About this skin

How is a skin affected by its quality?

Quality describes exterior condition associated with float value, not rarity. P250 | Cassette ranges from 0.00 to 0.60, so comparing the exact float and inspected appearance helps distinguish individual copies.

How does the rarity of a skin work?

Rarity identifies a skin's grade and helps describe its availability through case openings. P250 | Cassette is Mil-Spec Grade, with a stated 11.42% chance from the Fracture Case.

How much does P250 | Cassette cost?

P250 | Cassette ranges from $0.05 to $12.00. These bounds cover the whole skin; compare individual listings by exterior, float, and version.

Which case contains P250 | Cassette?

P250 | Cassette is contained in the Fracture Case. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened.

Which exteriors are available for P250 | Cassette?

P250 | Cassette comes in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred. Its float range is 0.00 to 0.60.

Does P250 | Cassette have StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions?

Yes, P250 | Cassette has both StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions, alongside the standard version. Check the version separately from the exterior and exact float when comparing copies.

Short Description

P250 | Cassette is a CS2 pistol skin with retro graphics drawn from 1990s videocassette boxes. Warm-colored stripes decorate a pale gray slide above a dark charcoal frame and grip. Its restrained layout suits players who prefer retro graphics without an all-over bright finish. Factory New through Battle-Scarred exteriors are available, alongside StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

P250 | Cassette brings cassette-packaging graphics to a CS2 pistol through a Custom Paint Job finish. The P250 combines low recoil and a high rate of fire as a relatively inexpensive weapon choice against armored opponents. This finish concentrates its colorful artwork on the slide rather than spreading it across the entire pistol. Orange, yellow, and red accents contrast with the gray slide and charcoal lower body. The layout gives the packaging reference a clear focal point while keeping much of the weapon visually subdued. It suits players building a retro-themed inventory or looking for warm accents on an otherwise neutral pistol. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir options allow buyers to consider more than appearance alone when choosing a copy. Individual listings are worth comparing by exterior, exact float value, and version before deciding which Cassette to buy.

History and Origin

P250 | Cassette was released on August 6, 2020, alongside the Fracture Case. Its introduction was part of the update named "Fracture Case Skins". Steam Workshop community designer Mishovy created the finish, giving the pistol its cassette-packaging theme. The skin belongs to The Fracture Collection, linking its collection identity to the case that introduced it. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. The Fracture Case no longer drops, so case-based acquisition now depends on stock already in circulation. Existing cases can still be purchased on the market and opened, despite the end of new case drops. Today, players can also obtain the finished skin through the Steam Community Market or trades with other players.

Finish Style

The Custom Paint Job draws its visual theme from the printed packaging associated with video cassettes in the 1990s. A pale gray slide provides a neutral background for the colored graphics. Its darker upper edge and light muzzle face introduce tonal separation without expanding the bright palette. Thin orange, yellow, and red lines extend along the side of the slide. Near the rear, those narrow stripes broaden into stacked bands that give the packaging motif its strongest emphasis. Small light-colored lettering and dark vertical marks add compact graphic details within the striped area. Below the slide, the frame and trigger guard stay charcoal, keeping the colorful treatment concentrated above them. The dark grip includes fine grid-like texture and horizontal grooves along its front edge, adding detail to the otherwise restrained lower section.

Float Value

P250 | Cassette has a float range of 0.00 to 0.60. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, so none of these exterior categories is excluded. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions are available, but version availability is separate from the cosmetic condition represented by an individual copy's float.

Rarity and Popularity

P250 | Cassette is a Mil-Spec Grade pistol skin from The Fracture Collection. Its stated chance from a Fracture Case opening is 11.42%. Documented professional owners include GuardiaN, olofmeister, and s1mple, although ownership alone does not establish current market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Retro cassette-packaging graphics with a restrained layout

• Warm stripes contrast clearly with the gray slide

• Dark frame keeps the colorful artwork focused

• StatTrak and Souvenir options broaden the available choices

Price Range

The live P250 | Cassette price range is $0.05 to $12.00. It occupies an inexpensive price level, making it relevant to budget-focused buyers considering a themed pistol. Compare exterior and exact float together rather than treating every copy within an exterior as interchangeable. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions should be checked separately instead of assumed to share a price. When comparing CS2 skin listings to buy or sell, match the finish, version, and condition before evaluating the asking price.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Fracture Case

Opening a Fracture Case gives players an 11.42% chance of receiving P250 | Cassette. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought and opened. Opening a case offers a chance at the skin rather than a choice of a specific copy.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Players can buy P250 | Cassette directly on the Steam Community Market instead of relying on a case opening. Check the exterior and version associated with the listing, then inspect the offered copy when its exact float matters to the purchase.

4. Trade with Other Players

P250 | Cassette can also be acquired through trades with other players. Compare the offered copy's exterior, float, and version with the agreed item before accepting, especially when choosing between standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir options.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Fracture Case retirement ends new case drops, but existing stock can still produce additional Cassette skins through openings. Buyers and sellers should compare the available versions and exact floats rather than treating the finish as a single uniform trading item. Professional ownership offers a recognition signal, not proof of future demand, price growth, or quick resale.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired case supply with no new drops

• Documented professional-player ownership

• Distinct cassette-packaging artwork

• StatTrak and Souvenir options

The investment outlook is medium, supported by retired case supply, documented professional ownership, and an inexpensive entry level. Its Mil-Spec Grade rarity and continued availability through existing case openings temper the scarcity argument. The main risk is treating case retirement as evidence of rising demand or future price gains.
