Admit it! You played Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout all weekend long… How else would you explain the most recent numbers? This weird battle royale game by Mediatonic, in which you have to run through various quirky levels to avoid being eliminated, showed far better numbers than the likes of Grand Theft Auto 5, Destiny 2, Horizon Zero Dawn or any other paid game on the Steam platform for that matter. Fall Guys managed to sell almost 1.5 million copies in the first 24 hours and boasted over 120 000 concurrent players all weekend long.

However, it’s worth mentioning that this is just a start and only the numbers provided by Steam. Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is also released on PlayStation 4 and currently is free for all PlayStation Plus subscribers. If you wish to try the game, be sure to renew your PS Plus subscription.

Another thing worth mentioning is Twitch. Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout was watched by more players than Fortnite, Call of Duty: Warzone, and CS:GO combined. The only game that had more viewers over the weekend was League of Legends. Riot Games hosted the last day of its local league competitions (LCS and LEC).

So yeah… Apparently, we have a new trend and it shows no signs of stopping. The game’s Twitter is sharing random tweets and flooding the platform with random things such as Seesaw Spaghetti (it was at the third spot in Trending in the US this weekend).

It’s been a huge launch for Fall Guys, but this is only the beginning. The developers confirmed that they have plans to bring Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout to Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Google Stadia, and even mobile platforms at a later date. While we have no dates, we can expect the game to be released on other platforms at the end of this month. We will let you know as soon as we have something to share. For now, be sure to check out our deals for the game. We also have a Fall Guys guide to help you get started.
