Short Description

USP-S | Monster Mashup is a CS2 pistol skin for the Counter-Terrorist side, built around a colorful green monster design. Urban-art motifs cover the weapon, while its long silencer carries a pearlescent blue-green finish. The busy illustration suits players who prefer bold, character-focused artwork to a restrained pistol. It offers Factory New through Battle-Scarred exteriors, alongside StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

USP-S | Monster Mashup gives the Counter-Terrorist silenced pistol a Custom Paint Job centered on monster imagery and urban-art icons. Its illustrated creature and layered graphics make the finish more about character than a simple color treatment. The weapon's detachable silencer reduces recoil and shot noise, while the skin gives that attachment its own pearlescent surface. Lime green, yellow, teal and dark blue form the main palette, with black outlines separating the illustrated elements. The design suits players building a colorful loadout or choosing a pistol with a distinct cartoon-like theme. Professional players s1mple, TaZ and seized have owned the skin, providing ownership context without establishing wider trading demand. Buyers can compare Factory New through Battle-Scarred copies, then check the individual float value rather than relying on exterior names alone. Regular, StatTrak and Souvenir versions provide additional buying choices, so comparisons should account for both condition and version.

History and Origin

USP-S | Monster Mashup arrived in CS:GO on December 3, 2020. It launched with the Operation Broken Fang update and the Operation Broken Fang Case. Nextgenz, a Steam Workshop community designer, created the finish. The skin belongs to The Operation Broken Fang Collection, linking its case origin with a collection-based acquisition route. That collection also supports trade-ups, although its Classified results are random rather than a guaranteed Monster Mashup. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, and the Operation Broken Fang Case no longer drops. Existing cases can still be purchased on the market and opened, so retirement did not remove that route to the pistol. Current acquisition also includes direct marketplace purchases and player trades, which offer alternatives to randomized case openings and contracts.

Finish Style

Monster Mashup uses a Custom Paint Job to combine creature artwork with a layered urban-art composition. Bright lime green, yellow, teal and dark blue shapes spread across the slide and frame. Heavy black borders separate the colors and give the painted graphics an illustrated appearance. White triangular teeth sit below the slide, accompanied by a red tongue-like accent near the trigger guard. On the grip, green monster imagery mixes with yellow and orange details over a blue-green patterned background. The extended silencer has a pearlescent blue-green surface carrying scattered graffiti-style symbols. Diagonal bands near the silencer's ends add another graphic element without replacing its pearlescent treatment. The mostly dark trigger guard and ribbed front grip contrast with the densely decorated areas, balancing the finish's busy visual character.

Float Value

The USP-S | Monster Mashup float value ranges from 0.00 to 0.70. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, covering all exterior categories. StatTrak and Souvenir versions also exist, but version availability is separate from the cosmetic condition represented by a copy's float and exterior.

Rarity and Popularity

USP-S | Monster Mashup has Classified rarity, a grade separate from its float value or exterior condition. Its chance from the Operation Broken Fang Case is 1.07%, or about 1 in 94 drops. Existing cases remain openable despite retirement, while buying a specific market listing avoids relying on that random case outcome.

Why it’s Popular:

• Bright monster artwork gives the pistol a character-focused look

• Pearlescent silencer adds a distinct visual treatment

• Layered urban-art graphics suit colorful loadouts

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions offer additional collecting options

Price Range

The live USP-S | Monster Mashup CS2 skin price ranges from $16.57 to $128.87. These bounds cover the whole item, not a specific exterior or version. Compare listings by exterior and float value, since a condition label alone does not identify a copy's exact float. Regular, StatTrak and Souvenir versions should be checked separately rather than treated as interchangeable listings. Before deciding to buy, sell or trade, match the version and inspect the weapon's appearance alongside its current asking price.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Operation Broken Fang Case

Open an existing Operation Broken Fang Case for a chance at this Classified pistol rather than a guaranteed result. The Monster Mashup outcome has a 1.07% chance. The case no longer drops, but existing copies can still be bought on the market and opened.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract uses 10 Restricted skins from The Operation Broken Fang Collection to produce 1 Classified skin from that collection. Monster Mashup is a possible outcome, but the result is random among the collection's Classified skins, so the contract cannot guarantee this finish.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy a USP-S | Monster Mashup listing on the Steam Community Market to select the skin directly. Check the exterior and version before comparing its asking price with other listings. Unlike opening a case, purchasing a specific listing allows the buyer to choose the finish rather than receive a random result.

5. Trade with Other Players

Obtain Monster Mashup through a player-to-player trade when another player offers a copy. Compare its exterior, exact float and version with the items being exchanged before accepting. Trading avoids a random case outcome, but finding a matching copy depends on what other players offer.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retirement means no new Operation Broken Fang Cases drop, although existing cases and eligible trade-up inputs still provide routes to additional copies. Professional ownership adds collector context, but it does not establish resale demand or a predictable selling time. A cautious trading approach compares current listings for matching exteriors and versions without assuming that case retirement guarantees price growth.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Case supply receives no new drops

• Professional ownership provides collector context

• Distinctive monster artwork and pearlescent silencer

• StatTrak and Souvenir collecting options

The investment outlook is medium, supported by the retired case source, distinctive artwork and professional ownership. Those features provide reasons to consider holding the pistol, but they do not establish a short-term trading opportunity. Its main risk is uncertain resale demand, and case retirement does not guarantee price growth.
