Sticker | Salamanders

Salamanders is a High Grade CS2 sticker with a Paper finish from the Warhammer 40,000 Adeptus Astartes Sticker Capsule. Its pale reptilian head features an open, jagged-toothed mouth and long spines against a patterned blue-gray background. This standalone design suits collectors and players who prefer creature artwork without team or player branding.

Description

Salamanders is a standalone Paper sticker created by Valve, with no team or player affiliation. The pale white reptilian head faces left, with pointed spines extending right and cutouts defining its eye, teeth, and jaw. A light blue-gray square filled with fine repeating triangles frames the head without visible lettering. The sticker can be applied to any weapon skin for a creature-themed accent. Scraping progressively wears the design, and enough scraping permanently removes it from the weapon. Its restrained colors and sharp silhouette suit players who favor graphic artwork over text-heavy decoration.

History and Origin

Salamanders was released on May 22, 2025. It arrived with the "Austin 2025 Stickers" update. Its release capsule was the Warhammer 40,000 Adeptus Astartes Sticker Capsule. Valve created the design rather than a community designer. It debuted as a standalone sticker without a team or player affiliation.

Rarity and Popularity

High Grade is the most common sticker grade, followed by Remarkable, Exotic, and Extraordinary. Salamanders has a 5.56% drop chance from the Warhammer 40,000 Adeptus Astartes Sticker Capsule, or about 1 in 18 drops. Its reptilian artwork and capsule connection provide collecting appeal rather than exceptional scarcity.

Why it’s Popular:

• Pale reptilian head with jagged teeth and extended spines

• Blue-gray geometric background without lettering

• Flat Paper finish for understated weapon customization

• Affordable standalone design without team or player ties

Film

Paper gives this sticker a flat printed appearance without a reflective or textured layer. It uses the standard paper look, with no rainbow shift or glitter effect. On this design, the pale head and patterned blue-gray background emphasize silhouette and contrast rather than changing color.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Salamanders is an affordable Paper sticker widely available across several marketplaces. Its High Grade rarity and broad supply make it better suited to inexpensive collecting than scarcity-driven trading.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Distinctive reptilian artwork

• Connection to the Warhammer 40,000 Adeptus Astartes Sticker Capsule

• Affordable entry point for collectors

• Valve-created standalone design

Salamanders is a medium-to-poor investment and trading option, better suited to affordable collecting than scarcity-focused speculation. Its artwork provides visual appeal, but the Paper film, High Grade rarity, and wide availability offer little scarcity support. Resale value remains vulnerable to changes in demand for the design.
