Skeleton Knife | Fade

★ Skeleton Knife | Fade is a CS2 knife skin with a glossy, multicolored blade and a dark wrapped handle. Violet, pink, red, orange and gold flow across the metal, while the exposed finger ring gives the silhouette a distinctive shape. The finish suits players who prefer colorful blades without lettering or artwork. Factory New and Minimal Wear copies are available, including StatTrak™ versions.

Description

★ Skeleton Knife | Fade brings a reflective color gradient to a knife with an open, skeletonized frame in CS2. The blade moves from pale violet at the tip toward warmer orange and gold near the handle. Dark overlapping handle wraps contrast with the bright metal, keeping the grip visually separate from the blade. A large finger ring forms a prominent part of the knife's shape and allows a finger to pass through for stability. Small circular cutouts near the blade base add detail without introducing a printed pattern. The uncluttered design suits players who want color to carry the look rather than text or illustrations. Buyers can choose standard or StatTrak versions while keeping the same Fade finish. When selecting a copy, compare its exterior, exact float value and pictured appearance rather than relying on the finish name alone.

History and Origin

★ Skeleton Knife | Fade was released on November 18, 2019, with the Shattered Web Case. Its arrival in CS:GO was part of the Operation Shattered Web update. Valve created the skin, rather than a community designer. The Fracture Case is another case source for this finish, alongside its original Shattered Web source. As of October 9, 2026, neither source case receives new drops. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, ending new drops for both cases. Existing Shattered Web and Fracture cases can still be bought on the market and opened, so retirement does not remove that acquisition route. Completed skins can also be obtained through marketplace purchases or player trades, without relying on a case-opening result.

Finish Style

Fade uses the Anodized Airbrushed finish style, giving the blade a smooth metallic gradient. Transparent layers of color sit over a chrome base, allowing the reflective metal to remain central to the appearance. Pale violet covers the tip before transitioning through pink and red farther along the blade. Orange and gold appear near the handle, placing the warmer colors around the blade base. Bright reflective bands cross the blade and reinforce its glossy surface. Four small circular cutouts sit above the large finger ring, whose pale silver rim remains visually distinct from the colored blade. The handle has dark overlapping wraps, with exposed silver metal and a small round hole at its end. With no visible text or artwork, the design places attention on the color transitions, reflections and open knife structure.

Float Value

The float value of ★ Skeleton Knife | Fade ranges from 0.00 to 0.08. Its available exteriors are Factory New and Minimal Wear, with no Field-Tested, Well-Worn or Battle-Scarred copies. StatTrak versions are available; this version choice is separate from the skin's exterior condition.

Rarity and Popularity

★ Skeleton Knife | Fade has the Covert rarity grade. Its stated chance of being obtained from the Shattered Web Case is 0.0049%, which should not be treated as a confirmed Fracture Case figure. Documented professional owners include rain, DANK1NG and juanflatroo, providing ownership evidence without establishing broader market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Glossy violet-to-gold color transitions across the blade

• Distinctive finger ring and skeletonized knife frame

• Dark handle wraps contrast with the reflective metal

• Standard and StatTrak versions suit different preferences

Price Range

The live CS2 skin price range for ★ Skeleton Knife | Fade is $420.58 to $1,124.68. These bounds cover the whole skin, rather than fixed prices for a named exterior or version. Factory New and Minimal Wear are the available condition choices, so compare the exact float within each exterior. Standard and StatTrak listings should be assessed separately, without assuming they carry equivalent prices. Check the pictured blade and asking price together when deciding which listing to buy.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

Open a Shattered Web Case or Fracture Case for a chance to obtain this knife. Neither case receives new drops, but existing cases can still be purchased and opened. The stated Shattered Web Case chance is 0.0049%, so opening a case does not provide a reliable way to secure this particular finish.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

★ Skeleton Knife | Fade can be bought on the Steam Community Market. Compare Factory New and Minimal Wear listings, keeping standard and StatTrak versions separate. Check the exact item details before purchasing rather than treating every copy of the finish as interchangeable.

4. Trade with Other Players

The knife can also be obtained by trading with other players. Confirm the offered copy's exterior, float value and StatTrak status before agreeing to the exchange. Compare current listings when assessing the trade, rather than assuming the finish name alone establishes its value.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Both source cases have stopped receiving new drops, although existing unopened cases can still introduce additional copies of the knife. Professional ownership gives the finish visibility, but does not establish fast resale or a rising price trend. Buyers, sellers and traders should compare exterior, float and version before assessing an individual copy's asking price.

Reasons it Holds Value

• No new drops for either source case

• Documented ownership among professional players

• Distinctive metallic gradient and skeletonized silhouette

• Standard and StatTrak versions broaden buyer choice

The editorial investment rating is medium-to-good, supported by retired case sources, documented professional ownership and a high purchase price level. Existing cases can still produce more copies, so retired drops do not mean the skin's circulating supply is fixed. The main risk is uncertain resale demand, making predictable returns or quick flips an unsupported expectation.
