Short Description

The P250 | Red Rock is a CS2 pistol skin with blocky camouflage across its slide, frame and grip. Orange and muted yellow patches mix with brown and dark gray-green, while a red grip emblem adds contrast. Its warm, detailed look suits players who prefer colorful camouflage over a uniform finish. The skin spans Factory New through Battle-Scarred, with StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions also available.

Description

P250 | Red Rock brings a warm camouflage finish to the P250 pistol in CS2. The underlying weapon combines low recoil with a fast firing rate and offers a relatively inexpensive option against armored opponents. Its color scheme balances bright orange and muted yellow with darker brown and gray-green areas. The camouflage continues across the slide, frame and grip, giving the main surfaces a connected appearance. A circular red emblem on the grip provides a distinct focal point within the stepped patches. The finish suits players building a warm-colored loadout or looking for detailed geometric camouflage. Professional players RUSH and drop own the skin, adding professional ownership to its profile. Buyers can compare exterior condition, exact float value and standard, StatTrak or Souvenir versions when choosing a copy.

History and Origin

P250 | Red Rock debuted in CS:GO on May 23, 2017, alongside the Operation Hydra Case. Its release formed part of the Operation Hydra update. Ayden created the finish as a Steam Workshop community designer. The skin belongs to The Operation Hydra Collection, connecting its collection identity to its original case. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. As of October 9, 2026, the Operation Hydra Case no longer drops, meaning no new cases enter circulation through that route. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened, preserving access to the original case-opening method. Today, marketplace purchases, player trades and eligible collection trade-up contracts provide other ways to obtain the pistol.

Finish Style

Red Rock uses a Custom Paint Job finish built around a DDPAT camouflage design. Orange and muted yellow supply the warm colors, with brown and dark gray-green patches mixed throughout. The slide, frame and grip all carry the pattern, keeping the pistol's main surfaces visually connected. Small squares and stepped shapes give the camouflage its blocky, pixel-like character. Pale yellow outlines follow several edges, adding lighter boundaries within the busy arrangement. Dark rear slide serrations create vertical stripes, while closely spaced pale ribs run horizontally across the front of the grip. A red circular grip emblem contains a pale, star-like symbol that stands apart from the surrounding camouflage. The trigger, muzzle openings and several controls remain dark, contrasting with the patterned body.

Float Value

P250 | Red Rock has a float value range of 0.00 to 1.00. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, so no exterior category is missing. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions are available; version choice is separate from the float and exterior condition of an individual copy.

Rarity and Popularity

P250 | Red Rock is Restricted, a rarity classification separate from its exterior condition. Its chance of appearing from the Operation Hydra Case is 3.2%, or about 1 in 31 drops. Professional ownership includes RUSH and drop, while existing cases, eligible trade-ups and market listings remain acquisition routes.

Why it’s Popular:

• Warm orange-and-yellow camouflage with darker contrasting patches

• Detailed block pattern across the slide, frame and grip

• Distinctive red emblem on the grip

• StatTrak and Souvenir options alongside standard copies

Price Range

The live P250 | Red Rock price range is $10.14 to $62.64. These bounds cover the whole skin rather than identifying a particular exterior or version. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, match the exterior and inspect the exact float value of each listing. Compare standard, StatTrak and Souvenir offers separately rather than assuming their prices are interchangeable. Check the item preview alongside the asking price when selecting a copy to buy or preparing one to sell.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Operation Hydra Case

Open the Operation Hydra Case for a chance to receive P250 | Red Rock. The skin has a 3.2% chance of appearing, so opening a case does not guarantee it. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought and opened.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A trade-up contract uses 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The Operation Hydra Collection to produce 1 Restricted skin from that collection. Red Rock is a possible result, but the output is random among the collection's Restricted skins.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy P250 | Red Rock on the Steam Community Market by selecting a listed copy instead of relying on a random case result. Compare the exterior, float value and version before choosing an offer that matches the intended purchase.

5. Trade with Other Players

Obtain the skin through a player-to-player trade by arranging an exchange with someone who owns a copy. Inspect its exterior, float and version, then compare those details with the items being offered before accepting the trade.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The retired Operation Hydra Case receives no new drops, but remaining cases and collection trade-ups can still produce Red Rock copies. Ownership by RUSH and drop is a concrete point of interest, not proof of broad demand or easy resale. Buyers and sellers should compare available versions carefully, since sustained price growth and future resale demand remain uncertain.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired case origin with no new case drops

• Professional ownership by RUSH and drop

• StatTrak and Souvenir options for different collecting preferences

• Distinctive orange-and-yellow DDPAT camouflage

P250 | Red Rock receives a medium investment rating. Its retired case origin, distinctive finish and professional ownership provide reasons to consider holding it, without establishing a sustained price trend. The main risk is uncertain resale demand while existing cases and trade-up contracts can continue adding copies.
