SSG 08 | Jungle Dashed

SSG 08 | Jungle Dashed is a CS2 sniper rifle skin with muted green-and-brown camouflage. Short, angular stencil marks cover its body and attachments, while dark gray metal provides contrast. The matte appearance suits players building an understated, earth-toned loadout. It comes in every exterior, with standard and Souvenir versions available but no StatTrak™ option.

Description

SSG 08 | Jungle Dashed applies a Spray-Paint finish to the SSG 08 sniper rifle in CS2. The weapon is a cost-effective bolt-action option with relatively low damage, suited to early-round long-range shooting. Its camouflage combines olive green, khaki brown, and pale green rather than a bright centerpiece or illustrated design. Angular dash marks spread across the rifle, giving the surface a busy appearance without relying on lettering. The mostly dark gray barrel contrasts with the patterned receiver, stock, and scope. This look suits players who prefer muted equipment colors and a camouflage-focused inventory. Buyers can compare the exterior and exact float value when choosing how much cosmetic wear they want. Souvenir availability also provides a distinct version to consider alongside the standard finish, making version checks useful before buying or trading.

History and Origin

SSG 08 | Jungle Dashed arrived on December 3, 2020, as part of The Ancient Collection. Its introduction accompanied the Operation Broken Fang update. Valve created the finish, rather than a community designer. The tape-stencil painting technique gives the design its camouflage identity and angular markings. Souvenir availability connects the skin to 8 packages. These include the Stockholm 2021 Ancient Souvenir Package and the Antwerp 2022 Ancient Souvenir Package. Today, existing copies can be purchased on the Steam Community Market or acquired through player-to-player trades. Opening a compatible Ancient Souvenir Package offers another acquisition route for a Souvenir copy, although it does not guarantee this particular skin.

Finish Style

Jungle Dashed uses a Spray-Paint finish built around short tape-stencil shapes. Olive green, khaki brown, and muted pale green patches cover the receiver and stock. Small, angular dash marks interrupt those colors, creating an irregular pattern rather than broad, uninterrupted blocks. The markings extend across the scope, grip, and folded bipod, carrying the camouflage onto several attachments. Most of the long barrel remains dark gray, ending in a lighter gray muzzle brake. Exposed dark gray sections also appear around the action and inside the open stock frame. The surface looks matte, emphasizing the subdued palette rather than a glossy or metallic effect. With no large artwork or lettering dominating the body, its visual character comes from the scattered stencil shapes and contrasting weapon parts.

Float Value

SSG 08 | Jungle Dashed has an exact float range of 0.06 to 0.80. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, so no exterior tier is missing. Standard and Souvenir versions are available; these version choices are separate from the skin's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

SSG 08 | Jungle Dashed belongs to the Consumer Grade rarity tier in The Ancient Collection. Its Ancient Collection acquisition chance is 16.0%, which should not be treated as a guaranteed outcome from a Souvenir Package. The skin is owned by professional players FalleN, Snax, and TaZ, providing concrete ownership examples without establishing broader market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Muted olive and khaki colors suit camouflage-focused loadouts

• Angular stencil marks extend across the rifle and attachments

• Every exterior offers a different cosmetic condition choice

• Souvenir availability adds another version for collectors

Price Range

The live SSG 08 | Jungle Dashed price range is $0.10 to $75.00. These bounds cover the whole skin and are not fixed prices for particular exteriors or versions. Exterior and exact float distinguish individual listings, so buyers should inspect both before choosing a copy. Standard and Souvenir versions should also be compared separately rather than treated as interchangeable items. A useful CS2 skin price comparison checks the version, visible condition, and asking price together instead of relying on the exterior label alone.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Souvenir Package

Souvenir copies can be obtained by opening a compatible Ancient Souvenir Package. Options include the Stockholm 2021 Ancient Souvenir Package and the Antwerp 2022 Ancient Souvenir Package. Opening one offers a chance at this finish, not a guaranteed Jungle Dashed result.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The Steam Community Market provides a direct route to buy SSG 08 | Jungle Dashed without opening a package. Check the listing's exterior and whether it is a standard or Souvenir version, then inspect its float and appearance where available.

4. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trading is another way to acquire the skin by exchanging items with another owner. Before accepting a trade, confirm the exact finish, exterior, float, and version so the received copy matches the intended choice.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The skin's low price level and Consumer Grade rarity favor an accessible inventory purchase rather than a strong scarcity-based investment argument. Professional ownership and Souvenir availability offer reasons to consider it, but listing depth, resale demand, and price history remain uncertain. Buyers planning to sell or trade should compare matching versions and floats without assuming that availability guarantees a quick resale.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Low entry price for a playing inventory

• Souvenir versions offer a separate collecting option

• Ownership by FalleN, Snax, and TaZ

• Distinct olive-and-khaki tape-stencil finish

The editorial investment rating is medium-to-poor, reflecting its low price level and Consumer Grade rarity rather than a demonstrated scarcity advantage. Souvenir options and professional ownership add interest, but they do not establish sustained buying demand. The main risk is uncertain resale demand and price movement, making it better approached as a cosmetic purchase than a return-focused holding.
