How does the rarity of a skin work?

Short Description

CZ75-Auto | Tigris is a CS2 pistol skin with a glossy orange slide covered in irregular black tiger stripes. Its dark frame and warm-colored grip suit players who prefer animal patterns with strong color contrast. Every exterior is available, alongside StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

CZ75-Auto | Tigris brings a tiger-inspired Custom Paint Job to the fully automatic CZ75-Auto pistol in CS2. The weapon offers a short-term opportunity to take an opponent's weapon, but its limited magazine calls for careful trigger control. Visually, the finish centers on orange-and-black stripes rather than an evenly colored surface. A mostly charcoal frame gives the patterned slide and magazine room to stand out. The grip adds brown, orange, and yellow tones, extending the warm palette beyond the slide. This combination suits players who want a patterned sidearm without covering every component in bright paint. Buyers can choose a standard copy or compare the available StatTrak and Souvenir versions according to their preferences. When selecting a listing, the exterior and exact float value help distinguish individual copies within the same finish.

History and Origin

CZ75-Auto | Tigris entered CS:GO on July 1, 2014. It arrived in the Operation Breakout update through the Operation Breakout Weapon Case. Steam Workshop community designer L'grand created the finish. The skin belongs to The Breakout Collection, which also determines its collection-based Trade Up Contract route. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, and the Operation Breakout Weapon Case no longer drops. Existing cases remain available to buy on the market and open, preserving the original case-opening route without new case drops. Current buyers can also obtain the pistol directly through marketplace listings or exchanges with other players. Trade Up Contracts provide a separate acquisition method, producing a random Restricted result from eligible collection inputs rather than opening its original case.

Finish Style

Tigris uses a Custom Paint Job with a glossy surface and a tiger-stripe motif. Bright orange covers the slide, interrupted by irregular black stripes that give the upper portion its distinctive pattern. The barrel and most of the frame remain dark charcoal, creating a subdued base beneath the colorful slide. Orange accents around the muzzle and on small controls connect these darker components to the main palette. The grip panel transitions from dark brown near the top through orange to yellow at the bottom. The long magazine in front of the trigger guard carries orange and yellow stripes against a dark background. With patterning concentrated on the slide and magazine, these areas look busy while the surrounding frame stays mostly plain. The overall character comes from the contrast between warm colors, irregular striping, and the restrained dark structure of the pistol.

Float Value

CZ75-Auto | Tigris has a float range of 0.00 to 1.00, covering its full available cosmetic condition range. It comes in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, so no exterior tier is missing. StatTrak and Souvenir versions are also available, with version selection separate from the exterior and float of an individual copy.

Rarity and Popularity

CZ75-Auto | Tigris is a Restricted skin from The Breakout Collection. Its stated chance from the Operation Breakout Weapon Case is 4.0%, making an opening a random acquisition rather than a direct purchase. Documented professional owners include Xyp9x, byali, and adreN, although that ownership does not establish current market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Glossy orange-and-black tiger stripes give the pistol a distinctive look

• Dark frame balances the busy slide and magazine

• Warm grip gradient adds detail beyond the main pattern

• Every exterior plus StatTrak and Souvenir options

Price Range

The live CZ75-Auto | Tigris price range is $1.68 to $15.52. These bounds cover the skin as a whole, not a fixed exterior or version. Compare Factory New through Battle-Scarred listings separately, checking the exact float rather than relying only on the exterior label. Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir copies are distinct buying options and should not be treated as interchangeable listings. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, match the version and condition first, then inspect the appearance of the particular copy.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Operation Breakout Weapon Case

Open the Operation Breakout Weapon Case for a chance to receive Tigris, with a stated probability of 4.0%. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be purchased on the market and opened. This route does not let the buyer select the skin or its exterior in advance.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract can exchange 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The Breakout Collection for 1 Restricted skin from that collection. Tigris is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Restricted skins. Choose this route with the collection requirement and uncertain result in mind.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy CZ75-Auto | Tigris through a listing on the Steam Community Market. Check the listed exterior and whether the item is standard, StatTrak, or Souvenir before purchasing. Buying a specific listing avoids the random skin selection involved in opening its case.

5. Trade with Other Players

Tigris can be obtained through a trade with another player who owns a copy. Confirm the exact item, version, exterior, and float before accepting an exchange. Compare matching listings when assessing an offer instead of valuing every Tigris copy identically.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The case no longer drops, but existing cases and Trade Up Contracts can still add Tigris copies to circulation. Professional ownership supports visibility, not a guaranteed level of buyer demand or resale speed. Players looking to buy, sell, or trade should compare matching versions and exteriors while recognizing that long-term price direction remains uncertain.

Reasons it Holds Value

• No new Operation Breakout Weapon Case drops

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Distinctive glossy tiger-stripe design

• StatTrak and Souvenir options for collectors

The editorial investment rating is medium, balancing retired case supply with an accessible price level and documented professional ownership. The main risk is that existing cases and trade-ups can create more copies while future buyer demand remains uncertain. Its visual appeal supports a play-skin purchase, but that does not promise investment returns.
