About this skin

How is a skin affected by its quality?

Quality describes exterior condition, which is tied to float value. Zander supports Factory New through Battle-Scarred; its standard, StatTrak or Souvenir version is a separate characteristic.

How does the rarity of a skin work?

Rarity is a skin's classification, separate from its exterior condition. Zander is Mil-Spec Grade, with an 11.42% chance from a Spectrum Case opening.

How much does Sawed-Off | Zander cost?

Sawed-Off | Zander ranges from $0.17 to $22.78. Compare individual listings by exterior, float and version.

Which exteriors are available for Sawed-Off | Zander?

Sawed-Off | Zander comes in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. Its float range is 0.05 to 1.00.

Which case contains Sawed-Off | Zander?

Sawed-Off | Zander comes from the Spectrum Case. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened.

Does Sawed-Off | Zander have StatTrak and Souvenir versions?

Yes, Sawed-Off | Zander is available in both StatTrak and Souvenir versions, alongside standard copies. Check version separately from exterior and float when comparing listings.

Short Description

Sawed-Off | Zander is a CS2 shotgun skin with a restrained, fish-inspired Patina finish. Its olive-green receiver carries dark vertical markings, balanced by brown furniture and dark gray metal. The earthy palette suits players who prefer subtle detailing over bright graphics. It comes in every exterior from Factory New to Battle-Scarred, with standard, StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions available.

Description

Sawed-Off | Zander gives the Terrorist-side heavy shotgun a hand-painted finish inspired by a game fish. The weapon delivers heavy damage at close range, balanced by low accuracy, wide spread and a slow firing rate. Its Patina finish places the main decorative detail on the receiver rather than spreading the pattern across every component. Dark olive green and a lighter yellow-green lower edge establish the receiver's contrasting colors. Brown furniture and dark gray metal complete a muted palette that keeps the fish-like markings central to the design. The look suits players building an earthy loadout or choosing a shotgun without an overtly bright finish. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir options give buyers different versions to consider alongside cosmetic condition. When comparing copies, the exterior, exact float value and version are more useful identifiers than the finish name alone.

History and Origin

Sawed-Off | Zander entered CS:GO on March 15, 2017, alongside the Spectrum Case. Its launch was part of the "Spectrum Case Skins" update, linking the finish's release to that case. Steam Workshop community designer Puchara created the skin. It belongs to The Spectrum Collection, giving buyers a collection name to distinguish from its weapon and finish. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, ending new Spectrum Case drops. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened, so retirement did not remove the original acquisition route. Opening those cases consumes remaining case supply without replacement through new drops. Today, buyers can also acquire an existing Zander directly through a marketplace purchase or a trade with another player.

Finish Style

The Patina finish concentrates its hand-painted fish motif on the receiver, leaving the surrounding components visually restrained. A dark olive-green base transitions to a lighter yellow-green band along the receiver's lower edge. Dark vertical markings cross this area, suggesting fish stripes rather than a separate illustrated scene. The barrel and exposed tube beneath it are dark gray, with narrow pale highlights tracing their edges. The brown fore-end carries a row of curved dark grooves that adds texture beneath the metal assembly. A subtle grain-like surface appears on the short brown stock, connecting the rear furniture with the fore-end's warm color. The front end cap and trigger guard introduce an olive-green metallic sheen without adding a new dominant color. Small pale fasteners punctuate the receiver, providing crisp details within the otherwise muted green-and-brown composition.

Float Value

The float value ranges from 0.05 to 1.00, covering Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. Exterior labels describe cosmetic condition, while an individual copy's float identifies its position within the supported range. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions are available, so version choice should be checked separately from exterior and float.

Rarity and Popularity

Sawed-Off | Zander is Mil-Spec Grade, with an 11.42% chance from a Spectrum Case opening. Existing cases remain usable despite their retired drop status, keeping case openings available as an acquisition route. Its documented professional owners include s1mple, tarik and chrisJ, although ownership alone does not establish current market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Fish-inspired markings give the receiver a distinctive identity

• Muted olive and brown colors suit understated loadouts

• Every exterior is available for different condition preferences

• Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions offer additional choice

Price Range

The live Sawed-Off | Zander price range is $0.17 to $22.78. These bounds cover the whole skin rather than representing a fixed price for any particular exterior or version. Exterior and exact float value help distinguish listings even when they carry the same finish name. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir copies should be compared separately, without assuming a fixed relationship between their prices. Before deciding to buy or sell, match the version and exterior to the listing being used as a reference.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Spectrum Case

Open a Spectrum Case for a chance to receive Zander. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened. Its 11.42% chance means an opening does not guarantee this specific skin.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The Steam Community Market provides a direct purchase route for Sawed-Off | Zander. Check the exterior and version of the particular copy, and compare its float where available. Buying an identified skin avoids relying on a Spectrum Case opening to produce the desired finish.

4. Trade with Other Players

Zander can also be acquired through a trade with another player who owns it. Agree on the specific copy, then verify its exterior, float value and standard, StatTrak or Souvenir status. This route targets an existing skin rather than depending on the outcome of a case opening.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Spectrum Case retirement limits replenishment of case supply, but remaining cases can still produce additional Zander skins when opened. Documented professional ownership offers some collector context, while future demand, resale activity and price direction remain uncertain. When buying, selling or arranging a trade, compare matching exteriors and versions before weighing differences in exact float value.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired Spectrum Case drops constrain future case supply

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Accessible price level for entry-level collectors

• Distinctive fish-inspired design with restrained colors

The editorial investment rating is medium, supported by an accessible price level, documented professional ownership and retired Spectrum Case drops. The main risk is that remaining cases can add skins to circulation without evidence of demand growth or an upward price trend. It is a collectible purchase to assess carefully, not a promise of returns.
