P2000 | Corticera

P2000 | Corticera is a CS2 pistol skin featuring a colorful tree motif across its slide. Yellow-green, olive, and orange shapes contrast with a mostly dark blue-gray frame and grip. Its botanical styling suits players who prefer detailed artwork above an understated base. Factory New, Minimal Wear, and Field-Tested copies are available, alongside StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

P2000 | Corticera is a Custom Paint Job skin for the Counter-Terrorist P2000 pistol in CS2. The weapon offers a controlled, accurate option for opening-round encounters against opponents without armor. The finish replaces a plain slide with organic shapes inspired by a corticera tree. Yellow-green, olive, and orange detailing gives the upper half a varied palette with warm accents. A largely solid-colored lower frame keeps that visual complexity concentrated on the slide. The combination suits players seeking a nature-themed sidearm with a dark, understated base. Buyers can choose standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir versions rather than a single format. Comparing the exterior, float value, and inspection image helps separate condition preferences from the appeal of the design.

History and Origin

P2000 | Corticera was released on July 10, 2014, with the eSports 2014 Summer Case. Its arrival accompanied the update named "eSports 2014 Summer Case Skins". Valve created the finish rather than a community designer. The pistol belongs to The eSports 2014 Summer Collection, connecting its collection identity with its original case release. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. The eSports 2014 Summer Case no longer drops, so fresh case drops no longer replenish its supply. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened for a chance at the skin. Today, direct purchases, player trades, and eligible trade-up contracts provide alternatives to opening its original case.

Finish Style

The Custom Paint Job uses a corticera tree motif as the main decorative element. Yellow-green, olive green, and orange cover the patterned slide in separate areas of color. Dark branching lines divide those areas and give the artwork its structure. Curved, leaf-like shapes overlap with dense intersecting lines across most of the slide. Together, these details create a busy botanical surface rather than a simple stripe or flat color. The frame, trigger guard, and grip remain mostly dark blue-gray. Lighter metallic highlights along their edges define the outlines beneath the colorful upper section. Fine dots texture the grip, which also has a plain inset panel near its base. The contrast between the intricate slide and restrained lower half is central to the finish's visual character.

Float Value

The P2000 | Corticera float value ranges from 0.06 to 0.30. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, and Field-Tested, with no Well-Worn or Battle-Scarred copies. StatTrak and Souvenir versions also exist, making the version a separate consideration from the skin's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

P2000 | Corticera has Classified rarity within The eSports 2014 Summer Collection. Its case-opening chance is 0.8%, or about 1 in 125 openings of the eSports 2014 Summer Case. Professional owners include mixwell, karrigan, and Hiko, although ownership alone does not establish current buyer demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Botanical artwork with yellow-green, olive, and orange accents

• Detailed slide balanced by a restrained dark frame

• StatTrak and Souvenir options for different collecting preferences

• Documented ownership by mixwell, karrigan, and Hiko

Price Range

The live P2000 | Corticera price range is $13.84 to $1,099.99. These bounds cover the skin as a whole rather than a particular exterior or version. Compare Factory New, Minimal Wear, and Field-Tested listings separately, checking the float value within each exterior. Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir copies should also be distinguished when evaluating an asking price. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, match those details and inspect the actual copy rather than choosing by the finish name alone.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the eSports 2014 Summer Case

Open the eSports 2014 Summer Case for a chance to obtain this pistol. The case no longer drops, but existing cases remain available to buy on the market and open. Corticera has a 0.8% chance from the case, so opening one does not guarantee the desired skin.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract can use 10 Restricted skins from The eSports 2014 Summer Collection. It produces 1 Classified skin from that collection, with Corticera among the possible results. The outcome is random, so the contract does not guarantee this pistol.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy the P2000 | Corticera directly through a Steam Community Market listing instead of relying on a random result. Check the exterior and version, then inspect the copy's float and appearance before selecting a listing.

5. Trade with Other Players

The skin can also be obtained through trades with other players. Before exchanging items, inspect the pistol's exterior and float value, and confirm whether the offered copy is standard, StatTrak, or Souvenir.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Its case no longer receives new drops, although existing cases and trade-up contracts can still produce the skin. Professional ownership gives the finish some visibility, but does not establish current demand or predictable resale speed. Compare exterior, float, and version before deciding to buy, sell, or trade, since limited pricing coverage leaves broader market trends uncertain.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired case supply receives no new drops

• Classified rarity with limited case-opening odds

• Documented ownership by mixwell, karrigan, and Hiko

• StatTrak and Souvenir options for collectors

• Distinctive corticera tree artwork

The editorial investment rating is medium, balancing retired case supply, Classified rarity, and professional ownership against limited market evidence. The main risk is uncertain resale demand across its available variants, so its collecting appeal should not be treated as a promise of appreciation.
