Falchion Knife | Lore

★ Falchion Knife | Lore is a CS2 knife skin pairing a bright gold blade with an olive-green handle. Interwoven knotwork follows the curved blade, giving the finish an ornate character without covering the handle in decoration. Its warm colors suit players who want a decorative knife with contrasting, restrained hardware. Standard and StatTrak™ versions are available across the listed exterior options.

Description

★ Falchion Knife | Lore brings a decorative Custom Paint Job finish to the Falchion Knife in CS2. The weapon's clip-point blade and curved cutting edge give the gold artwork a distinctive outline. Knotwork runs along the lower blade, while a pale edge separates the cutting surface from the decorated face. Olive-green handle panels contrast with the blade rather than extending its gold color across the entire knife. Dark metal around the pivot and handle borders adds a subdued frame to the brighter finish. The combination suits players who prefer warm colors and intricate decoration over a plain blade. Buyers can choose an exterior that matches their condition preferences and decide whether they want the separate StatTrak version. For anyone looking to buy, sell or trade the knife, exact float and version are useful listing details to compare.

History and Origin

★ Falchion Knife | Lore was released on September 21, 2021, with the Operation Riptide update. Its debut container was the Operation Riptide Case, establishing that case as the finish's original acquisition route. Valve created the skin rather than a community designer. The Dreams & Nightmares Case also contains this finish, providing another case-opening route. As of October 9, 2026, the Operation Riptide Case no longer drops following the rare drop pool's retirement on December 17, 2025. Existing Operation Riptide Cases can still be bought and opened, so retirement does not make that acquisition route unavailable. The Dreams & Nightmares Case remains in the Weekly Care Package drop pool as of October 9, 2026. Direct purchases and player trades offer alternatives for obtaining an existing knife without relying on a case-opening result.

Finish Style

The Custom Paint Job finish combines a bright gold blade with a comparatively plain olive-green handle. Subtle mottling breaks up the blade's gold surface while leaving that color dominant. A pale strip follows the cutting edge, separating it visually from the decorated blade face. Interwoven knotwork occupies the lower portion of the blade and follows its curve toward the tip. This ornament gives the weapon a detailed, decorative character rather than an unpatterned metal appearance. Fine diagonal texture covers the green handle panels, adding smaller-scale detail away from the blade. Dark gray metal borders the handle and surrounds the pivot, accompanied by visible silver screws. A dark inset near the butt completes the restrained handle, keeping the ornate blade as the main visual focus.

Float Value

The float value range for ★ Falchion Knife | Lore is 0.00 to 0.65. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, covering every listed condition category. StatTrak versions are available; this version distinction is separate from the cosmetic condition described by the exterior.

Rarity and Popularity

★ Falchion Knife | Lore has the Covert rarity grade. Opening the Operation Riptide Case has a 0.0085% chance of yielding this specific skin, rather than that figure describing every possible knife result. Documented professional owners include Zeus, rallen and degster, providing an ownership reference without establishing broad market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Bright gold blade with interwoven knotwork

• Olive-green handle balances the ornate blade

• Choice of standard and StatTrak versions

• Factory New through Battle-Scarred exterior options

Price Range

The live price range for ★ Falchion Knife | Lore is $76.97 to $1,000.00. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a fixed exterior or version. The exterior label groups condition, while the exact float helps distinguish copies within that group. Standard and StatTrak versions should be compared separately rather than treated as interchangeable listings. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, check the current asking price alongside these details before choosing a copy to buy.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

Open an Operation Riptide Case or Dreams & Nightmares Case for a chance at this knife. Neither route guarantees the Lore finish; the Operation Riptide Case chance for this specific skin is 0.0085%. Retired Operation Riptide Cases can still be bought and opened.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Search for ★ Falchion Knife | Lore on the Steam Community Market and compare individual listings by exterior and version. Buying a listed copy targets the finish directly, unlike opening a case, so check its exact float where that detail is available.

4. Trade with Other Players

The skin can also be obtained through a player-to-player trade rather than a case opening or market purchase. Check the offered knife's exterior, float and StatTrak status before agreeing, especially when comparing it with a copy already listed for sale.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Supply is mixed: Operation Riptide no longer drops, while Dreams & Nightmares remains in the Weekly Care Package pool as of October 9, 2026. Professional ownership provides a point of interest, but it does not establish broad demand, price growth or quick resale. Compare exterior, exact float and StatTrak status before deciding which copy to buy, sell or trade.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Distinctive gold blade and knotwork decoration

• Documented professional ownership

• Standard and StatTrak options for different preferences

• Valve-created Lore finish

The investment rating is medium, reflecting its distinctive finish and professional ownership alongside continued access to new copies through Dreams & Nightmares case openings. Its main risk is ongoing supply, which weakens a scarcity-only buying argument. This supports a cautious outlook rather than a promise of rising resale prices.
