American Classics Expands the Garage With Six New Vehicles
The headline addition is the American Classics DLC, a premium vehicle pack that introduces six original American-inspired cars to the game. The lineup ranges from classic muscle cars to modern performance vehicles, giving players additional options for drifting, cruising, and customization across the game’s open world.
The DLC includes the Ironvale Hauler F84, Ironvale Stallion 2024, Roebuck Striker, Roebuck Jetstream 1959, Roebuck Reaver 1969, and the modern Roebuck Reaver 2024. Each vehicle has been designed to complement the game’s handling model while offering different driving characteristics and tuning possibilities.
Alongside the paid expansion, Gaming Factory has released two iconic Nissan models as a free update for all players. The 1996 Nissan 180SX Type X and the 1994 Nissan 180SX (RPS13) join the existing licensed vehicle roster, further expanding the selection of authentic Japanese performance cars available in-game.
The additions build on one of JDM: Japanese Drift Master’s core strengths: recreating Japanese automotive culture through licensed vehicles, extensive tuning systems, and driving mechanics inspired by real-world drifting. Players can customise their cars through visual modifications, performance upgrades, suspension tuning, and detailed setup adjustments before taking to the roads.
More Updates are Planned for JDM: Japanese Drift Master
Set in the fictional Guntama Prefecture, JDM: Japanese Drift Master combines an open-world driving experience with a story inspired by Japanese street racing culture. Players explore more than 250 kilometres of roads featuring mountain passes, rural highways, towns, and urban districts, with changing weather and a dynamic day-night cycle helping shape each drive.
Outside of racing events, players can complete story missions, tackle drift and grip challenges, earn reputation, and build a collection of licensed vehicles while learning more about the game’s cast of characters. The combination of exploration, progression, and deep vehicle customization remains central to the experience.
Looking ahead, Gaming Factory confirmed that multiplayer support will continue to expand following its soft launch. A full multiplayer update is planned for July and will introduce map-based events where players can compete against one another across the open world.
The studio also confirmed that a new side story campaign is currently in development. While further details have yet to be announced, the additional narrative content will continue expanding the world of JDM: Japanese Drift Master alongside future gameplay updates following the release of the American Classics DLC.
