Five-SeveN | Flame Test

Five-SeveN | Flame Test is a CS2 pistol skin with a purple metal-flake slide and a silver flame at the muzzle. Its dark gray frame keeps the lower half restrained, letting the decorated slide stand out. The look suits purple loadouts and players who prefer concentrated detail over an all-over pattern. It comes in Factory New through Battle-Scarred, with StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions available.

Description

Five-SeveN | Flame Test applies a Gunsmith finish to the Counter-Terrorist Five-SeveN pistol in CS2. The weapon combines accurate, armor-piercing fire with a 20-round magazine, forgiving recoil and slower loading. Its finish centers on a deep purple slide, where a fine metallic texture adds detail beneath the flame design. A silver-gray flame covers the muzzle end, while darker purple shapes extend toward the rear of the slide. The mostly plain frame provides a neutral base rather than continuing the decoration across every weapon part. This balance suits players seeking a colorful pistol with a restrained grip and lower frame. Regular, StatTrak and Souvenir versions give buyers different listing categories to consider alongside their preferred exterior. Comparing the float value, version and visible condition helps narrow the choice without relying on the exterior label alone.

History and Origin

Five-SeveN | Flame Test entered CS:GO on February 14, 2018, alongside the Clutch Case. Its release formed part of the "Clutch Case Skins" update. PTP created the design as a Steam Workshop community designer. The skin belongs to The Clutch Collection. The Clutch Case remains the case-opening route for this pistol, although historic release and current case availability are separate considerations. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, and the Clutch Case no longer drops. Existing cases can still be purchased on the market and opened, so retirement does not remove that acquisition route. Today, buyers can also obtain existing copies through the Steam Community Market or trades with other players.

Finish Style

The Gunsmith finish gives the slide a deep purple base with a fine, speckled metal-flake texture. At the muzzle, a silver-gray flame creates a bright focal point against the darker surrounding color. Dark purple flame shapes stretch back along the slide, connecting the front decoration with the rest of the finish. Thin highlights trace the upper edge and rear serrations, adding definition without introducing another large color block. The frame and trigger guard remain dark gray, keeping the lower portion visually quieter than the slide. A textured grip continues that neutral treatment, while lighter gray controls provide small points of contrast. A red dot above the trigger adds a compact accent outside the main purple-and-silver palette. With most decoration concentrated above the frame, the overall character comes from the flame silhouette, metallic speckling and contrast between weapon parts.

Float Value

Five-SeveN | Flame Test has a float range of 0.00 to 0.65, covering its available cosmetic conditions. It comes in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, so none of those exterior categories is missing. StatTrak and Souvenir versions are also available, but version availability is separate from the condition represented by an individual copy's float.

Rarity and Popularity

Five-SeveN | Flame Test is a Mil-Spec Grade skin in The Clutch Collection. Its stated chance from a Clutch Case opening is 11.42%, an opening probability rather than a measure of market scarcity. FalleN, s1mple and apEX own the skin, giving it supported professional ownership without establishing how strongly buyers currently demand it.

Why it’s Popular:

• Deep purple metal-flake texture gives the slide a distinct appearance

• Silver muzzle flames contrast with the restrained dark gray frame

• Every exterior category offers a condition choice

• StatTrak and Souvenir options broaden the available versions

Price Range

The live Five-SeveN | Flame Test price range is $0.08 to $18.00. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a fixed exterior or version. Its regular copies occupy an accessible price level, while exterior and version choices can change the asking price. Compare regular, StatTrak and Souvenir listings separately rather than assuming similarly named copies carry similar prices. Within each category, check the exact float and visible condition before judging whether a listing matches the intended purchase.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Clutch Case

Open an existing Clutch Case for a chance at Flame Test, with a stated skin-specific probability of 11.42%. The case no longer drops, but market-bought cases can still be opened; this route does not guarantee the desired skin.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy Five-SeveN | Flame Test directly from an available Steam Community Market listing instead of relying on a case opening. Check the listing's exterior and version, then compare its float and visible condition where those details are available.

4. Trade with Other Players

Obtain the skin through a trade with another player who owns a copy. Confirm the exterior, float and whether the offered item is regular, StatTrak or Souvenir before accepting the exchange.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The Clutch Case no longer drops, but opening existing cases can still add Flame Test copies to circulation. Ownership by named professionals does not establish trading volume or sustained buying pressure, so demand remains uncertain. Compare regular, StatTrak and Souvenir copies by exterior and float before deciding which listing to buy, sell or trade.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired case supply supports a finite case-opening route

• Accessible regular copies offer a modest entry point

• Named professional ownership gives it a collector reference

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions provide distinct collecting options

The editorial investment rating is medium, balancing retired case supply and professional ownership against an accessible Mil-Spec Grade market. Those factors give it reasons to hold, but they do not establish a reliable short-term trading opportunity. The main risk is that reduced case supply may not translate into stronger demand or higher skin prices.
