Glock-18 | Death Rattle

Glock-18 | Death Rattle is a CS2 pistol skin with a Hydrographic snakeskin finish. Muted brown, olive and tan scales cover the weapon, giving it a densely patterned but understated appearance. The earthy palette suits players building camouflage-inspired or subdued loadouts. Standard and Souvenir versions are available, with no StatTrak™ option.

Description

Glock-18 | Death Rattle brings a snakeskin Hydrographic finish to the Terrorist-side pistol in CS2. Its scale pattern extends across the slide, frame and grip rather than focusing on a single decorative panel. Dark brown details and pale muzzle rims provide contrast without introducing bright accent colors. The combination suits players who prefer textured equipment over lettering or separate illustrated artwork. The Glock-18 itself is a first-round pistol suited to encounters with unarmored opponents. Its burst-fire capability remains part of the weapon beneath the cosmetic finish. Buyers can choose between standard copies and Souvenir versions according to their preference. Comparing the exterior, exact float value and visible finish helps narrow down which listing best matches a planned loadout.

History and Origin

Death Rattle was released on May 1, 2014. It arrived with The Bank Collection in the Huntsman Case Skins update. Valve created the finish rather than a community designer. Its collection identity is The Bank Collection, despite the case-themed name of the release update. The accompanying flavor text references The Shield and The Serpent Part 1, connecting Valeria with a threat of exposure. Today, marketplace listings offer a way to purchase existing standard and Souvenir copies. Player-to-player trading provides another route to ownership without relying on a random result. Trade Up Contracts can also produce this finish using Consumer Grade inputs from its collection.

Finish Style

Death Rattle uses a Hydrographic finish built around a dense snakeskin motif. Muted brown, olive and tan cover the slide, frame and grip. Small scale shapes form irregular light patches, bordered by darker brown areas that define the texture. The pattern wraps around the trigger guard instead of stopping at the main body panels. It also follows the finger grooves down the grip, visually connecting the upper and lower sections. The trigger, sights and magazine base have dark brown coloring. Pale metallic rims around the muzzle openings interrupt the otherwise earthy front end. No visible lettering or separate artwork breaks up the surface, leaving the scale pattern as the finish's defining feature.

Float Value

The float value of Glock-18 | Death Rattle ranges from 0.08 to 0.50. Available exteriors are Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. Souvenir versions are available; version availability should be checked separately from a copy's exterior condition.

Rarity and Popularity

Glock-18 | Death Rattle carries the Industrial Grade rarity designation. Its Bank Collection acquisition chance is 3.2%, about 1 in 31, which should not be treated as a Trade Up Contract guarantee. Documented professional owners include FalleN, f0rest and NEO, although ownership alone does not establish current market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Muted snakeskin styling suits earthy loadouts

• Pattern coverage connects the slide, frame and grip

• Souvenir versions offer an alternative to standard copies

• Documented ownership by FalleN, f0rest and NEO

Price Range

The live CS2 skin price range for Glock-18 | Death Rattle is $0.05 to $1.52. These bounds cover the whole item rather than fixed prices for particular exteriors or versions. Compare individual listings by exterior, exact float value and whether the copy is standard or Souvenir. A matching exterior label does not replace checking the specific float of the copy being sold. For a buy, sell or trade decision, use current listing prices instead of assuming every Death Rattle copy has the same valuation.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract using 10 Consumer Grade skins from The Bank Collection produces 1 Industrial Grade skin from that collection. Death Rattle is a possible result, not a guaranteed selection. The outcome is random among the collection's Industrial Grade skins.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The Steam Community Market offers a direct purchase route for Glock-18 | Death Rattle. Check the listing's exterior and version carefully, since standard and Souvenir copies are distinct options with their own asking prices.

4. Trade with Other Players

Existing copies can be obtained through trades with other players. Confirm the offered item's float, exterior and Souvenir status before agreeing to an exchange, rather than relying on the finish name alone.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Death Rattle's low price level positions it as a budget play skin rather than an established scarcity-led holding. Professional ownership provides evidence of player use, but does not demonstrate strong resale demand or a long-term price trend. When comparing trade opportunities, separate standard and Souvenir listings and check their exteriors and floats; a supply constraint has not been established.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Low entry cost for a playable pistol skin

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Souvenir option for version-focused buyers

• Valve-created finish from The Bank Collection

The investment rating is medium-to-poor: its low price level and documented professional ownership offer context, but neither proves sustained trading demand. No established supply constraint or long-term price trend supports a stronger assessment. The main risk is uncertain resale interest, making appearance a clearer reason to buy than an expectation of returns.
