About this skin

How is a skin affected by its quality?

Quality refers to the skin's exterior condition, which is tied to its float value. Flashback spans 0.00 to 0.50 and is available in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How does the rarity of a skin work?

Rarity is an item's grade and helps distinguish case-opening outcomes. USP-S | Flashback is Restricted, with a 3.2% chance from the Danger Zone Case.

How much does USP-S | Flashback cost in CS2?

USP-S | Flashback ranges from $0.41 to $10.51. Compare individual listings by exterior, float and version.

Which case contains USP-S | Flashback?

USP-S | Flashback is in the Danger Zone Case and belongs to The Danger Zone Collection. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought and opened.

Does USP-S | Flashback have StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions?

Yes, USP-S | Flashback is available in both StatTrak and Souvenir versions. Check the listing's version separately from its exterior and float.

Is USP-S | Flashback a good investment?

USP-S | Flashback has a medium investment outlook. Retired case drops and professional ownership support interest, but uncertain demand and continued acquisition routes make future price gains uncertain.

Short Description

USP-S | Flashback is a CS2 pistol skin for the Counter-Terrorist side, featuring a rough, hand-painted design. Muted olive and brown colors frame pale lettering and a prominent peace symbol on the grip. Its earthy palette suits players who prefer busy artwork over a polished, uniform finish. All exteriors are available, alongside StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

USP-S | Flashback is a CS2 skin for the silenced Counter-Terrorist pistol, using the Custom Paint Job finish style. The weapon has a detachable suppressor that reduces recoil and firing noise. Its painted surface combines subdued military-style colors with large, contrasting markings across the pistol and suppressor. The peace symbol and clutch-themed lettering give the artwork distinct focal points rather than a single uninterrupted pattern. A mottled, scuffed-looking texture reinforces the deliberately rough character of the design. This finish suits olive-and-brown loadouts and players who enjoy visibly hand-painted details on their weapons. Buyers can choose standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions according to the type of item they want to own. When comparing copies, the exterior, exact float and pictured artwork help separate condition preferences from version preferences.

History and Origin

USP-S | Flashback was released on December 6, 2018, in the Danger Zone Case Skins update. Its release included the Danger Zone Case, which remains an acquisition route through existing unopened cases. The skin belongs to The Danger Zone Collection, linking its case origin with its Trade Up Contract availability. Superior Weapons created the finish as a Steam Workshop community designer. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, ending new Danger Zone Case drops. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened, so retirement did not remove the case-opening route. Finished copies can also be acquired today through the Steam Community Market or trades with other players.

Finish Style

Flashback uses a Custom Paint Job to create the appearance of markings applied by hand. Muted olive green, brown and dark gray cover most of the pistol and its suppressor. The surface has a mottled, scuffed-looking texture that forms part of the artwork's rough visual character. Large off-white lettering stretches along the suppressor, making that attachment a prominent part of the design. A boxed clutch-themed slogan occupies the slide, with smaller pale markings placed nearby. The dark, textured grip carries a large off-white peace symbol that contrasts with the surrounding colors. The trigger guard and front of the grip remain mostly plain gray-green, providing quieter areas within the busy composition. Peaceful imagery alongside competitive wording expresses the finish's theme of contrasting sides of human behavior.

Float Value

The USP-S | Flashback float value ranges from 0.00 to 0.50. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, so none of these exterior categories is missing. StatTrak and Souvenir versions are also available; version availability is separate from the cosmetic condition identified by exterior and float.

Rarity and Popularity

USP-S | Flashback has the Restricted rarity grade. Opening the Danger Zone Case gives a 3.2% chance of obtaining this skin, so choosing the correct case does not guarantee the result. Professional players tenzki, Mercury and es3tag own the finish, providing supported ownership examples without establishing broader market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Muted olive and brown colors suit earthy loadouts

• Large peace symbol gives the grip a clear focal point

• Hand-painted lettering creates a deliberately rough visual style

• StatTrak and Souvenir options accommodate different collecting preferences

Price Range

The live USP-S | Flashback price range is $0.41 to $10.51. Exterior and exact float are useful comparison points when deciding which condition fits the buyer's preferences. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions should be compared separately rather than assumed to share a price. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, match the exterior and version first, then inspect the float and visible finish details. Use individual listings when deciding what to buy, since the overall range is not a quote for any particular exterior or version.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Danger Zone Case

Open an existing Danger Zone Case for a chance at the Flashback finish. The case no longer drops, but unopened cases can still be bought and opened; the chance of obtaining this skin is 3.2%.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract can exchange 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The Danger Zone Collection for 1 Restricted skin from that collection. Flashback is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Restricted skins.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy a listed USP-S | Flashback directly on the Steam Community Market instead of relying on a random case opening or contract result. Check the exterior and version named in the listing, then compare its float where that information is available.

5. Trade with Other Players

Trade with another player for an existing copy of this pistol skin. Confirm the exact item, exterior, float and version before agreeing to the exchange, especially when evaluating copies with different condition labels.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The retired case has no new drops, although existing cases and Trade Up Contracts still offer routes to additional copies. Professional ownership shows the finish appears in established players' inventories, without proving how quickly listings will sell. Before a buy, sell or trade decision, compare exterior, exact float, version and current asking prices rather than assuming every copy has equal appeal.

Reasons it Holds Value

• No new Danger Zone Case drops

• Owned by tenzki, Mercury and es3tag

• Distinctive peace symbol and hand-painted lettering

• StatTrak and Souvenir collecting options

The investment outlook is medium, supported by retired case drops, professional ownership and a relatively inexpensive entry price. Trade Up Contracts and unopened cases can still add skins to circulation, so case retirement does not make finished copies a fixed supply. The main risk is uncertain demand and future price movement, rather than any assurance that restricted case supply will raise prices.
