Short Description

The P2000 | Gnarled is a CS2 pistol skin for the Counter-Terrorist side, featuring a twisted alien across the slide and grip. Muted salmon-red, teal, and black give its artwork a dense, unsettling character. It suits players who prefer creature designs over plain finishes. All exteriors are available, alongside StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

The P2000 | Gnarled gives the Counter-Terrorist pistol a hand-painted creature design presented in a Patina finish. Its alien figure connects the slide and grip rather than appearing as an isolated emblem. Branching lines and dark outlines keep the artwork visually busy across the painted surfaces. The salmon-red slide contrasts with a grip dominated by dark teal and black. A largely plain lower frame gives the dense artwork a quieter backdrop. The underlying P2000 is an accurate, controllable first-round pistol suited to unarmored opponents. This finish fits players building a muted CS2 loadout who still want an expressive pistol design. Collectors can choose regular, StatTrak, or Souvenir versions while retaining the central alien theme. Buyers should compare the listing image, exterior, and float value rather than relying on the finish name alone.

History and Origin

P2000 | Gnarled was released on August 6, 2020, alongside the Fracture Case. Its arrival was part of the Fracture Case Skins update. Steam Workshop community designer 3stia created the finish. The skin belongs to The Fracture Collection, linking its collection identity to that case release. Its in-game flavor text reinforces the alien artwork with imagery of darkness and limitless space. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, ending new Fracture Case drops. Existing cases remain available to buy on the market and open, so retirement did not remove the opening route. Today, buyers can also obtain an existing skin through the Steam Community Market or a trade with another player.

Finish Style

Gnarled uses the Patina finish style with a hand-painted alien illustration as its central feature. The slide has a muted salmon-red base beneath teal and black artwork. Tangled, branching lines and dark outlines make the creature appear twisted across the weapon. The figure extends along the slide and down onto the grip, connecting the painted areas. A pale pink muzzle face adds a lighter color at the front. The grip is mostly dark teal and black, with small reddish accents embedded in the creature design. Dark gray covers much of the trigger, trigger guard, and lower frame. Bright metallic highlights appear along the front and at the base of the grip. The contrast between densely painted surfaces and the comparatively plain frame gives the design a clear visual structure.

Float Value

The P2000 | Gnarled float value ranges from 0.00 to 1.00. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, with none of these exterior categories excluded. StatTrak and Souvenir versions are also supported, but version availability is separate from a particular copy's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

P2000 | Gnarled has the Mil-Spec Grade rarity classification. Its chance of appearing from a Fracture Case opening is 11.42%, so opening the case does not ensure this specific result. Professional players f0rest, tarik, and Zeus own the skin, providing examples of ownership without establishing wider market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Twisted alien artwork spanning the slide and grip

• Muted salmon-red, teal, and black color combination

• All exteriors available for different condition preferences

• StatTrak and Souvenir options for collectors

Price Range

The live P2000 | Gnarled price range is $0.03 to $25.00. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a fixed exterior or version. Its low-priced market position makes it an accessible option for buyers focused on the artwork. Compare exterior, exact float, and regular, StatTrak, or Souvenir status when checking individual CS2 skin listings. Before a buy or sell decision, inspect the copy itself rather than treating the overall range as a valuation for every listing.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Fracture Case

Open the Fracture Case for an 11.42% chance of receiving P2000 | Gnarled. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened. This route offers a chance at the skin rather than a guaranteed result.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy an existing P2000 | Gnarled listing on the Steam Community Market to select the skin directly. Check the listed exterior and version, then compare the float and appearance of the copy where those details are available.

4. Trade with Other Players

Trade with another player who owns P2000 | Gnarled to obtain an existing copy. Confirm the exterior, float, and version before accepting, since a shared finish name does not make different listings interchangeable.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retired case drops limit new Fracture Case supply, but opening existing cases can still add copies of this skin. Trading volume and price trends are uncertain, so professional ownership alone should not be treated as proof of resale demand. Compare matching exteriors, floats, and versions when evaluating buy, sell, or trade offers.

Reasons it Holds Value

• No new Fracture Case drops

• Ownership by professional players

• Distinctive hand-painted alien artwork

• StatTrak and Souvenir collecting options

• Low-priced entry for cosmetic buyers

P2000 | Gnarled earns a medium investment rating based on retired case drops, professional ownership, and its low-priced market position. These factors support consideration as a modest cosmetic holding, not a prediction of rapid appreciation. The main risk is continued skin supply from existing cases while future demand and resale speed remain uncertain.
