decorative treatment focused on the pistol's upper section. Broad, cloudy patches extend along the slide's sides rather than forming a regular stripe or repeated geometric motif. Brighter gold accents appear around the muzzle and rear serrations, adding contrast at both ends of the slide. A metallic sheen ties these colors together without turning the surface into a flat, uniform shade. The lower frame, trigger guard, and grip remain dark gray to black, providing a restrained base beneath the mottled slide. Lighter gray highlights distinguish the small controls from the darker surrounding frame. The grip's fine raised grid adds visible texture, while the mostly plain lower half keeps attention on the slide's irregular coloring.

Float Value

Five-SeveN | Heat Treated has a float value range of 0.00 to 1.00. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, so none of the standard exterior categories is missing. Standard and Souvenir versions are available, but there is no StatTrak™ version; version availability is separate from a copy's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

Five-SeveN | Heat Treated has Restricted rarity within The Sport & Field Collection. Its acquisition chance from that collection is 1.07%, making a random collection result different from purchasing a selected copy. Ownership by WorldEdit, n0thing, and frozen provides professional visibility, while marketplace purchases and player trades offer ways to obtain an existing item.

Why it’s Popular:

• Blue and purple patches contrast with warmer bronze and gold

• Dark lower frame keeps the colorful slide visually prominent

• Every exterior offers a different condition option

• Souvenir versions provide an alternative to standard copies

Price Range

The live Five-SeveN | Heat Treated price range is $1.67 to $25.44. These bounds cover the whole skin and are not fixed prices for any named exterior or version. Standard and Souvenir copies occupy different price levels, making version an important filter when comparing listings. Exterior also affects the comparison, while exact float helps distinguish copies within the same condition category. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, match the version and exterior, then inspect the float, appearance, and asking price before deciding to buy.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Trade Up Contracts

A trade-up contract using 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The Sport & Field Collection returns 1 Restricted skin from that collection. Five-SeveN | Heat Treated is a possible result, but the selection is random among the collection's Restricted skins, so the contract does not guarantee it.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Five-SeveN | Heat Treated can be bought directly on the Steam Community Market rather than obtained through a random collection result. Check the listing's exterior and whether it is a standard or Souvenir copy before making a purchase.

4. Trade with Other Players

The skin can also be obtained by trading with other players, allowing an existing copy to change hands without a trade-up contract. Compare the offered item's version, exterior, exact float, and appearance before agreeing to the exchange.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Ownership by WorldEdit, n0thing, and frozen gives the finish professional visibility, but does not establish how quickly listings sell. Its future supply and long-term price direction remain uncertain, so scarcity-based investment claims would be premature. When buying, selling, or trading, compare standard and Souvenir copies separately, then check exterior, exact float, and asking price rather than treating every listing as interchangeable.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Distinctive multicolored Case Hardening slide

• Souvenir option for version-focused collectors

• Ownership by WorldEdit, n0thing, and frozen

• Accessible standard copies for playable loadouts

The editorial investment rating is medium, supported by accessible standard listings, a distinct Souvenir option, and professional ownership. Those features provide reasons to consider it for play or collecting, but do not establish a reliable short-term flip. The main risk is uncertain future supply and demand, especially when paying more for a particular version without clear resale evidence.
