Short Description

The Sawed-Off | Limelight is a CS2 shotgun skin with a dark charcoal base and bright lime-green and off-white artwork. Sweeping shapes cover the compact weapon, while fine line textures add detail to the darker areas. Its contrasting palette suits players building a green-themed loadout. All exteriors are available, alongside StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

The Sawed-Off | Limelight brings a graphic, high-contrast finish to the Terrorist-side shotgun in CS2. Its Custom Paint Job combines flowing green outlines with broad off-white shapes rather than covering the entire weapon in bright color. Dark areas remain visible between the accents, giving the artwork room to stand out. The shotgun itself delivers heavy damage at close range. Low accuracy, wide spread and a slow firing rate make it a weapon with clear practical limitations. This finish suits players who prefer curved artwork and bright accents over a subdued, single-color look. Regular, StatTrak and Souvenir versions give buyers different options for the same design. When choosing a copy, compare its exterior and exact float value, then inspect how the artwork looks on that individual item.

History and Origin

The Sawed-Off | Limelight debuted in CS:GO on June 15, 2016, alongside the Gamma Case. Its release belonged to the Gamma Case Skins update. Steam Workshop community designer SENSEI created the finish. The skin is part of The Gamma Collection, which also provides its collection-based trade-up route. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. As of October 9, 2026, the Gamma Case no longer drops, so new case drops do not replenish its supply. Existing Gamma Cases can still be purchased on the market and opened for a chance at this skin. Buyers can also obtain an existing copy through marketplace purchases or player-to-player trades, rather than generating a random result.

Finish Style

Limelight uses a Custom Paint Job built around lime green, off-white and dark charcoal. The fore-end has a broad green stripe and a narrower curved accent across its ribbed surface. A slim green line follows the barrel, connecting the visual theme along the shotgun. Near the muzzle, a green band creates a distinct accent against the dark base. Alternating green and white blocks appear closer to the receiver. Across the receiver and short stock, sweeping outlines frame larger off-white shapes and small printed markings. Fine diagonal line textures fill selected dark sections without eliminating the charcoal background. Together, the flowing shapes and linear details give the finish a graphic appearance while preserving clear areas of dark color.

Float Value

The Sawed-Off | Limelight has a float range of 0.00 to 1.00. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, with none of those exterior categories excluded. StatTrak and Souvenir versions are also available, but version choice is separate from the cosmetic condition represented by exterior and float.

Rarity and Popularity

The Sawed-Off | Limelight has Restricted rarity. Its chance of appearing from a Gamma Case opening is 3.2%, so opening the case is not a way to select this specific result. Professional players Xyp9x, Hiko and ChildKing have owned the skin.

Why it’s Popular:

• Bright lime-green accents against a dark charcoal base

• Sweeping artwork across the barrel, receiver and stock

• Fine diagonal textures add detail to dark sections

• Regular, StatTrak and Souvenir options

Price Range

The live Sawed-Off | Limelight price range is $1.08 to $17.94. These bounds cover the whole skin rather than fixed prices for particular variants. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, match listings by exterior and check the exact float value. Confirm whether each offer is regular, StatTrak or Souvenir, since version and condition describe different aspects of the item. Buyers and sellers should compare equivalent copies instead of treating every Limelight listing as interchangeable.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Gamma Case

Open a Gamma Case for a chance at the Sawed-Off | Limelight, with a 3.2% chance of receiving this finish. The case no longer drops, but existing cases remain available to buy on the market and open.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A trade-up contract using 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The Gamma Collection produces a Restricted skin from that collection. Limelight is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Restricted skins.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The Sawed-Off | Limelight can be purchased directly on the Steam Community Market without opening a case or completing a trade-up. Compare the offered exterior, float and version before selecting a copy.

5. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trades offer another way to acquire an existing Sawed-Off | Limelight. Check the receiving item's exterior, exact float and version before accepting, especially when exchanging a different skin for it.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retired Gamma Case drops limit replenishment of unopened cases, although existing cases and trade-up contracts can still add Limelight skins to circulation. Professional ownership provides visibility, but it does not establish sustained buyer demand or a predictable resale pace. Compare exterior, float and version when planning to buy, sell or trade, rather than assuming every copy has the same market appeal.

Reasons it Holds Value

• No new Gamma Case drops replenish case supply

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Distinctive lime-green and off-white artwork

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions provide additional ownership options

The Sawed-Off | Limelight earns a medium investment rating, balancing retired case drops and professional ownership against uncertain resale demand. Its accessible price level can suit a cosmetic purchase, but does not establish future appreciation. Existing cases and trade-ups can still generate copies, making continued skin supply a risk despite the end of case drops.
