Skeleton Knife | Night Stripe

The ★ Skeleton Knife | Night Stripe is a CS2 knife skin with dark blue-gray coloring and subdued charcoal stripes. Its open handle shape and bright cutting edge contrast with the muted finish. The look suits restrained loadouts and players who favor shape over decorative artwork. It comes from Factory New through Battle-Scarred, with regular and StatTrak™ versions.

Description

The ★ Skeleton Knife | Night Stripe pairs the Skeleton Knife's open construction with a restrained Spray-Paint finish in CS2. Its dark palette gives the blade and handle a consistent look without bright colors dominating the design. The skeletonized tang, taped grip and circular handle opening define the weapon's distinctive shape. That large opening accommodates a finger for stability and safer handling. The absence of visible lettering or decorative artwork keeps attention on the diagonal bands and exposed metal edge. This combination suits players choosing a subdued knife for a dark loadout. Professional players s1mple and PKL have owned the skin, adding examples of ownership beyond its marketplace availability. Buyers can compare exterior condition, exact float value and regular or StatTrak versions before choosing a copy.

History and Origin

The ★ Skeleton Knife | Night Stripe arrived in CS:GO on November 18, 2019, through the Shattered Web Case and Operation Shattered Web update. Valve created the skin, rather than a community designer. The Fracture Case is another current case source for the same knife finish. Both source cases stopped dropping when Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. Their no-drop status remained in effect as of October 9, 2026. Existing cases can still be bought and opened, so retirement did not end case-based acquisition. Today, direct marketplace purchases and player trades also provide access without opening either case.

Finish Style

Night Stripe uses a Spray-Paint finish built around a tape-mask pattern and a subdued night-operations palette. Dark blue-gray covers the blade and handle, with muted charcoal stripes crossing diagonally. The blade's broad, irregular bands give the surface an uneven striped rhythm. A thin, bright metallic cutting edge contrasts with the darker blade face. Closely spaced diagonal bands continue the treatment along the taped grip. Four small circular holes sit near the blade's base, beside the larger opening at the handle junction. Another small hole appears near the rounded end of the grip, reinforcing the knife's open construction. With no visible text or decorative artwork, the finish emphasizes the blade shape, circular openings and contrasting surfaces.

Float Value

The ★ Skeleton Knife | Night Stripe has a float range of 0.06 to 0.80. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. Regular and StatTrak versions exist; version availability should be checked separately from cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

This knife carries the Covert rarity grade, which is separate from its exterior and StatTrak status. Its specific drop chance from the Shattered Web Case is 0.0049%, a figure that should not be applied to the Fracture Case. Ownership by s1mple and PKL adds professional-player context without establishing broader demand or changing its rarity.

Why it’s Popular:

• Muted blue-gray and charcoal colors suit restrained loadouts

• Circular openings give the knife a distinctive silhouette

• Bright metallic edge contrasts with the dark blade

• Regular and StatTrak versions offer different ownership options

Price Range

The live CS2 skin price range for the ★ Skeleton Knife | Night Stripe is $126.34 to $1,404.56. These bounds cover the whole skin, rather than a fixed exterior or StatTrak variant. Compare the exterior, exact float value and version before treating listings as equivalent, since the finish name alone does not describe an individual copy. When deciding to buy or sell, use Eneba Skins to compare listings and check each item's current asking price.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

The knife can be obtained by opening either a Shattered Web Case or a Fracture Case. Neither case receives new drops, but existing cases remain available to buy and open. Opening a case does not guarantee this specific knife.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The ★ Skeleton Knife | Night Stripe can be bought directly on the Steam Community Market without relying on a case result. Check the exterior and regular or StatTrak designation, then verify the individual item's condition and float wherever those details are available.

4. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trades provide another way to obtain this knife using items already owned. Before accepting, verify the finish, exterior and StatTrak status, and inspect the offered copy's float and appearance rather than relying on its title alone.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Neither source case receives new drops, which limits replenishment of sealed cases, but opening existing stock can still add new copies of the knife. When comparing variants for a trade, match exterior, float and StatTrak status; professional ownership alone does not establish current buyer demand or a reliable resale pace.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired source cases no longer receive new drops

• Professional ownership includes s1mple and PKL

• Regular and StatTrak versions offer different buying options

• Distinctive skeletonized shape with a subdued striped finish

The ★ Skeleton Knife | Night Stripe receives a medium-to-good editorial investment rating, supported by retired source cases and professional ownership. The main risk is that existing cases can still produce additional knives, while uncertain resale demand and price trends limit confidence in future returns.
