Sawed-Off | Snake Camo

Sawed-Off | Snake Camo is a CS2 shotgun skin with a sandy tan base and brown and dark olive camouflage patches. Small scale shapes give the painted surfaces a snakeskin texture. Its earthy palette suits players who prefer patterned equipment over bright colors. All exterior grades are available, alongside Souvenir versions, but there is no StatTrak™ option.

Description

Sawed-Off | Snake Camo gives the Terrorist-side Heavy shotgun a mottled camouflage finish in CS2. The weapon delivers heavy damage at close range, balanced by low accuracy, broad spread and a slow firing rate. Its Snake Camo treatment uses a Spray-Paint finish rather than a plain, uniform color. Scale-patterned patches cover several parts of the weapon, keeping the design recognizable beyond the receiver. The compact shotgun's sandy colors suit an earth-toned loadout without relying on vivid accents. Buyers interested in the appearance can compare individual listing images alongside the exterior label. Regular and Souvenir copies provide separate collecting options, while sharing the same underlying finish. For a practical purchase, the listing's float value, condition and version matter more than the skin name alone.

History and Origin

The skin was released on November 27, 2013, with The Dust 2 Collection in the DreamHack 2013 update. Valve created the finish, so its origins are not attributed to a community designer. The collection remains an important part of its identity for both collectors and trade-up buyers. Souvenir acquisition routes include the DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package and EMS One 2014 Souvenir Package. The skin is available through 13 Souvenir packages. Today, completed copies can be bought on the Steam Community Market or obtained through player trades. Opening a compatible Souvenir Package offers another route for buyers specifically seeking the Souvenir version. Eligible trade-up contracts provide a separate collection-based route, although the outcome is not guaranteed to be this shotgun.

Finish Style

Snake Camo uses a Spray-Paint finish built around stenciled scale patterns and freehand patch borders. A sandy tan base extends across the barrel, receiver, ribbed fore-end and short grip. Brown and dark olive patches interrupt that base, giving the shotgun an irregular camouflage layout. Small, dark-edged scale shapes create the snakeskin effect across the painted surfaces. Darker outlines separate the patches, while some spaces remain mostly plain tan. Those quieter areas contrast with the denser pattern without introducing a different color scheme. The trigger guard is tan, while the trigger and exposed action details remain dark. With the scale pattern continuing across several weapon parts, the overall appearance is busy and mottled rather than cleanly divided into solid panels.

Float Value

The Sawed-Off | Snake Camo float range is 0.06 to 0.80. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, covering the full set of exterior grades. Souvenir versions exist, but there is no StatTrak version; version availability is separate from a listing's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

Sawed-Off | Snake Camo has Industrial Grade rarity within The Dust 2 Collection. Its collection chance is 3.2%, about 1 in 31, which should not be treated as the odds for every acquisition method. Documented professional owners include Happy, f0rest and chrisJ, though ownership alone does not establish current demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Earthy colors suit camouflage-focused loadouts

• Snakeskin scales add detail across multiple weapon parts

• Every exterior grade offers a condition choice

• Souvenir versions provide a separate collecting option

Price Range

The live Sawed-Off | Snake Camo price range is $0.02 to $369.88. These bounds cover the whole skin, rather than identifying the price of a particular exterior or version. Regular copies occupy an inexpensive price tier, but individual offers still deserve a careful comparison. Check the float value and exterior together, then confirm whether the listing is regular or Souvenir. When comparing CS2 skin prices, match those details across offers instead of assuming every copy with the same finish is equivalent.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Souvenir Package

Open a compatible Souvenir Package for a chance at a Souvenir Sawed-Off | Snake Camo. The skin is associated with 13 Souvenir packages, including the DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package and EMS One 2014 Souvenir Package. A package opening does not guarantee this particular skin.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract uses 10 Consumer Grade skins from The Dust 2 Collection to produce 1 Industrial Grade skin from that collection. Snake Camo is a possible result, but selection is random among the collection's Industrial Grade skins.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy an existing copy through the Steam Community Market when a suitable listing is available. Compare its exterior, float value and regular or Souvenir designation before choosing an offer. This route lets buyers select a listed copy rather than depend on a random outcome.

5. Trade with Other Players

The skin can also be obtained by trading with another player who owns a copy. Check the offered item's exterior, float and version against the agreed trade details. A regular copy and a Souvenir copy should be evaluated as distinct options, even when their exterior labels match.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The low price level of regular copies makes this skin accessible, but does not establish strong resale demand. Professional ownership adds visibility, yet provides no proof of sustained buying interest or shrinking supply. Current supply trends remain uncertain, so compare exterior, float and version carefully before buying to sell or trade.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Valve-created finish with an established release history

• Souvenir editions offer a distinct collecting option

• Documented ownership by Happy, f0rest and chrisJ

The editorial investment rating is medium-to-poor, reflecting inexpensive regular copies and limited evidence of sustained market demand. Its Valve origins and Souvenir availability give it collecting appeal, but do not demonstrate a strong investment case. The main risk is treating historical provenance or professional ownership as evidence of future price growth.
