Short Description

CZ75-Auto | Tacticat is a CS2 pistol skin combining bright pink and blue-purple paint with small feline decorations. White lettering and a paw print add playful details to its dark mechanical parts. The look suits colorful loadouts and players who prefer characterful designs over restrained finishes. It comes in every listed exterior, with standard, StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions available.

Description

CZ75-Auto | Tacticat gives the fully automatic CZ75-Auto pistol a colorful, cat-themed finish in CS2. The weapon's limited magazine capacity makes trigger discipline important despite its automatic firing capability. Pink and deep blue-purple sections establish the main palette, while white details provide contrast across the slide. Small feline decals and the grip's paw print make the theme visible without covering every surface in illustrations. Its combination of bold color blocks and compact decorations suits players building a playful pistol loadout. The dark grip and gray barrel preserve a mechanical appearance beneath the painted details. Buyers can choose among the available exterior conditions and decide whether a standard, StatTrak or Souvenir version fits their collection. Individual listings are worth comparing by float value, version and visible condition rather than by the finish name alone.

History and Origin

CZ75-Auto | Tacticat was released in CS:GO on September 14, 2017. Its introduction came through the Spectrum 2 Case Skins update. Guardian Gear created the design as a Steam Workshop community designer. The skin belongs to The Spectrum 2 Collection, which identifies its collection origin and trade-up route. Its original case source is the Spectrum 2 Case, which remains relevant for obtaining the finish through openings. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, and the Spectrum 2 Case no longer drops. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened, so retirement did not remove that acquisition route. Today, the finished skin can also be purchased, traded between players or obtained as a possible trade-up contract result.

Finish Style

The Tacticat uses a Gunsmith finish with hand-painted color and small feline decorations. Bright pink and deep blue-purple cover the slide and upper frame, creating clearly separated areas of color. Small white accents accompany stylized white lettering on the slide. Feline decals appear near the slide's front and along its pink rear section. The barrel remains dark gray, with circular openings that stand apart from the surrounding painted surfaces. A pink-and-white band near the muzzle brings the main color theme onto that darker component. The grip has a dark, finely textured surface rather than a broad pink panel. A pink paw print near its base and a blue-purple lower edge connect the grip to the upper paintwork. The long forward-mounted magazine has a mostly gray face with pink and blue-purple accents, balancing larger color blocks with smaller decorative touches.

Float Value

The CZ75-Auto | Tacticat float range runs from 0.00 to 0.70. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, covering the full listed selection of exterior labels. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions are available, but version choice is separate from an individual copy's float value and cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

CZ75-Auto | Tacticat has the Restricted rarity grade. Its chance of appearing from a Spectrum 2 Case opening is 3.2%, so opening the correct case does not assure this particular result. Documented professional owners include Snax, adreN and mixwell, providing ownership context without establishing future demand or resale performance.

Why it’s Popular:

• Bright pink and blue-purple colors suit colorful loadouts

• Feline decals and a paw print give the design character

• Dark mechanical parts balance the playful painted sections

• Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir options broaden collecting choices

Price Range

The live CZ75-Auto | Tacticat price range is $0.84 to $10.35. These bounds cover the whole skin rather than a fixed exterior or version. Exterior condition and float value help distinguish individual copies, so the overall range should not replace checking a specific listing. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions should also be identified separately when comparing offers. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, match the asking price to the exact version, exterior and visible finish before choosing where to buy or sell.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Spectrum 2 Case

Open a Spectrum 2 Case for a chance to obtain this skin. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be purchased on the market and opened. The Tacticat's opening chance is 3.2%, making a direct purchase the route that avoids a random result.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract can use 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The Spectrum 2 Collection to produce 1 Restricted skin from that collection. CZ75-Auto | Tacticat is a possible result, not a guaranteed outcome. The result is random among the collection's Restricted skins, so choosing the correct collection does not ensure this finish.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The Steam Community Market provides a direct purchase route for the finished skin. A listing lets buyers select a particular copy instead of relying on a random case opening or trade-up result. Check its exterior, float and version before comparing the offer with other available copies.

5. Trade with Other Players

CZ75-Auto | Tacticat can also be obtained by trading with another player. Confirm the exact item, exterior and whether the offered copy is standard, StatTrak or Souvenir. Compare its float and visible condition before agreeing on the items exchanged, rather than valuing every Tacticat copy identically.

Trading and Investment Considerations

With no new Spectrum 2 Case drops, case supply is limited to existing copies, although opening those cases can still add skins. Professional ownership gives the finish visibility, but future demand and resale speed remain uncertain. Before buying, selling or trading, compare the available exteriors and versions without assuming that discontinued case drops prevent additional skin supply.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired source case limits fresh case supply

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Distinctive feline theme and bright color palette

• Broad exterior and version selection for collectors

The Tacticat earns a medium investment rating, balancing retired case supply and professional ownership against its accessible price level. Its main risk is uncertain future demand, while remaining case openings and trade-up contracts can still produce additional copies. This is an editorial assessment, not a prediction of returns.
