Short Description

Glock-18 | Clear Polymer is a CS2 pistol skin with a tan slide, translucent frame, and bright blue accents. Internal shapes and brass-colored cartridges remain visible through the grip, giving the weapon a distinctive mechanical look. Its restrained colors suit players who prefer exposed components over elaborate artwork. All exteriors are available, alongside standard, StatTrak™, and Souvenir versions.

Description

Glock-18 | Clear Polymer is a cosmetic finish for the Terrorist-side pistol in CS2. The weapon is suited to opening-round encounters against unarmored opponents and supports burst firing. Its Gunsmith finish pairs a painted tan slide with a transparent-looking frame rather than covering the entire pistol in artwork. Visible internal shapes give the grip much of its detail, while blue accents interrupt the otherwise subdued palette. The opaque magazine base adds another contrasting surface beneath the clear grip. This look suits players building a neutral-colored loadout or seeking a pistol with exposed mechanical details. Professional owners include coldzera, FalleN, and s1mple, providing recognizable player associations without establishing a market trend. Buyers can compare exterior, float value, and version when choosing a copy for play, collecting, or trading.

History and Origin

Glock-18 | Clear Polymer debuted on May 3, 2021, alongside the Snakebite Case in the "Snakebite Case Skins" update. Strenson, a Steam Workshop community designer, created the finish. It belongs to The Snakebite Collection, connecting its collection identity with the case released alongside it. Case opening was its original acquisition route, with the result dependent on the case's item probabilities. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. As of October 9, 2026, the Snakebite Case no longer drops, so new drops do not replenish its case supply. Existing cases remain usable and can still be bought on the market and opened. Today, direct marketplace purchases and player-to-player trades provide alternatives to opening a case for this particular skin.

Finish Style

The Gunsmith finish combines painted surfaces with a clear polymer frame, making material contrast central to the design. A tan-brown slide forms the upper section without a large decorative pattern. Dark rear serrations and small recessed markings add detail to that otherwise restrained surface. The frame and grip appear translucent pale gray, allowing internal shapes to remain visible. A stack of brass-colored cartridges can be seen through the grip, supplying much of the finish's mechanical character. Bright blue appears on the trigger and small accents, including a ring at the muzzle. An opaque dark gray magazine base contrasts with the transparent-looking material immediately above it. Bright reflective edges outline the clear frame, while the mostly unpatterned surfaces keep attention on the visible components.

Float Value

Glock-18 | Clear Polymer has a float range of 0.00 to 1.00. It is available in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, with no exterior category excluded. Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir versions are available, but version choice is separate from the cosmetic condition described by the exterior and float.

Rarity and Popularity

Glock-18 | Clear Polymer carries the Mil-Spec Grade rarity classification. Opening the Snakebite Case gives an 11.42% chance of receiving this skin. Existing cases can still produce it despite the case's retired drop status, so retirement does not prevent additional copies from entering circulation.

Why it’s Popular:

• Translucent grip reveals internal shapes and brass-colored cartridges

• Tan surfaces and blue accents create a restrained contrast

• All exteriors allow a broad choice of cosmetic conditions

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions offer different collecting options

Price Range

The live Glock-18 | Clear Polymer price range is $0.25 to $35.00. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a fixed exterior or version. Its pricing includes modest entry-level options, while individual listings vary with their condition and version. Compare the exterior label with the actual float value rather than treating every copy in a category as identical. When checking CS2 skin prices, keep standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir listings separate and inspect the exact item before buying.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Snakebite Case

Open a Snakebite Case for an 11.42% chance of receiving Glock-18 | Clear Polymer. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened. This route does not guarantee the skin or a preferred exterior.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy Glock-18 | Clear Polymer on the Steam Community Market to select a listed copy rather than rely on a random case result. Check the exterior and version carefully, then inspect its float when comparing candidates for a particular cosmetic condition.

4. Trade with Other Players

Arrange a player-to-player trade with someone offering Glock-18 | Clear Polymer. Inspect the exact item's float, exterior, and version before accepting the exchange. Availability depends on finding another player offering the condition and version being sought.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The retired Snakebite Case receives no new drops, but opening existing cases can still increase the supply of this skin. Professional ownership provides recognizable associations, not proof of sustained buying demand. Future price direction remains uncertain, so compare exterior, float, and version before deciding to buy, sell, or trade.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired Snakebite Case receives no new drops

• Transparent frame gives the finish a distinct visual identity

• Owned by coldzera, FalleN, and s1mple

• StatTrak and Souvenir options broaden version choice

The editorial investment rating is medium: retired case supply and a distinctive finish provide holding appeal at a modest entry price. Its Mil-Spec Grade availability and continued openings of existing cases are the main risks, since skin supply can still grow. Professional ownership supports visibility, but it does not establish future demand or returns.
