How do I report illegal content?

To maintain a secure and trustworthy marketplace, Eneba employs a combination of proactive moderation, automated screening tools, and community reporting. We encourage our community to report content that violates our rules.

Note: You must be logged into your Eneba account to submit a report using the on-site methods below.

What You Should Report

This list gives examples of content that goes against Eneba’s rules and should be reported. This list is not exhaustive - always refer to our official Terms and Conditions for complete details.

  1. Report a Listing (Physical or Digital) - if you find inappropriate, misleading, or illegal content within a specific product listing;

  2. Report a User/Profile - if you notice suspicious or inappropriate activity related to a specific seller or user account (e.g. multi-accounting);

  3. Report Other Illegal Content - if you find any other serious illegal activities, especially if it doesn't fit the Listing or Profile categories (or if you are a rights-holder).

What Happens After You Report?

Once you submit a report, our dedicated moderation team will follow a process similar to the one below:

  1. Acknowledgement: You will receive a notification in your email confirming that we have received your report.

  2. Investigation: Our team will thoroughly investigate the issue based on the evidence you provided, alongside our own data. We may contact you if additional details are required.

  3. Action Taken:

    1. If a violation is confirmed, we will take appropriate action, which may include removing the listing, issuing a formal warning, or banning the respective account.

    2. If no violation is found, we will determine that no action is necessary.

  4. Decision: We will inform you of the official moderation decision in your email, including details on how to submit an appeal if applicable.

Appealing a Moderation Decision

You can appeal a moderation decision by using the link provided in the official moderation notice you receive. When submitting your appeal, you must clearly explain why you believe the decision was incorrect and provide any supporting evidence you have. Please note that you can only appeal a decision once, and you must do so within 6 months of receiving the moderation decision notice.
