XM1014 | Irezumi

XM1014 | Irezumi is a CS2 shotgun skin with intricate snake artwork over a muted gold base. Dark mechanical parts contrast with its decorated receiver and stock panels. The Japanese tattoo-inspired look suits players who prefer detailed illustration and restrained gold accents. It comes in Factory New through Battle-Scarred exteriors, with standard, StatTrak™, and Souvenir versions available.

Description

XM1014 | Irezumi outfits the fully automatic XM1014 shotgun in CS2's Heavy weapon category. Its Gunsmith finish combines a gold-colored base with custom-painted artwork inspired by Japanese tattoo art. The receiver carries dense illustrated detail, while darker mechanical parts give the decorated panels a clear visual boundary. Smaller areas on the fore-end and stock extend the artwork along the weapon without covering every component. The design suits gold-accented loadouts and players who favor illustration over a uniform surface treatment. Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir versions offer different ownership options without changing the finish's underlying theme. Listing images are useful for checking how the artwork appears on a particular copy rather than choosing from an exterior label alone. Before deciding to buy, sell, or trade, compare the version, exterior, and exact float so that different configurations are not treated as interchangeable.

History and Origin

XM1014 | Irezumi was released on February 6, 2024, alongside the Kilowatt Case. Its introduction was part of the "First Actual CS2 Skins" update. Madara, a Steam Workshop community designer, created the finish. The skin belongs to The Kilowatt Collection, while the Kilowatt Case is its case-opening route. Its artistic reference is Japanese Irezumi tattooing, expressed through the snake motif and decorative linework. The accompanying flavor text links snakes with wisdom and prophecy, connecting the artwork's theme to XM1014 users. As of October 9, 2026, the Kilowatt Case is in the Weekly Care Package drop pool, allowing new copies to enter the market. Current acquisition options include opening that case, buying an existing listing, or arranging a trade with another player.

Finish Style

The Gunsmith finish builds its visual identity around illustrated gold panels and comparatively plain dark hardware. Muted gold covers the receiver and stock panels, providing a warm background for the artwork. Dark snake imagery forms the central motif, with curling decorative lines adding detail across the painted areas. The receiver has a dense pattern, while smaller decorated sections appear on the fore-end and stock. Black or dark gray dominates the barrel, ribbed fore-end sections, trigger guard, and stock frame. Pale gold accents appear on the front tube cap and the bands beneath the barrel. The ribbed pistol grip also carries pale gold, extending the palette beyond the main illustrated panels. Together, these placements balance busy tattoo-inspired artwork with the shotgun's relatively unadorned mechanical components.

Float Value

The XM1014 | Irezumi float value ranges from 0.00 to 0.799353. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred. StatTrak and Souvenir versions are also available, but those labels identify the version rather than its cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

XM1014 | Irezumi has Mil-Spec Grade rarity. Its chance of appearing from the Kilowatt Case is 11.42%, so a case opening offers a chance rather than a guaranteed result. Documented professional owners include olofmeister, s1mple, and dupreeh, showing player use without establishing broader market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Detailed snake artwork inspired by Japanese tattoo art

• Muted gold panels contrasted with dark mechanical parts

• Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir options

• Exterior choices from Factory New through Battle-Scarred

Price Range

The live XM1014 | Irezumi price range is $0.03 to $2.99. These bounds cover the whole item rather than fixing a price for any particular exterior or version. Compare exterior labels alongside exact floats and images when assessing individual listings. Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir versions should be checked separately because version and exterior describe different aspects of the item. Before buying or selling, match those details rather than assuming the lowest displayed offer represents the desired configuration.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Kilowatt Case

Open the Kilowatt Case for a chance to obtain XM1014 | Irezumi. Its listed case-opening chance is 11.42%, so this route does not guarantee the skin. The case's weekly drop-pool status supports continued supply, rather than a fixed stock of unopened cases.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

XM1014 | Irezumi can be bought directly through listings on the Steam Community Market. Check the exterior, float, and version before purchasing a specific copy; choosing an existing listing avoids the uncertain result of opening a case.

4. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trading provides another route to obtaining an existing copy of the skin. Confirm the offered item's name, exterior, float, and version before accepting, especially when comparing a standard copy with StatTrak or Souvenir alternatives.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The Kilowatt Case's weekly drop-pool status means new copies continue entering the market, limiting the argument for a scarcity-driven purchase. Professional ownership shows player use, but future demand and resale speed remain uncertain. Practical trading comparisons should separate standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir listings, then match exterior and float rather than assuming their prices move together.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Distinctive snake artwork over muted gold panels

• Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir collecting options

• Documented ownership by professional players

XM1014 | Irezumi receives a medium-to-poor investment rating because its accessible price level and continuing case supply offer limited support for scarcity-based appreciation. The detailed finish and professional ownership support its appeal as a play skin, but ongoing new supply is the main investment risk.
