Short Description

The CZ75-Auto | Pole Position is a CS2 pistol skin with a red-and-gray racing design and a Custom Paint Job finish. Checkerboard accents, pale panels, and a dark frame create a busy, graphic look suited to motorsport-themed loadouts. It is available from Factory New to Battle-Scarred, with StatTrak™ and Souvenir options alongside the standard version.

Description

The CZ75-Auto | Pole Position brings racing-inspired graphics to a fully automatic pistol in CS2. Its light gray slide contrasts with darker structural parts, keeping the painted details visually distinct. Red edging connects the slide, rear frame, grip, and forward-mounted magazine into a consistent color scheme. Checkerboard blocks recur across separate parts, giving the finish a patterned identity rather than a plain color treatment. The detailed magazine contrasts with the broader pale panels on the slide and upper grip. This combination suits players who prefer visible trim and graphic detail on their sidearm. The underlying weapon has limited magazine ammunition, making controlled firing important during use. Buyers can compare the exterior, exact float, and version to choose the appearance and item type they want.

History and Origin

Pole Position entered CS:GO on April 15, 2015. It arrived with the Chroma 2 Case in the Chroma 2 Case Skins update. Coridium created the finish as a Steam Workshop community designer. The item belongs to The Chroma 2 Collection, which also determines its eligible collection-based trade-up route. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, so the Chroma 2 Case no longer drops. Existing cases can still be purchased and opened, separating the end of new case drops from the skin's continued availability. Today, individual copies can be bought through marketplaces or obtained through player trades, while eligible trade-up contracts offer another possible route.

Finish Style

Pole Position uses the Custom Paint Job finish style to spread its red-and-gray racing graphics across the pistol. The slide is mostly light gray, edged in red, with a gray checkerboard near the muzzle. The muzzle extension shifts to dark gray, with black openings and curved red accents. A dark gray frame and trigger guard provide a contrasting base beneath the pale slide. Red trim follows the rear of the pistol and outlines the grip. The grip's upper panel is pale gray with a triangular emblem, while its lower section carries another checkerboard pattern. The forward-mounted magazine combines dark gray and pale gray sections with red stripes and checkerboard blocks. These repeated motifs make the design visually busy, with racing cues distributed across the weapon rather than confined to its slide.

Float Value

The CZ75-Auto | Pole Position float range runs from 0.00 to 0.70. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, so none of those condition grades is excluded. Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir versions exist, with version availability separate from the exterior condition and exact float of an individual copy.

Rarity and Popularity

Pole Position is Restricted, identifying its rarity grade rather than its cosmetic condition. It has a 4.0% chance from the Chroma 2 Case, although opening a case does not guarantee this result. Professional players coldzera, apEX, and adreN have owned the skin.

Why it’s Popular:

• Red-and-gray racing graphics with checkerboard accents

• Detailed magazine and contrasting pale slide panels

• Exterior choices from Factory New to Battle-Scarred

• StatTrak and Souvenir options for different collecting preferences

Price Range

The live CZ75-Auto | Pole Position price range is $1.08 to $40.00. These bounds cover the whole item, not a specific exterior or version. Its accessible price level makes condition and variant selection useful starting points when comparing CS2 skin listings. Check each listing's exterior and float, then distinguish standard copies from StatTrak and Souvenir versions. A matching exterior label alone does not establish an equivalent asking price, so compare the individual item details before buying.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Chroma 2 Case

Open the Chroma 2 Case for a chance to obtain Pole Position, with a stated probability of 4.0%. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract can exchange 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The Chroma 2 Collection for 1 Restricted skin from that collection. Pole Position is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Restricted skins.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy Pole Position on the Steam Community Market to select an existing copy rather than pursue a random case result. Review its exterior, float, and version before choosing a listing.

5. Trade with Other Players

Pole Position can be obtained through a player-to-player skin exchange. Check the offered item's exterior, float, and standard, StatTrak, or Souvenir status before accepting the trade.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The Chroma 2 Case receives no new drops, but existing cases and trade-up contracts remain potential sources of additional skins. Professional ownership provides visibility without establishing ongoing buyer demand or how quickly a copy will sell. Before deciding to buy, sell, or trade, compare exterior, float value, and version rather than treating every listing as interchangeable.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired case with no new drops

• Distinctive racing graphics and checkerboard detailing

• Documented ownership by professional players

• StatTrak and Souvenir collecting options

The editorial investment rating is medium, supported by retired case supply, professional ownership, and an accessible price level. Existing cases and trade-up contracts can still produce copies, so case retirement does not make the skin's supply fixed. The main risk is uncertain resale demand, without an established price trend to support a stronger outlook.
