Short Description

★ Classic Knife | Crimson Web is a CS2 knife skin with a red blade crossed by dark spiderweb lines. A silver cutting edge and gray-black handle frame the patterned surface. Its detailed blade and restrained grip suit red-and-dark loadouts. Factory New through Battle-Scarred exteriors are available, with standard and StatTrak™ versions.

Description

★ Classic Knife | Crimson Web brings a red-and-black Hydrographic finish to the Classic Knife in CS2. The web-covered blade is the visual focus, contrasting with the mostly plain guard and handle. Its bright cutting edge gives the patterned surface a clear silver border. The underlying knife construction combines a fitted Stellite edge with titanium along the blade's cheek and spine. A carbon-fiber pocket holds the fossilized mastodon-ivory handle, which appears gray-black in the inventory image. This finish suits players who prefer intricate blade artwork without extending the red design across the grip. Standard and StatTrak versions provide different ownership options within the same visual theme. Buyers can compare the exterior, float value, version and actual blade image before choosing a copy.

History and Origin

★ Classic Knife | Crimson Web was released on October 18, 2019. It arrived with the CS20 Case in the "CS20 Case Skins" update. Valve created the skin, rather than a community designer. Its case availability changed when Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. As of October 9, 2026, the CS20 Case no longer drops. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened, so retirement has not removed the case-opening route. Players can also obtain existing knives through the Steam Community Market or player-to-player trades, separately from the original release.

Finish Style

Crimson Web uses a Hydrographic finish to place a spiderweb design over the blade's red base. Thin, dark lines spread from several radiating web centers across the visible surface. Their intersecting arrangement makes the blade visually busy while keeping the palette limited to red and dark accents. A semi-gloss topcoat gives the painted area a lightly reflective finish. The bright silver cutting edge follows the blade's curved lower side without carrying the web design. Small serrations sit along the spine close to the handle. A dark gray guard separates the blade from the gray-black grip, providing a quieter area of color. Dense diamond crosshatching, small circular details and a round hole near the handle's end add texture away from the blade.

Float Value

The float value of ★ Classic Knife | Crimson Web ranges from 0.06 to 0.80. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. Standard and StatTrak versions are available; version choice is separate from the knife's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

★ Classic Knife | Crimson Web has the Covert rarity grade. Its chance of being obtained from the CS20 Case is 0.02%, making case opening an uncertain acquisition route. Professional players fer, GruBy and yel are known to own the skin, providing documented ownership without establishing broader market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Red blade with intricate dark spiderweb detailing

• Silver cutting edge contrasts with the patterned surface

• Muted handle suits red-and-dark loadouts

• Standard and StatTrak versions across all available exteriors

Price Range

The live ★ Classic Knife | Crimson Web price range is $121.57 to $1,790.22. These bounds cover the whole skin rather than a fixed exterior or version. Compare Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred listings by their individual float values. Standard and StatTrak copies should also be checked separately, without assuming that either version carries a fixed price relationship. When comparing CS2 skin prices, inspect the blade image alongside the listing details to decide which copy best matches the intended loadout.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy ★ Classic Knife | Crimson Web on the Steam Community Market by choosing a listing for the desired exterior and version. Check the float value and item image before committing, especially when comparing standard and StatTrak copies.

4. Trade with Other Players

Trading and Investment Considerations

The retired CS20 Case drop route means no new cases replenish supply, although existing cases can still produce additional knives. Ownership by fer, GruBy and yel provides professional visibility, but does not establish how quickly a listing will sell. Compare exteriors and versions individually before choosing to buy, sell or trade, since a sustained price trend is not established.

Reasons it Holds Value

• No new CS20 Case drops

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Distinct red blade and dark web design

• Standard and StatTrak options across all available exteriors

The editorial investment outlook is medium-to-good, supported by retired case drops, documented professional ownership and the finish's distinctive appearance. These factors do not establish a reliable resale trend or promise returns. The main risk is uncertain demand while existing CS20 Cases can still add knives to the market.
