Manage Hell And Cleanse The Humus of Sins

Team17 Digital and Piraknights Games have teamed up to release Sintopia, a game where players get to manage hell and deal with waves of Hell-bound sentients from the Overworld, called Humus. While the final version of the game doesn’t have an official release date, an alpha demo version is now available.
Sintopia mixes elements of being a god-sim and a builder but with an asymmetrical loop. Above Sintopia is the home of the sinful Humus people and they need to be scrubbed of their sins before they can move on to the next stage in the cycle of life.
“Being the administrator of Hell comes with many perks. Some of these include the ability to wield administrative magic to influence the world above you,” the companies said in a joint press release.

Cut Through The Red Tape
Apparently, Hell is full of bureaucratic red tape, but seeing as players will assume the role of the administrator, they will find that there are plenty of ways to cut through it to speed up the processes down below.
Hell needs various buildings to absolve the Humus from Sin and to earn Purga Dollars. Re-investing currency into re-educating the Hell-dwellers so they don’t build up more Sin across many lives is crucial.

The alternative is that the Overworld is overloaded with Sin which will inevitably lead to a demonic invasion. Moreover, the Humus in the Overworld will every now and then have a leader that will add to the administrative problems of Hell. Luckily, players will have access to a few methods of divine intervention to take them out.
