P2000 | Space Race

P2000 | Space Race is a Restricted CS2 pistol skin for the Counter-Terrorist P2000. Its space-themed artwork combines stars, satellite shapes, dotted grids, and angular bands in navy, tan, orange, and cream. The layered design suits players who prefer detailed science-fiction artwork over a plain weapon finish. Regular and Souvenir versions are available across all exterior grades, but there is no StatTrak™ version.

Description

P2000 | Space Race gives the Counter-Terrorist pistol a space-themed finish with small motifs spread across its slide and frame. The underlying German-made P2000 is an accurate, controllable weapon, pairing a practical pistol with decorative artwork. Its first-round role is most effective against unarmored opponents, while the skin changes its appearance rather than that role. Stars and satellite-like forms distinguish the slide, while angular bands give the grip a more geometric treatment. The combination suits players who enjoy intricate patterns with several details to notice across the weapon. Tan and muted orange provide warm accents for a loadout built around darker navy tones. Buyers can choose a regular copy or a Souvenir edition without looking for an unavailable kill-counter version. When comparing listings, the exterior, exact float, and edition help distinguish copies that share the same Space Race design.

History and Origin

P2000 | Space Race was released on September 21, 2021. It arrived as part of the Operation Riptide update, establishing the skin's original release context. The skin belongs to The 2021 Train Collection, which also provides the inputs for its collection-specific trade-up route. Valve created the design, rather than a community designer. Its flavor text connects sending and receiving, echoing the satellite imagery used in the artwork. Today, existing copies can be bought on the Steam Community Market or obtained through player-to-player trades. Trade Up Contracts provide another acquisition route, but their random Restricted result does not guarantee a Space Race.

Finish Style

Space Race uses an Anodized Airbrushed finish with space-themed artwork covering the slide and frame. Dark navy contrasts with areas of tan, muted orange, and pale cream, giving the design both cool and warm tones. Small stars and satellite-like shapes appear across the slide alongside densely arranged dotted grids. Fine stripes and halftone-style dots add visual texture, creating a layered graphic surface rather than a simple block of color. The grip is mostly tan and orange, with dark angular lines and bands cutting across those warmer sections. These geometric divisions give the grip a different visual rhythm from the scattered space motifs on the slide. The trigger, muzzle opening, sights, and magazine base remain mostly gray or dark metallic. Together, the patterned body and restrained mechanical details produce a busy space-themed design with clearly defined areas of contrast.

Float Value

P2000 | Space Race has a float value range of 0.00 to 0.60. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred. Regular and Souvenir versions exist, but there is no StatTrak version; edition availability is separate from a copy's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

Space Race has Restricted rarity within The 2021 Train Collection. Its listed collection probability is 3.21%, approximately 1 in 31 outcomes. That collection probability does not guarantee a Trade Up Contract result, which is random among the collection's Restricted skins.

Why it’s Popular:

• Stars and satellite motifs give the pistol a clear space theme

• Warm orange and tan contrast with dark navy artwork

• Layered stripes and dotted grids reward close inspection

• Regular and Souvenir options offer different collecting choices

Price Range

The live P2000 | Space Race price range is $4.30 to $45.00. These bounds cover the whole skin, rather than a particular exterior or edition. Check the exact float alongside the exterior label when comparing regular and Souvenir copies. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, match those listing details before deciding where to buy. The live range is a comparison aid, not evidence that every available version sells at either endpoint.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract can use 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The 2021 Train Collection to produce 1 Restricted skin from that collection. Space Race is a possible result, but the selection is random among the collection's Restricted skins. This route therefore cannot guarantee the desired pistol finish.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

P2000 | Space Race can be bought on the Steam Community Market by choosing from the listings available at purchase time. Check the exterior and regular or Souvenir designation rather than assuming every listing represents the same version.

4. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trading offers a way to obtain an existing Space Race through an exchange agreed upon by both players. Before accepting, confirm the item name, exterior, float, and whether the offered copy is regular or Souvenir.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Buy, sell, and trade decisions should distinguish regular copies from Souvenir versions and compare exterior and exact float. Restricted rarity and collection membership describe the item, but do not establish how quickly a listing will sell. Supply trends and demand strength remain uncertain, so the displayed price alone is not a sound basis for expecting a successful short-term flip.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Distinctive space-themed artwork

• Restricted rarity within The 2021 Train Collection

• Valve-created design

• Souvenir availability adds a collecting option

The investment rating is medium, supported by its Restricted grade, distinctive Valve-made artwork, and regular and Souvenir options. The main risk is uncertain demand and supply behavior, so its current price should not be treated as evidence of future returns.
