Short Description

The Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon is a CS2 pistol skin featuring pale dragon artwork on a dark gray slide and purple grip. Its metallic frame keeps the design restrained while the etched illustrations supply the detail. The look suits players who favor ornate artwork and a subdued palette. It comes in Factory New through Battle-Scarred, with standard, StatTrak™, and Souvenir options.

Description

Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon gives the powerful CS2 pistol a detailed dragon-themed finish. The Desert Eagle combines demanding handling with strong long-range accuracy, making it a weapon that takes practice to master. This design places its main illustration along the slide, with a separate dragon decorating the grip. Pale artwork contrasts with dark gray and deep purple surfaces without covering every part of the weapon. The mostly plain metallic frame gives the illustrated sections room to stand out. Its appearance suits loadouts built around muted colors, metallic surfaces, or detailed animal motifs. Hyper, Zeus, and ScreaM have owned the skin, giving it a documented connection to professional players. Buyers can choose among its exteriors and available versions, then compare individual floats and condition before selecting a copy.

History and Origin

Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon was released on February 17, 2016, with the Operation Wildfire update. It arrived in the Operation Wildfire Case and belongs to The Wildfire Collection. The Honey Badger created the skin as a Steam Workshop community designer. The design centers on laser-etched dragons rather than a color-only treatment of the pistol. Its flavor text features Huxley expressing admiration for Yukako's work. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, ending new Operation Wildfire Case drops. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened, preserving that acquisition route despite the retirement. Direct purchases, player trades, and Trade Up Contracts provide other ways to obtain the skin today.

Finish Style

Kumicho Dragon uses the Patina finish style, with dragon artwork laser-etched onto the slide and grip. The dark gray slide provides a muted background for a pale silver dragon spanning most of its side. A large horned head and curling whiskers form a detailed focal point within the illustration. Claws and a long scaled body extend the artwork across the slide instead of confining it to a small emblem. The deep purple grip panel carries a smaller pale dragon winding vertically down its surface. Metallic gray covers the frame, trigger guard, and front of the grip, keeping those areas visually restrained. The sights and trigger are dark, adding contrast without introducing another strong color. Dense illustration against a mostly plain frame gives the pistol an ornate but balanced appearance.

Float Value

The Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon float value ranges from 0.00 to 0.76. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, so none of those exterior categories is excluded. Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir versions are available, with version choice remaining separate from the cosmetic condition described by float and exterior.

Rarity and Popularity

Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon has Classified rarity. Its chance of appearing from the Operation Wildfire Case is 1.07%, making a case opening an uncertain acquisition route. The case no longer drops, but existing cases remain usable, so retired case status does not make the skin unobtainable.

Why it’s Popular:

• Detailed silver dragon artwork across the slide

• Deep purple grip with a separate dragon illustration

• Restrained metallic frame balances the ornate design

• StatTrak and Souvenir options broaden collecting choices

Price Range

The live Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon price range is $13.44 to $126.33. Factory New and StatTrak options can carry higher asking prices than worn standard copies. Within an exterior, compare the exact float and inspect the artwork rather than choosing by the condition label alone. Souvenir availability adds another version distinction, so it should be checked separately when comparing offers. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, match the exterior and version before deciding which listing to buy.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Operation Wildfire Case

Open the Operation Wildfire Case for a chance at Kumicho Dragon, with a probability of 1.07%. Although the case no longer drops, existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract using 10 Restricted skins from The Wildfire Collection produces 1 Classified skin from that collection. Kumicho Dragon is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Classified skins.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon directly on the Steam Community Market rather than relying on a random case result. Check the listing's exterior and whether it is a standard, StatTrak, or Souvenir version.

5. Trade with Other Players

The skin can also be obtained through trades with other players. Confirm the exact item, exterior, float, and version before accepting, especially when exchanging items with different condition labels.

Trading and Investment Considerations

With no new Operation Wildfire Cases dropping, unopened case supply shrinks as remaining cases are used. Professional ownership supports visibility, but it does not establish current demand, resale speed, or a dependable price trend. Before buying to sell or trade, compare standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir versions separately and account for float differences.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired case supply limits fresh case availability

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Distinctive dragon artwork with purple and silver accents

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions provide collecting options

The editorial investment rating is medium-to-good, supported by retired case supply, distinctive artwork, and documented professional ownership. Case openings and Trade Up Contracts can still create copies, while uncertain future demand remains the main risk to resale value.
