About this skin

How is a skin affected by its quality?

Quality, or exterior, describes cosmetic condition and is linked to float value. Winterized spans 0.00 to 1.00, with Factory New through Battle-Scarred options; inspect the individual copy to judge its appearance.

How does the rarity of a skin work?

Rarity identifies a skin's grade, separate from its exterior. Winterized is Mil-Spec Grade and has an 11.42% chance of appearing from a Recoil Case opening.

How much does Glock-18 | Winterized cost?

Glock-18 | Winterized ranges from $0.05 to $30.00. Compare exterior, float and version in individual listings.

Which case contains Glock-18 | Winterized?

Glock-18 | Winterized comes from the Recoil Case and belongs to The Recoil Collection. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought and opened.

Does Glock-18 | Winterized have StatTrak and Souvenir versions?

Yes, Glock-18 | Winterized has both StatTrak and Souvenir versions alongside standard copies. Compare the version separately from exterior and float value.

Is Glock-18 | Winterized a good investment?

The editorial investment rating is medium-to-poor. Retired case status and professional ownership are positive factors, but inexpensive listings and uncertain resale demand limit the argument for holding it.

Short Description

The Glock-18 | Winterized is a CS2 pistol skin with muted military camouflage in a winter palette. A charcoal slide sits above pale cream, blue-gray and dark gray patches on the frame. The restrained design suits players who prefer subdued equipment colors. It comes in every exterior, with standard, StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions available.

Description

The Glock-18 | Winterized brings winter camouflage to the Terrorist-side pistol, concentrating its pattern below the slide. The weapon is suited to first-round encounters against unarmored opponents. It can also fire three-round bursts. The Gunsmith finish pairs a mostly charcoal slide with a custom-painted frame, creating contrast between the pistol's main components. Pale cream patches provide light accents, while blue-gray and dark gray shapes keep the camouflage muted. Olive markings along the slide introduce another subdued color without overwhelming the winter palette. This look fits a restrained loadout built around neutral colors rather than bright decoration. Buyers can compare exterior, float value and version when choosing a copy to use or trade.

History and Origin

Winterized debuted on July 1, 2022, with the Recoil Case in the Recoil Case Skins update. The finish was created by hexeth, a Steam Workshop community designer. It belongs to The Recoil Collection, connecting it with the case's item lineup. Its visual theme adapts military camouflage to a winter color palette. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. As of October 9, 2026, the Recoil Case no longer drops, so new case drops do not replenish its stock. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened for a chance at the skin. Direct purchases and player trades also offer ways to obtain existing copies today.

Finish Style

The Gunsmith finish gives Winterized a military-inspired appearance through restrained colors and contrasting surfaces. Most of the slide is dark charcoal, keeping the upper section visually subdued. Diagonal grooves and muted olive markings run along its side. The frame carries irregular camouflage patches in pale cream, blue-gray and dark gray. Most of the pattern sits beneath the slide rather than extending uniformly across the pistol. Dark gray grip panels have a coarse, pebbled texture bordered by cream patches. The muzzle face is gray, while the dark magazine base carries a small pale side marking. Together, these details create a practical-looking winter theme without relying on bright accents or illustrated graphics.

Float Value

The Glock-18 | Winterized has a float range of 0.00 to 1.00. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, covering the full exterior lineup. StatTrak and Souvenir versions are available alongside standard copies; version choice is separate from cosmetic condition and float value.

Rarity and Popularity

Winterized is a Mil-Spec Grade pistol skin in The Recoil Collection. Its chance of appearing from a Recoil Case opening is 11.42%, separate from its exterior or float value. Professional players who own the skin include flusha, kennyS and s1mple.

Why it’s Popular:

• Muted winter camouflage suits restrained loadouts

• Dark slide contrasts with the pale patterned frame

• Full exterior range accommodates different cosmetic preferences

• Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions provide additional choice

Price Range

The live Glock-18 | Winterized CS2 skin price range is $0.05 to $30.00. Cleaner standard exteriors can carry higher asking prices than more worn copies. Compare float value within the same exterior instead of assuming its label describes every visual detail. Check standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions separately when evaluating available listings. Before buying or selling, compare similar copies rather than treating either overall price bound as a fixed value for a particular variant.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Recoil Case

Open a Recoil Case for an 11.42% chance of receiving Glock-18 | Winterized, though the desired result is not assured. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

An existing copy can be purchased on the Steam Community Market without relying on a case opening. Compare the listing's exterior and version, then inspect the item to confirm its float value before buying.

4. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trades offer another route to an existing Winterized without opening the Recoil Case. Check the offered copy's exterior, float and version, and compare both sides of the exchange with current listings before accepting.

Trading and Investment Considerations

No new Recoil Case drops replenish case stock, although existing cases can still be opened to add skins to circulation. Professional ownership adds visibility, but low asking prices and the 11.42% case chance argue against treating the finish as scarce. Resale demand remains uncertain, so compare exterior, float and version before committing to a purchase or trade.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired case status limits replenishment through new case drops

• Owned by flusha, kennyS and s1mple

• Winter camouflage provides a distinct, restrained visual identity

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions offer different collecting options

The investment rating is medium-to-poor, despite the retired case and professional ownership. Its inexpensive price level and accessible case odds make a cosmetic purchase easier to justify than a scarcity-driven investment. The main risk is uncertain resale demand, especially while existing cases can still produce additional copies.
