Short Description

Five-SeveN | Boost Protocol is a CS2 pistol skin with a Gunsmith finish and robot-themed artwork. Black and light gray panels meet orange-red and pink accents across the slide. Its illustrated upper section and cleaner frame suit players building a futuristic loadout. Factory New through Well-Worn exteriors are available, alongside standard, StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

Five-SeveN | Boost Protocol gives the Counter-Terrorist pistol a mechanical theme built around angular graphics and contrasting colors. The slide carries most of the artwork, combining robot imagery with lettering and small symbols. A mostly light gray frame provides a quieter backdrop beneath that detailed upper section. The matching robot icon beneath the rear sight ties the smaller decoration to the main illustration. The pistol itself combines accuracy, armor penetration and forgiving recoil with a 20-round magazine, although reloading is slow. Its appearance suits players who prefer an illustrated sidearm over a plain color treatment. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions offer different ownership options without changing the underlying Boost Protocol theme. Buyers can compare exterior, float value and version when choosing a copy for their CS2 loadout.

History and Origin

Five-SeveN | Boost Protocol was released on September 21, 2021, with the Operation Riptide update. It arrived in the Operation Riptide Case as part of that release. The skin belongs to The Operation Riptide Collection. Steam Workshop community designer dre created the finish. Its collection membership also gives it a route through Trade Up Contracts, separate from opening the original case. The Operation Riptide Case no longer drops following Valve's retirement of the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened. Today, buyers can also obtain the finished skin through the Steam Community Market or player-to-player trades.

Finish Style

Boost Protocol uses the Gunsmith finish style, with painted graphics and sharply contrasting colors. Black and light gray panels divide the slide rather than covering it in a uniform shade. Bright orange-red and pink accents bring color to the angular artwork across the upper section. A stylized robot graphic establishes the mechanical theme along the slide. The "BOOST" lettering and small symbols near the muzzle add detail toward the front. A smaller robot icon beneath the rear sight echoes the larger illustration. The light gray frame contrasts with the black trigger guard and textured black grip. Thin red markings behind the grip extend the accent color downward, while the lower frame remains comparatively clean.

Float Value

The float value range for Five-SeveN | Boost Protocol is 0.00 to 0.41. It comes in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. StatTrak and Souvenir versions also exist, with version type separate from the skin's exterior condition.

Rarity and Popularity

Five-SeveN | Boost Protocol has Restricted rarity. Its chance from the Operation Riptide Case is 3.2%, about 1 in 31 openings. Professional owners include s1mple, NiKo and tarik, giving the finish visibility among established players without changing its rarity or acquisition odds.

Why it’s Popular:

• Robot artwork gives the slide a distinctive mechanical theme

• Orange-red and pink accents contrast with neutral panels

• Detailed slide artwork sits above a cleaner frame

• Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir ownership options

Price Range

The live CS2 skin price range for Five-SeveN | Boost Protocol is $2.79 to $19.93. These bounds cover the whole item, not a fixed exterior or version. Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn give buyers different condition choices within its float range. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions should be checked separately rather than treated as interchangeable listings. Compare each asking price with the exact float, exterior and version, then inspect the pictured finish before choosing a copy to buy.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Operation Riptide Case

Open an existing Operation Riptide Case for a chance at Boost Protocol. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought and opened. This skin has a 3.2% opening chance, so the result is uncertain.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract can exchange 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The Operation Riptide Collection for 1 Restricted skin from that collection. Boost Protocol is a possible result, not a selectable reward. The outcome is random among the collection's Restricted skins.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy Five-SeveN | Boost Protocol directly on the Steam Community Market instead of relying on a random case or contract result. Check the listing's exterior and version, and inspect the specific copy before purchasing.

5. Trade with Other Players

Trade with another player to obtain a specific Boost Protocol copy rather than a random result. Before agreeing, verify its exact item name, exterior, float and whether it is standard, StatTrak or Souvenir.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The retired case receives no new drops, although existing cases and Trade Up Contracts can still add Boost Protocol copies. Professional ownership provides visibility, but does not establish sustained buying demand or resale speed. Players planning to sell or trade should compare the exact float, exterior and version rather than relying on the collection name alone.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Original case no longer receives new drops

• Distinctive robot-themed artwork

• Ownership by established professional players

• Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir collecting options

The investment rating is medium, balancing retired case supply and professional ownership against uncertain future demand. Those factors support collector interest, but do not establish a rising price trend. The main risk is continued skin supply from existing cases and trade-ups, with no assurance of appreciation.
