Sawed-Off | Fubar

Sawed-Off | Fubar is a CS2 shotgun skin for the Terrorist-side Sawed-Off, using a subdued Gunsmith finish. Pale barrel tally marks contrast with dark metal, mottled brown wood and an olive-green receiver. Its rugged appearance suits players who prefer muted equipment over bright color schemes. It comes in Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, with StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions also available.

Description

Sawed-Off | Fubar gives the CS2 heavy shotgun a weathered, utilitarian appearance rather than a brightly decorated finish. The weapon delivers heavy close-range damage, balanced by low accuracy, wide spread and a slow rate of fire. Fubar's main visual signature is the pale tally marking along the dark barrel and lower tube. Brown wooden furniture adds visible grain and irregular dark patches to the design. The olive-green and black receiver carries a faint emblem framed by narrow vertical stripes. Together, these details suit players building a subdued brown, green or dark-metal loadout. Professional players tarik, Zeus and kyousuke have owned the skin, although ownership alone does not establish market demand. Buyers can compare the exterior, exact float and available version to choose a copy that fits their preferred appearance and collecting goals.

History and Origin

Sawed-Off | Fubar was released in CS:GO on April 27, 2016, alongside the Chroma 3 Case. Its introduction came through the Chroma 3 Case Skins update. Marduk created the finish as a Steam Workshop community designer. The skin belongs to The Chroma 3 Collection, which identifies its collection separately from the container used to obtain it. Existing Chroma 3 Cases remain available for market purchase and can still be opened. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. As of October 9, 2026, the Chroma 3 Case no longer drops, so newly dropped cases are not replenishing its supply. Current buyers can also obtain an existing Fubar directly through marketplace listings or player-to-player trades instead of opening its original case.

Finish Style

Fubar uses the Gunsmith finish style, combining subdued metal surfaces with visibly textured wooden furniture. The barrel and lower tube are dark gray, creating a restrained backdrop for the lighter markings. Small groups of pale tally marks appear along their sides, giving the shotgun its distinctive visual detail. Both the fore-end and short stock show mottled brown coloring with visible wood grain. Dark patches interrupt the wood tones, keeping these parts consistent with the finish's weathered character. The receiver mixes dark olive green and black with muted brown and green patches. A faint outlined emblem sits on its side between narrow vertical stripes, adding detail without dominating the design. Most of the visual emphasis remains on the tally marks and receiver markings rather than broad areas of bright color.

Float Value

Sawed-Off | Fubar has an exact float range of 0.40 to 1.00, which buyers can check when comparing individual copies. Its only exteriors are Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. StatTrak and Souvenir versions exist, but these version options are separate from the exterior and float value of a particular listing.

Rarity and Popularity

Sawed-Off | Fubar is a Mil-Spec Grade skin in The Chroma 3 Collection. Its chance of appearing from a Chroma 3 Case is 11.42%, so opening the correct container does not ensure this specific result. Documented ownership includes tarik, Zeus and kyousuke, providing evidence of professional ownership without establishing how frequently the skin is bought or traded.

Why it’s Popular:

• Pale tally marks give the barrel a distinctive focal point

• Muted brown and olive colors suit subdued loadouts

• Visible wood grain adds texture to the shotgun

• StatTrak and Souvenir options support different collecting preferences

Price Range

The live Sawed-Off | Fubar price range is $0.14 to $60.00. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a particular exterior or version. When comparing its CS2 skin price, separate Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred listings, then inspect the exact float rather than relying only on the exterior label. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir copies are distinct options, so a useful comparison should keep the version consistent. Check the listed appearance and current asking price together before choosing a copy to buy, sell or trade.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Chroma 3 Case

Open the Chroma 3 Case for an 11.42% chance of receiving Sawed-Off | Fubar. The case no longer drops, but existing containers can still be bought on the market and opened. This route offers a chance at the skin rather than a certain Fubar purchase.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Sawed-Off | Fubar can be bought directly on the Steam Community Market. Compare the listed exterior and version, then check float information where available before selecting a copy. Direct purchase avoids relying on a Chroma 3 Case opening to produce the desired skin.

4. Trade with Other Players

Sawed-Off | Fubar can also be obtained through a trade with another player. Check whether the offered copy is Well-Worn or Battle-Scarred and whether it is standard, StatTrak or Souvenir. Review the exact item and its float before agreeing to the exchange.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The retired Chroma 3 Case receives no new drops, but openings of existing cases can still introduce additional Fubar copies. Professional ownership supports interest in the skin, while its low price level does not establish trading volume or a reliable price trend. Compare like-for-like exteriors and versions before buying or selling, since the item-wide price range does not describe every individual listing.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired case supply is not replenished by new drops

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Distinctive tally-mark design

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions broaden collecting options

Sawed-Off | Fubar receives a medium investment rating, supported by its retired case source, low entry price and documented professional ownership. Its main risk is that existing case openings can still add skin supply, while evidence of sustained demand and price growth remains limited. The finish offers a practical collecting choice, but its appearance and ownership history do not promise returns.
