Classic Knife | Scorched

★ Classic Knife | Scorched is a CS2 knife skin with a dark gray blade and soft patches of lighter gray and muted beige. Its bright cutting edge contrasts with the subdued spray-painted finish and textured handle. The look suits players building gray or earth-toned loadouts rather than brightly colored setups. All exterior grades are available, with standard and StatTrak™ versions to compare.

Description

★ Classic Knife | Scorched applies the Scorched finish to the Classic Knife in CS2. Broad, uneven patches give the blade a dappled appearance without covering it in intricate graphics. A curved silver cutting edge and short spine serrations provide clear visual details against the darker blade. The weapon's construction pairs a tightly fitted Stellite edge with titanium across the blade's cheek and spine. Its handle combines fossilized mastodon ivory with a carbon-fiber pocket, while the visible grip has a dense crosshatched texture. The restrained palette suits players who prefer muted equipment colors and a clear contrast between blade and handle. StatTrak is an available alternative to the standard version. Buyers can compare the exterior, exact float value and version when choosing a particular listing.

History and Origin

The knife was released on October 18, 2019, alongside the CS20 Case. Its introduction formed part of the "CS20 Case Skins" update. Valve created the skin, rather than a community designer. The accompanying flavor text presents the Phoenix as an image of rebirth instead of destruction. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, ending new CS20 Case drops. That change concerns case availability, not the ability to open cases already held by players. Existing CS20 Cases can still be bought on the market and opened for a chance at this finish. The finished knife can also be purchased on the Steam Community Market or acquired through player-to-player trades.

Finish Style

Scorched uses a Spray-Paint finish with a pattern resembling patches of sunlight breaking across a dark surface. Dark gray covers most of the blade, interrupted by broad areas of lighter gray and muted beige. The patches have soft boundaries, giving the blade a less sharply defined pattern than the grip's texture. A bright silver edge follows the curved cutting side and separates it visually from the painted blade face. Short serrations sit on the spine near the guard, adding another visible detail to the blade's profile. The gray guard has lighter highlights along its edges, continuing the neutral palette between blade and handle. Dense crosshatching covers the grip, where dark gray mixes with pale gray and tan patches. Small round fasteners and a circular hole at the handle tip remain visible within this more detailed handle treatment.

Float Value

The float value range for ★ Classic Knife | Scorched is 0.06 to 0.80. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, so no exterior grade is missing. Standard and StatTrak versions are available; version availability is separate from the knife's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

★ Classic Knife | Scorched has the Covert rarity grade. Its chance of being obtained from the CS20 Case is 0.02%, making a case opening an uncertain acquisition route. Professional player svyat owns the skin, although that ownership alone does not establish broad demand or resale speed.

Why it’s Popular:

• Muted gray and beige colors suit understated loadouts

• Bright cutting edge contrasts with the dark blade

• Textured grip adds detail beside the simpler blade pattern

• Standard and StatTrak versions offer different ownership options

Price Range

The live CS2 skin price range for ★ Classic Knife | Scorched is $64.86 to $5,000.00. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a specific exterior or version. Exterior and StatTrak status can substantially affect asking prices, so individual listings need their own comparison. Check the exact float within the chosen exterior rather than treating every copy in that category as equivalent. Compare matching versions and cosmetic conditions when deciding which listing to buy or how to price a copy for sale.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the CS20 Case

Open the CS20 Case for a chance to obtain this knife, with a listed probability of 0.02%. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened. Opening a case does not guarantee Scorched, so this route cannot secure a chosen exterior or version.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy the finished skin through the Steam Community Market instead of relying on a case opening. Compare the listed exterior and whether the item is standard or StatTrak before purchasing. Direct purchase allows selection of an available copy, but a particular condition or version depends on current listings.

4. Trade with Other Players

The knife can be acquired by trading with other players who already own a copy. Confirm the item name, exterior, exact float and StatTrak status before accepting an exchange. This route depends on finding an owner willing to agree to the proposed trade.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The CS20 Case has no new drops, but openings of existing cases can still add Scorched knives to circulation. Ownership by svyat provides professional visibility without proving sustained buying demand or easy resale. Anyone planning to buy, sell or trade should compare matching versions and floats, since trading volume and a reliable price trend are not established.

Reasons it Holds Value

• No new CS20 Case drops

• Ownership by professional player svyat

• Distinctive blade and textured grip

• Standard and StatTrak options

The editorial investment rating is medium, balancing retired case supply against limited evidence of sustained demand. Existing cases can still produce additional knives, and professional ownership does not establish a dependable resale market. The main risk is paying a version-specific premium that another buyer may not value equally.
