How to Activate a Steam Gift (Official Steam Link)

The item you received is a Steam gift, and it needs to be activated through your Steam account. Please follow the steps below:

1. Sign in to your Steam account using a web browser, Google Chrome is the best option.
2. Make sure your profile and inventory visibility are set to Public.
3. If Steam Family Sharing is turned on, please disable it temporarily.
4. Open the gift URL you purchased in the same browser where you are logged into your Steam account. When the Steam window appears, choose Accept Gift.

Additional important information:

•  A Steam account can only claim one copy of the same gift. If two links contain the same game, only one can be redeemed; the other will be rejected by Steam.
• Avoid declining the gift.
