UMP-45 | Scorched

The UMP-45 | Scorched is a CS2 SMG skin with a subdued Spray-Paint finish. Charcoal black, muted tan, and brown form soft-edged patches across the weapon. Its understated appearance suits players building neutral-colored loadouts without prominent artwork. Regular and Souvenir copies are available across Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred exteriors, but there is no StatTrak™ version.

Description

The UMP-45 | Scorched applies a sun-dappled spray pattern to the UMP-45 SMG in CS2. Its mostly charcoal receiver carries irregular tan and brown patches rather than a sharply outlined graphic. The pattern continues across the magazine and skeletal stock, giving the separate parts a consistent visual theme. Dark front components keep the palette restrained, while lighter bands on the foregrip add contrast. This finish suits players who prefer muted equipment colors over decorative artwork or prominent lettering. Buyers can choose between regular and Souvenir copies without changing the underlying Scorched finish. The exterior label and exact float value help distinguish individual listings within either version. When deciding to buy, sell, or trade, those attributes provide a more useful comparison than the skin name alone.

History and Origin

UMP-45 | Scorched was introduced in CS:GO on July 1, 2014. Its release formed part of the Operation Breakout update. The skin belongs to The Overpass Collection. Valve created the finish rather than a community designer. Its Souvenir availability connects it to 18 compatible Souvenir Packages. Examples include ESL One Cologne 2014 Overpass Souvenir Package and DreamHack 2014 Overpass Souvenir Package, linking this version to historical Overpass tournament packages. Today, existing regular and Souvenir copies can be acquired through the Steam Community Market or trades with other players. Opening a compatible Souvenir Package offers another acquisition route, although it does not guarantee this particular finish.

Finish Style

Scorched uses the Spray-Paint finish style to create an uneven pattern resembling patches of light and shadow. Charcoal black dominates the receiver, interrupted by muted tan and brown areas with soft boundaries. These irregular blotches extend across the body, magazine, and skeletal stock instead of forming a single illustration. The short barrel and front rail remain dark, maintaining the restrained appearance toward the muzzle. Lighter brown bands cross the ribbed vertical foregrip and make its ridges visually distinct. The pistol grip has a dark, finely textured surface that fits the surrounding palette. Pale metallic highlights appear along several edges, adding small points of contrast without becoming decorative accents. With no visible artwork or prominent lettering, the finish relies on color placement, texture, and diffuse shapes for its character.

Float Value

The UMP-45 | Scorched float value ranges from 0.06 to 0.80, defining its condition range separately from its version. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred. Regular and Souvenir copies are available, but no StatTrak version exists; Souvenir identifies a version rather than an additional exterior condition.

Rarity and Popularity

The UMP-45 | Scorched is Consumer Grade, a rarity classification separate from its exterior condition and Souvenir status. Its Overpass Collection outcome chance is 16.01%, but that figure should not be treated as the odds from a Souvenir Package. Recorded ownership by kennyS, olofmeister, and apEX provides professional visibility without establishing broad demand or future trading performance.

Why it’s Popular:

• Muted colors suit neutral loadouts

• Soft-edged spray pattern avoids prominent graphics

• Regular and Souvenir versions offer different acquisition options

• Available exteriors span Factory New to Battle-Scarred

Price Range

The live UMP-45 | Scorched CS2 skin price range is $0.09 to $862.00. These bounds cover the whole skin, not fixed prices for specific exteriors or versions. Compare regular and Souvenir listings separately, then check the exact float and exterior attached to each copy. Its inexpensive price level does not establish that either version consistently carries a premium. Listings are available on the Steam Community Market.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Souvenir Package

Open a compatible Overpass Souvenir Package for a chance at the Souvenir version of UMP-45 | Scorched. There are 18 compatible packages, including ESL One Cologne 2014 Overpass Souvenir Package, but an opening does not guarantee this finish. Check the package identity before buying rather than applying the collection outcome chance to a package opening.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy an existing copy on the Steam Community Market to select a listed exterior and version instead of accepting a random opening result. Check the exact float and whether the item is regular or Souvenir before choosing a listing.

4. Trade with Other Players

Trade with another player for an existing regular or Souvenir copy of the skin. Verify the offered item, exterior, and exact float before accepting, particularly when comparing copies that share the same finish name but differ in condition.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Current supply trends and sustained trading demand are uncertain, despite documented professional ownership and the skin's inexpensive price level. There is no established price history here to support a confident short-term resale outlook or a claim of shrinking supply. For practical comparisons, separate regular and Souvenir copies, match their exteriors, and inspect floats before deciding whether to buy, sell, or trade.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Subdued charcoal, tan, and brown styling

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Souvenir availability through historical Overpass packages

• Exterior choices spanning Factory New to Battle-Scarred

The investment rating is medium-to-poor: the skin offers an inexpensive entry and documented professional ownership, but evidence for sustained demand is limited. Consumer Grade rarity does not support a scarcity-led argument on its own, and future supply movement is uncertain. The main risk is relying on assumed resale interest or version premiums rather than verified listing comparisons.
