Sawed-Off | Yorick

Sawed-Off | Yorick is a CS2 shotgun skin with a dark skull pattern, gold accents, and orange-brown furniture. Its decorated receiver contrasts with the plain gray barrel, giving the weapon a grim but restrained appearance. The finish suits players who prefer dark ornamentation and warm metallic details. All exterior grades are available, alongside StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

Sawed-Off | Yorick gives the Terrorist-side shotgun a skull-themed Gunsmith finish in CS2. The weapon delivers heavy close-range damage, although low accuracy and high spread limit its precision. Its slow firing rate also makes each shot important, so the decorated appearance accompanies a weapon built around close encounters. Black-and-gold artwork draws attention to the receiver rather than covering every surface with equal detail. Orange-brown sections and a dark gray barrel keep the overall palette grounded despite the bright accents. This combination suits players who want an ornamental shotgun without an entirely gold-colored weapon. Professional players apEX, allu, and daps own this skin. Buyers can compare exterior, exact float value, and version to choose a copy that matches their preferences.

History and Origin

Sawed-Off | Yorick was released on December 11, 2015, alongside the Revolver Case. It arrived in the "Revolver Case Skins" update. The finish was created by Marduk, a Steam Workshop community designer. It belongs to The Revolver Case Collection, linking the skin to that case's item lineup. Its flavor text portrays Rosencrantz and Guildenstern as doomed figures, echoing the skull imagery without changing the weapon's appearance. The case remains an opening route, while marketplace purchases and player trades offer ways to obtain an existing copy directly. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, ending new Revolver Case drops. As of October 9, 2026, existing cases can still be bought and opened, but no new ones enter through drops.

Finish Style

The Gunsmith finish pairs hydrographically applied skull imagery with gold detailing painted by hand, concentrating most of the ornament around the receiver. The barrel and lower tube are dark gray, creating a plain metal backdrop for the brighter details. A gold cap at the front of the lower tube adds a distinct highlight away from the central artwork. The fore-end and short stock are orange-brown, with mottled, grain-like texture that gives them a wooden-looking appearance. Dense black-and-gold skull forms cover the receiver, surrounded by rounded shapes and curved lines. A gray central panel interrupts this pattern and gives the busy section a contrasting area. Gold detailing traces the receiver edges and parts of the trigger guard, connecting the artwork with the weapon's outlines. The contrast between the detailed receiver, plain barrel, and warm furniture defines Yorick's visual character.

Float Value

Sawed-Off | Yorick has an exact float range of 0.00 to 1.00. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, with none of these grades excluded. Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir versions exist, so version availability should be considered separately from a copy's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

Sawed-Off | Yorick is a Mil-Spec Grade skin in The Revolver Case Collection. Its stated chance from a Revolver Case opening is 13.32%, although an opening does not guarantee this particular result. Documented ownership by apEX, allu, and daps provides professional inventory context, while existing cases and direct purchases remain relevant acquisition routes.

Why it’s Popular:

• Black-and-gold skull artwork gives the receiver a distinctive focal point

• Warm orange-brown furniture balances the darker metal sections

• Every exterior is available for different cosmetic preferences

• StatTrak and Souvenir options expand the choice of versions

Price Range

The live Sawed-Off | Yorick price range is $0.15 to $26.00. These bounds cover the skin overall and are not fixed prices for any named exterior or version. Yorick's low-cost market position makes it accessible for buyers seeking a decorated shotgun without a large initial purchase. When comparing CS2 skin listings, check the exterior and exact float value rather than relying on the finish name alone. Separate standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir listings before choosing which copy to buy.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Revolver Case

Open a Revolver Case for a chance to receive Yorick, with a stated probability of 13.32%. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be purchased and opened. This route offers a chance at the skin rather than a guaranteed copy.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy Sawed-Off | Yorick directly through the Steam Community Market by selecting an existing listing. Check the listed exterior and version, and inspect the copy's float when available. Direct purchase avoids depending on a Revolver Case opening result.

4. Trade with Other Players

Obtain Yorick through a player-to-player trade when another player offers a suitable copy. Confirm the exterior, float, and version before accepting, especially when choosing between standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir options.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retired Revolver Case drops limit case replenishment, but existing cases can still create additional Yorick skins when opened. Professional ownership provides some evidence of player interest, not a measure of trading demand or future prices. Before buying, selling, or trading, compare matching exteriors and versions rather than treating every listing as equivalent.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired case drops limit replenishment of its original container

• Low entry cost supports budget-conscious collecting

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Distinctive skull artwork and hand-painted gold accents

The editorial investment rating for Sawed-Off | Yorick is medium, supported by its low entry cost, documented professional ownership, and retired case drops. The main risk is continuing skin supply from existing cases, alongside uncertainty about trading demand and future prices. These factors favor a measured purchase rather than an expectation of returns.
