Talon Knife | Scorched

★ Talon Knife | Scorched is a CS2 knife skin with a curved blade and a mottled, spray-painted finish. Charcoal, gray and muted beige patches contrast with a bright silver cutting edge. Its subdued palette suits players who prefer irregular texture over colorful artwork. Buyers can choose from all exterior grades and compare standard or StatTrak™ versions.

Description

★ Talon Knife | Scorched applies a muted, patchy finish to the Talon Knife in CS2. The curved blade and large finger ring give the weapon a distinctive silhouette beneath the paint. Its charcoal and beige coloring keeps the appearance restrained, while the silver edge provides a clear contrast. Scorched uses a Spray-Paint finish rather than detailed illustrations or lettering. The underlying knife design includes an ivory handle, brass rivets and saw-tooth ridges near the blade's base. This combination suits players who want a textured knife without a bright color scheme dominating their loadout. Standard copies and StatTrak versions offer different ownership options without changing the finish's basic visual identity. Buyers can compare each listing's exterior, float value and version, then inspect the blade and handle before choosing a copy.

History and Origin

★ Talon Knife | Scorched made its debut on August 1, 2018. Its release accompanied the Horizon Case in the Horizon Case Skins update. Valve created the skin, rather than a community designer. Today, its case-opening routes include both the original Horizon Case and the Danger Zone Case. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. As of October 9, 2026, neither source case drops, so new case drops no longer replenish their inventories. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened, keeping that acquisition route available. Direct purchases and player-to-player trades offer alternatives for obtaining an existing knife without relying on a case result.

Finish Style

The Spray-Paint finish combines charcoal black, gray and muted beige across the curved blade. Irregular patches create a dappled appearance, with cloudy transitions rather than sharply outlined shapes. A bright silver strip follows the cutting edge and stands apart from the darker blade face. Three round holes and short teeth remain visible along the upper edge near the handle. Similar mottled patches extend onto the handle, carrying the finish beyond the blade itself. Circular fasteners and curved seam lines add visible structural details within that cloudy surface. The large finger ring has a pale metallic rim that provides another light accent against the darker paint. With no text or detailed artwork, the design relies on its patchwork texture, restrained colors and exposed metallic details.

Float Value

The float value of ★ Talon Knife | Scorched ranges from 0.06 to 0.80. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, so none of these condition categories is excluded. StatTrak versions are available; version availability is separate from a copy's exterior and cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

★ Talon Knife | Scorched has the Covert rarity grade. Its stated chance from the Horizon Case is 0.0049%, which should not be treated as a confirmed probability for the Danger Zone Case. Professional player flamie has owned the skin, although that ownership alone does not establish broad market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Muted charcoal and beige suit restrained loadouts

• Silver cutting edge contrasts with the mottled blade

• Curved blade and finger ring create a distinctive silhouette

• Standard and StatTrak versions offer different ownership options

Price Range

The live CS2 skin price range for ★ Talon Knife | Scorched is $181.12 to $969.39. These bounds cover the whole item, rather than fixed prices for a particular exterior or version. Compare Factory New through Battle-Scarred listings by their actual float values, not just the condition label. Standard and StatTrak versions are separate options, so check the version before comparing asking prices. When looking to buy or sell, inspect individual listings and the pictured blade and handle alongside the price.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

The knife can be obtained by opening either a Horizon Case or a Danger Zone Case. Both are retired from drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened. The stated Horizon Case chance is 0.0049%, so opening a case does not secure this particular finish.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy a listed copy on the Steam Community Market to choose the knife directly instead of relying on a case result. Check its exterior, exact float value and whether it is a standard or StatTrak version before selecting a listing.

4. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trades provide another way to obtain an existing Scorched knife in exchange for other items. Compare the offered copy's float, exterior and version with the knife being sought, rather than treating every copy as interchangeable.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Both source cases are retired from drops, while remaining cases can still generate additional copies of the knife. Existing listings cover multiple exteriors and StatTrak options, but neither those listings nor professional ownership establishes a sustained demand trend. Buyers looking to buy, sell or trade should compare matching versions and individual float values before using an asking price as a benchmark.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Neither source case receives new drops

• Documented ownership by professional player flamie

• Distinctive curved blade with a restrained Scorched finish

• Standard and StatTrak versions provide separate buying options

The investment rating is medium-to-good, supported by retired source cases and documented professional ownership. That supply context supports a holding argument, not a reliable forecast of price growth. Existing cases can still produce more knives, and the available market evidence does not establish sustained demand or a price trend.
