Falchion Knife | Fade

★ Falchion Knife | Fade is a CS2 knife skin with a glossy, multicolored blade and a gray handle. Its colors move from purple at the tip through pink and red into orange and gold near the handle. The clean design suits players who want bright color without lettering or illustrated motifs. Factory New and Minimal Wear copies are available in standard and StatTrak™ versions.

Description

★ Falchion Knife | Fade applies a colorful metallic finish to the Falchion Knife in CS2. The weapon's clip point and curved cutting edge give the gradient a clearly defined shape. Its blade combines purple, pink, red, orange, and gold, while the handle provides a restrained gray contrast. Transparent paint over chrome creates a glossy surface rather than an opaque graphic design. A narrow silver cutting edge and reflective handle borders frame the colored blade. The look suits bright loadouts, particularly when the blade's color is intended to stand apart from the neutral handle. Standard and StatTrak versions provide separate buying options within the same finish. Buyers should compare each listing's image, exterior, and exact float value before choosing a copy, rather than relying on the finish name alone.

History and Origin

★ Falchion Knife | Fade arrived on May 26, 2015, with the Falchion Case. Its release was part of the Operation Bloodhound update. Valve created the skin, so its origin is not attributed to a community designer. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, changing the source of new Falchion Cases. As of October 9, 2026, the Falchion Case no longer drops, and no new cases enter through that route. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened, keeping the original case-opening method available despite that retirement. Today, buyers can also obtain an existing knife through the Steam Community Market or a player-to-player trade without opening a case.

Finish Style

Fade uses the Anodized Airbrushed finish style, with transparent colors applied over a chrome base coat. This combination gives the blade a glossy metallic appearance while allowing the colors to blend together. Purple covers the pointed tip before transitioning through pink and red toward orange and gold near the handle. Broad, angular bands of shading follow the blade's curved shape and add structure to the gradient. A thin silver cutting edge separates the colorful blade surface from its outer contour. The gray handle has reflective silver borders that continue the metallic character without repeating the blade's colors. Visible screws and a dark inset near the handle's lower end add mechanical detail to the otherwise restrained grip. With no visible lettering or illustrated motifs, the overall design focuses on color, shading, and the knife's curved silhouette.

Float Value

The float value of ★ Falchion Knife | Fade ranges from 0.00 to 0.08. It is available in Factory New and Minimal Wear, with no Field-Tested, Well-Worn, or Battle-Scarred exterior. Standard and StatTrak versions exist, but there is no Souvenir version; version choice is separate from cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

★ Falchion Knife | Fade has the Covert rarity grade. The chance of obtaining this specific skin from a Falchion Case is 0.02%. Despite its low case-opening chance, it remains obtainable through existing cases, marketplace purchases, and trades with other players.

Why it’s Popular:

• Purple-to-gold blade gradient with a glossy metallic surface

• Neutral gray handle balances the colorful blade

• Clean design without lettering or illustrated motifs

• Standard and StatTrak options in both available exteriors

Price Range

The live ★ Falchion Knife | Fade price range is $170.30 to $681.28. Those bounds cover the whole skin and are not fixed prices for any particular exterior or version. Individual listings can differ by Factory New or Minimal Wear condition, exact float value, and whether the knife has StatTrak. Compare the CS2 skin price against the listing details and image before choosing which copy to buy. For a sell or trade decision, check current offers for the relevant version instead of treating the overall range as an individual valuation.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Falchion Case

Open a Falchion Case for a chance at this finish, with a 0.02% chance of obtaining the skin. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be purchased on the market and opened. An opening does not guarantee a Fade, while buying an existing copy avoids the uncertain result.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The Steam Community Market provides a direct purchase route for existing copies of the knife. Check whether a listing is standard or StatTrak, then confirm its Factory New or Minimal Wear exterior. Compare the exact float and visible finish details before selecting a listing.

4. Trade with Other Players

A player-to-player trade can exchange other items for an existing ★ Falchion Knife | Fade. Confirm the knife's exterior, float value, and standard or StatTrak version before agreeing to the swap. This route transfers an existing copy rather than relying on a Falchion Case opening.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Opening existing Falchion Cases reduces their remaining supply, but those openings can still add knives to circulation. Evidence of demand and price history is limited, so a strong short-term trading forecast is not supported. Buy, sell, and trade decisions should compare float, exterior, and StatTrak status rather than relying on the finish name.

Reasons it Holds Value

• No new Falchion Cases enter through drops

• Low chance of opening this specific finish

• Distinctive multicolor finish over a chrome base

• Standard and StatTrak versions broaden buying options

The investment rating is medium, supported by retired case supply and the low chance of opening this finish. Evidence of sustained demand and price performance remains limited. Existing cases can still add knives to circulation, so restricted case supply does not guarantee higher resale prices.
