Short Description

P250 | Asiimov is a CS2 pistol skin with a geometric sci-fi finish. Off-white panels, charcoal-black sections and bright orange accents create a technical, high-contrast look. It suits players who prefer angular designs with both large color blocks and smaller details. Available options include Minimal Wear through Battle-Scarred, plus StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

P250 | Asiimov is a CS2 pistol skin that applies a geometric sci-fi design to the P250. The weapon combines low recoil with a high rate of fire and is a relatively inexpensive option against armored opponents. Its Custom Paint Job centers on off-white panels, charcoal-black sections and bright orange accents rather than a single flat color. Large blocks of color give the slide and frame structure, while small stencil-like details add a technical character. The look suits players who want a busy, futuristic pistol finish with clearly separated light and dark areas. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions give buyers different options within the same finish. Available exteriors run from Minimal Wear to Battle-Scarred, offering a choice of cosmetic conditions. Before choosing a copy, compare its exterior, float value and version, then inspect how its condition looks in the listing.

History and Origin

P250 | Asiimov was released on April 27, 2016, in the Chroma 3 Case Skins update. It arrived with the Chroma 3 Case, which remains its case-opening acquisition route. Steam Workshop community designer Coridium created the finish, giving it a community-designed origin. The skin belongs to The Chroma 3 Collection, which also determines its collection-specific Trade Up Contract route. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, ending new Chroma 3 Case drops. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened, despite that retirement. Today, Trade Up Contracts offer another randomized route using Restricted skins from the same collection. Buyers can also obtain an existing copy directly through marketplaces or player-to-player trades instead of pursuing a random result.

Finish Style

The Asiimov finish uses a Custom Paint Job to give the P250 a geometric sci-fi appearance. Off-white panels cover parts of the slide and frame, contrasting with broad charcoal-black sections. Bright orange outlines the lower muzzle opening and crosses the front of the slide diagonally. Another orange accent runs down the side of the grip, connecting the palette across the pistol. Thin pale lines and angular borders separate the dark panels on the slide. Orange triangular markings and small stencil-like symbols add finer detail to the frame. The trigger guard, trigger and textured front of the grip remain dark gray to black. Together, the large color blocks and smaller technical markings create a fairly busy finish with a defined visual structure.

Float Value

P250 | Asiimov has an exact float range of 0.10 to 1.00. Its available exteriors are Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, with no Factory New version. StatTrak and Souvenir versions are also available, but version choice is separate from the cosmetic condition described by exterior and float.

Rarity and Popularity

P250 | Asiimov has the Classified rarity grade. Its stated chance from the Chroma 3 Case is 1.07%, so opening a case does not reliably deliver this particular finish. Professional players kennyS, apEX and shox have owned the skin, providing concrete ownership examples without establishing broader market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Off-white, charcoal and orange create a high-contrast pistol

• Angular sci-fi panels paired with small technical markings

• StatTrak and Souvenir options broaden the available choices

• Owned by professional players kennyS, apEX and shox

Price Range

The live P250 | Asiimov price range is $9.98 to $97.72. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a fixed exterior or version. Exterior and float value help distinguish condition, so compare individual copies rather than relying only on the range. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions should also be checked separately when assessing a listing. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, match the version and exterior first, then review the float and visible condition before buying.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Chroma 3 Case

Opening the Chroma 3 Case can produce P250 | Asiimov, with a stated chance of 1.07%. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened. This route offers a random outcome rather than a direct purchase of the pistol.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract can exchange 10 Restricted skins from The Chroma 3 Collection for 1 Classified skin from that collection. The result is random among the collection's Classified skins, so P250 | Asiimov is a possible outcome rather than a guaranteed one.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

P250 | Asiimov can be bought directly on the Steam Community Market. Compare the listed exterior and version rather than treating every copy as interchangeable. Buying a listed copy avoids the random outcome associated with case openings and Trade Up Contracts.

5. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trading is another route to an existing P250 | Asiimov. Check the exterior, float value and version of the offered pistol before agreeing to an exchange. This route depends on finding another player willing to trade a suitable copy.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retirement of the Chroma 3 Case limits new case supply, but existing cases can still produce more skins when opened. Professional ownership gives the finish visibility, though it does not establish how quickly a listing will sell. When buying, selling or trading, compare the exterior, float and supported version before judging an asking price.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired case supply receives no new drops

• Distinctive off-white, black and orange sci-fi finish

• Ownership by kennyS, apEX and shox

• StatTrak and Souvenir options broaden buyer choices

The editorial investment rating is medium-to-good, based on retired case supply, professional ownership and the finish's distinct visual identity. Existing cases can still add skins to circulation, and future demand remains uncertain. Those factors support a cautious holding outlook rather than a promise of profitable resale.
