Sticker | Work For Ammo

Work For Ammo is a standalone CS2 sticker with a flat Paper finish. Its pink cartoon hippo holds a pale cream sign reading "Will work for ammo," framed by a thick white outline. It suits players seeking affordable, playful artwork rather than team or player branding.

Description

Work For Ammo is a High Grade Paper sticker built around a cartoon hippo rather than a team or player emblem. The character has blue eyes, a broad snout, small white teeth, and rounded hands and feet. Its pale cream sign carries the message "Will work for ammo" in uneven, dark gray lettering. Soft shading, lightly speckled artwork, and a thick white outline give the design a printed illustration style. Players can apply it to any weapon skin. Scraping gradually makes the sticker look more worn, while enough scraping permanently removes it from the weapon. The humorous message suits players who prefer character-based customization.

History and Origin

Work For Ammo was released on December 10, 2014. It arrived with the "Holiday 2014 Stickers" update. Skunk, a Steam Workshop community designer, created the sticker. The design was introduced as a standalone creation rather than a team or player sticker. It had no capsule association.

Rarity and Popularity

Work For Ammo has High Grade rarity, the most common tier on the sticker ladder below Remarkable, Exotic, and Extraordinary. Its standard Paper film puts the focus on printed artwork rather than an added reflective effect. The pink hippo and ammo-themed humor provide its main appeal for players and collectors.

Why it’s Popular:

• Pink cartoon hippo with an ammo-themed message

• Thick white outline frames the character and sign

• Affordable option for playful weapon customization

• Standalone artwork without team or player branding

Film

The Paper film gives Work For Ammo a flat, printed appearance in game. It is the standard plain paper finish, with no added reflective or textured layer. The soft shading and lightly speckled details belong to the printed artwork rather than a raised surface. Its white outline frames the pink hippo and pale cream sign without relying on shine.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Work For Ammo is an affordable Paper sticker widely available across several marketplaces. Its common High Grade rarity provides little scarcity support, making the cartoon design more relevant to its appeal than exclusivity.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Distinctive pink hippo artwork

• Ammo-themed humor suits weapon customization

• Steam Workshop design by Skunk

• Affordable entry point for sticker collectors

Work For Ammo is a medium-to-poor investment and trading option: its low cost favors casual collecting over scarcity-focused buying. The playful Paper design offers customization appeal, but widespread availability and common High Grade rarity weaken the case for price appreciation.
