Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of Dragons Adds New Characters With Free DLC in April 2025
The roster of playable characters in Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of Dragons is set to expand with two in the free DLC in April, 2025, and an additional six characters expected to be added later in the year.
Singapore-based indie game developer Secret Base Pte together with global publisher Maximum Entertainment announced that this is the first of several planned character updates, which will add new dimensions to the gameplay as each character will come with their own special moves.
“Players can unleash devastating combos and special moves as they fight their way through the city, with unique playable characters and unlockable upgrades. In a fresh twist on the classic formula, players can select up to two characters to form a tag team for cooperative play,” the companies said in a joint press release.
