Short Description

★ Falchion Knife | Rust Coat is a CS2 knife skin with a Patina finish and a curved, clip-point blade. Mottled blue-gray metal and orange-brown rust give the blade and handle a weathered, industrial appearance. The look suits players who prefer textured metal over decorative artwork or bright graphics. It comes in Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred exteriors, with regular and StatTrak™ versions available.

Description

★ Falchion Knife | Rust Coat brings a deliberately corroded appearance to the Falchion Knife in CS2. The weapon's curved cutting edge and clip-point profile reflect its modern interpretation of a falchion sword. Rust-colored patches interrupt the blue-gray metal, creating an uneven finish across the blade and rear handle section. A darker pivot plate and bright metal fasteners add contrasting details around the joint between those sections. With no decorative artwork or prominent text, the skin puts its metal texture and weapon shape at the center of the design. Its muted palette suits players building a weathered or industrial-looking inventory rather than a brightly colored loadout. Regular and StatTrak versions offer a choice between the finish alone and a version with kill tracking. Buyers can compare the exterior, exact float value and version before deciding which available copy best matches their preferences.

History and Origin

★ Falchion Knife | Rust Coat entered CS:GO on March 15, 2017, alongside the Spectrum Case. Its release formed part of the Spectrum Case Skins update. Valve created the finish rather than a community designer. The finish's background presents the rusted weapon as a keepsake from Siege that remains operational despite its appearance. Today, both the Spectrum Case and Spectrum 2 Case provide a case-opening route to this knife. Both cases stopped dropping when Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. Existing cases can still be bought and opened, so their retirement did not remove that acquisition route. Marketplace purchases and player trades also allow buyers to acquire an existing knife without opening either case.

Finish Style

Rust Coat uses a Patina finish built around mottled metal and irregular patches of corrosion. The blade face combines blue-gray and brown areas with orange-brown rust distributed unevenly across its surface. Similar patchy coloration continues onto the rear handle section, connecting its appearance with the blade. Darker areas gather around the finger grooves and the lower end of the handle. At the blade pivot, a dark gray plate contrasts with the rusted surfaces and carries bright metal fasteners. Thin silver-gray edges outline parts of the blade and handle, while an elongated dark slot remains visible near the handle's end. The overall texture is uneven, with no decorative artwork or prominent lettering competing with the corrosion pattern. Together, these details create a weathered appearance that keeps the curved blade, metal hardware and handle construction visually distinct.

Float Value

The float value of ★ Falchion Knife | Rust Coat ranges from 0.40 to 1.00. Its only available exteriors are Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. Regular and StatTrak versions are supported, but there is no Souvenir version; the version is a separate choice from the knife's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

★ Falchion Knife | Rust Coat has the Covert rarity grade. The chance of obtaining this specific skin from the Spectrum Case is 0.0085%. Its source cases no longer receive new drops, although remaining cases can still produce the knife and existing copies remain obtainable through purchases or trades.

Why it’s Popular:

• Orange-brown rust gives the curved blade a distinctive weathered character

• Muted metal colors suit industrial-looking loadouts

• Visible fasteners and silver-gray edges contrast with the corrosion

• StatTrak offers an alternative for players who want kill tracking

Price Range

The live ★ Falchion Knife | Rust Coat price range is $47.10 to $170.64. These bounds cover the whole skin rather than a fixed exterior or version. Compare Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred copies separately, checking the exact float instead of relying only on the exterior label. Regular and StatTrak listings should also be distinguished when comparing the CS2 skin price. Inspect each listing's item details and appearance before choosing a copy to buy or valuing one to sell.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

Opening a Spectrum Case or Spectrum 2 Case can produce this knife, but neither case receives new drops. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened. The chance of obtaining this skin from the Spectrum Case is 0.0085%, making an opening an uncertain acquisition route.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The Steam Community Market offers a direct purchase route that avoids the uncertain result of opening a case. Compare the available Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred listings, then check whether each copy is regular or StatTrak. Review the exact float and item details rather than treating every Rust Coat listing as interchangeable.

4. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trades provide another way to obtain ★ Falchion Knife | Rust Coat using an agreed exchange of items. Check the offered knife's exterior, float and StatTrak status before accepting. Keep the version and condition consistent when comparing the proposed trade with marketplace listings.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Neither source case receives new drops, but opening remaining cases can still add Rust Coat knives to circulation. Demand, resale speed and future price direction are uncertain, so retired case supply alone does not establish a profitable trade. Compare regular and StatTrak copies within the same exterior, then inspect their individual floats before setting a buy or sell price.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired source cases receive no new drops

• Distinctive Valve-created finish with a weathered metal identity

• Regular and StatTrak options appeal to different player preferences

The investment rating is medium, balancing retired source-case drops against uncertainty about demand and future prices. Existing cases can still produce additional knives, so discontinued drops do not make the skin's supply fixed. Its visual appeal supports a preference-led purchase, but the evidence does not establish reliable short-term returns.
