How is a skin affected by its quality?

Exterior quality represents the skin's cosmetic condition, not its rarity. UMP-45 | Exposure spans 0.00 to 0.55; inspect the individual copy's preview when comparing condition.

How does the rarity of a skin work?

Rarity is the skin's grade and is separate from exterior condition. UMP-45 | Exposure is Restricted, with a 3.2% chance from the Spectrum 2 Case.

How much does UMP-45 | Exposure cost?

UMP-45 | Exposure ranges from $0.79 to $8.43. The range covers the whole skin; compare each listing's exterior, float and version.

Short Description

UMP-45 | Exposure is a CS2 SMG skin with bright cyan skeletal artwork over a dark gray and black base. Its x-ray-inspired design centers on a rib cage across the receiver. The look suits players who prefer detailed blue accents on a dark weapon. All listed exterior grades are available, alongside StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

UMP-45 | Exposure gives the UMP-45 SMG a skeletal appearance built around a Custom Paint Job finish. The x-ray concept uses anatomical shapes rather than a simple color block or repeating geometric motif. A prominent rib cage makes the receiver the main visual focus. Smaller bone-like details carry the theme onto the magazine, grips and surrounding weapon parts. Its dark background and cyan accents suit blue-themed loadouts without covering every surface in bright color. Professional players tarik, mixwell and Pimp own the skin. Buyers can choose standard, StatTrak™ or Souvenir versions according to their preferred item type. Comparing the exterior, exact float and item preview helps distinguish individual copies before a purchase or trade.

History and Origin

UMP-45 | Exposure was released on September 14, 2017, alongside the Spectrum 2 Case. Its release formed part of the Spectrum 2 Case Skins update. Steam Workshop community designer Seee created the finish. The skin belongs to The Spectrum 2 Collection, which also determines its collection-based trade-up route. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, and the Spectrum 2 Case no longer drops. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened, so retirement did not remove that acquisition route. Today, direct purchases and player trades offer ways to obtain an existing copy without opening a case. Trade Up Contracts also remain an alternative, with Exposure among the possible Restricted results from its collection.

Finish Style

The Exposure finish uses a Custom Paint Job to give the weapon an x-ray-like appearance. Dark gray and black surfaces provide the background for bright cyan-blue skeletal artwork. A large rib cage stretches across the receiver and anchors the central composition. Bone-like lines extend forward along the housing and barrel area. Narrow skeletal shapes continue down the magazine, pistol grip and vertical foregrip. Cyan outlines also follow portions of the open stock and front sight assembly. Several edges and panels remain light gray, breaking up the darker base and blue artwork. The central body carries dense detail, while surrounding parts use sparser linework to continue the theme.

Float Value

The UMP-45 | Exposure float range is 0.00 to 0.55. It is available in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, so no exterior grade is excluded. Standard, StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions are available, with version choice separate from the cosmetic condition represented by the exterior.

Rarity and Popularity

UMP-45 | Exposure has the Restricted rarity grade. Its chance from the Spectrum 2 Case is 3.2%, or about 1 in 31 openings. Although the case no longer drops, existing cases, marketplace listings, player trades and collection trade-ups keep acquisition routes available.

Why it’s Popular:

• Bright cyan skeletal artwork against a dark base

• Detailed rib cage gives the receiver a clear focal point

• Available across every exterior grade

• StatTrak™ and Souvenir options suit different collecting preferences

Price Range

The live UMP-45 | Exposure price range is $0.79 to $8.43. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a fixed exterior or version. Its low-cost price level makes it accessible for players considering a themed SMG. When comparing a CS2 skin price, check the exterior, exact float value and item preview together. Compare standard, StatTrak™ and Souvenir listings separately rather than assuming their prices always follow the same order.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Spectrum 2 Case

Open a Spectrum 2 Case for a 3.2% chance of receiving UMP-45 | Exposure. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought and opened; the result remains random.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract using 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The Spectrum 2 Collection produces 1 Restricted skin from that collection. Exposure is a possible result, with the outcome random among the collection's Restricted skins.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy UMP-45 | Exposure on the Steam Community Market to select an existing listing instead of a random outcome. Check the listing's exterior, float value and version before choosing a copy.

5. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trades offer another way to obtain UMP-45 | Exposure by exchanging items. Verify the offered copy's exterior, exact float and version before accepting, rather than treating every Exposure as interchangeable.

Trading and Investment Considerations

No new Spectrum 2 Cases drop, although existing cases and trade-up contracts can still produce additional Exposure copies. Professional ownership and a low entry price provide a collecting angle, but do not establish resale speed or future demand. Buy, sell and trade comparisons should account for exterior, float and version.

Reasons it Holds Value

• No new Spectrum 2 Case drops

• Distinctive cyan x-ray artwork

• Ownership by named professional players

• StatTrak™ and Souvenir collecting options

• Accessible entry price

UMP-45 | Exposure receives a medium investment rating, supported by retired case supply, professional ownership and an accessible price level. Additional copies can still enter circulation through existing cases and trade-up contracts. The main risk is assuming case retirement alone establishes stronger demand or future price growth.
