Skeleton Knife | Safari Mesh

★ Skeleton Knife | Safari Mesh is a CS2 knife skin with subdued olive, khaki and gray-green camouflage. Irregular patches and mesh markings cover its skeletonized shape, while a thin bright blade edge breaks up the muted colors. The finish suits players building an earthy, low-contrast loadout. It comes in Factory New through Battle-Scarred, with regular and StatTrak™ versions available.

Description

★ Skeleton Knife | Safari Mesh gives the Skeleton Knife a camouflage finish using the Spray-Paint style in CS2. The weapon's skeletonized tang leaves openings that make its construction a visible part of the design. A large circular opening near the blade base provides a place for a finger to help stabilize the grip. Tape around the handle adds another practical detail to the knife's underlying shape. Across the blade and handle, muted colors keep the camouflage from overwhelming those structural features. Mesh markings and broad patches give the finish texture without introducing bright color accents. This combination suits players who prefer a restrained knife that complements olive, khaki or gray equipment. Buyers can compare the exterior, individual float value and StatTrak availability without changing the finish's basic camouflage theme.

History and Origin

The skin was released on November 18, 2019, during the Operation Shattered Web update. Its original case was the Shattered Web Case, establishing that container as its launch source. Valve created the finish rather than a community designer. The accompanying flavor text connects its camouflage with a predator remaining dangerous regardless of its surroundings. The Fracture Case is another supported route for obtaining the same knife finish. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, ending new drops of both source cases. As of October 9, 2026, neither case drops, although existing containers remain available to buy and open. Today, buyers can also obtain the finished skin through marketplace purchases or player-to-player trades instead of relying on an opening.

Finish Style

The Safari Mesh palette combines muted olive green, khaki and gray-green across the blade and handle. Its Spray-Paint finish uses mesh fencing and cardboard shapes as stencils to create the camouflage effect. Broad, irregular patches stretch across the blade rather than forming a sharply outlined illustration. Faint mesh-like markings sit within that blade finish, keeping the surface texture relatively subtle. The handle carries a more noticeable diagonal mesh pattern that gives this area a different visual rhythm. Several narrow transverse lines also cross the handle, adding detail within the same restrained palette. Four smaller holes along the blade and another near the handle tip interrupt the painted surfaces with open space. A thin bright cutting edge contrasts with the subdued body, giving the blade a clear outline without changing the low-contrast character.

Float Value

The float value range for ★ Skeleton Knife | Safari Mesh is 0.06 to 0.80. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. Regular and StatTrak versions are supported, but there is no Souvenir version; the version choice is separate from cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

★ Skeleton Knife | Safari Mesh has the Covert rarity grade. Its supported drop chance from the Shattered Web Case is 0.0049%, which should not be treated as a stated Fracture Case probability. Professional player DANK1NG owns the skin, providing a professional ownership connection without establishing broader demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Muted camouflage suits olive, khaki and gray loadouts

• Mesh texture adds detail without bright colors

• Skeletonized shape and circular opening remain visually distinctive

• Regular and StatTrak options support different buyer preferences

Price Range

The live ★ Skeleton Knife | Safari Mesh price range is $101.41 to $645.19. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a fixed exterior or version. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, match the exterior and regular or StatTrak version before comparing offers. Check each listing's actual float as well, since an exterior label does not specify the precise value. Buyers looking to buy, sell or trade should use current comparable listings rather than treating the overall range as an individual valuation.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

Open a Shattered Web Case or Fracture Case for a chance to obtain this knife finish. Neither case receives new drops, but existing cases can still be bought and opened. The stated Safari Mesh chance from the Shattered Web Case is 0.0049%, so opening does not provide a predictable purchase outcome.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The Steam Community Market provides a direct purchase route for the finished skin. Select the desired exterior and regular or StatTrak version before comparing available offers. Check the individual float wherever inspection is available, rather than relying solely on the condition label.

4. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trading is another way to obtain the knife without opening a case. Confirm that the offered item has the Safari Mesh finish, the agreed exterior and the correct version. Compare its float and current comparable listings before accepting, especially when exchanging items with different conditions.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retired source cases limit new case supply, although stored Shattered Web and Fracture cases can still produce additional knives when opened. DANK1NG's ownership adds a professional connection, but it does not establish broad buyer demand or easy resale. Without trading-volume or price-history evidence, practical comparisons should focus on exterior, float and StatTrak status rather than assumed short-term gains.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Both source cases no longer receive new drops

• Professional ownership by DANK1NG

• Distinctive skeletonized shape with restrained camouflage

• Regular and StatTrak versions offer separate collecting choices

The investment rating is medium, supported by retired source cases, professional ownership and a range of available exterior choices. The main risk is uncertain buyer demand, while existing cases can still add new copies through openings. It is better approached as a preferred play skin with trading potential than a purchase made on expectations of returns.
