Sticker | Howling Dawn

Howling Dawn is a standalone CS2 sticker with a standard Paper finish and Contraband rarity. Its artwork shows a snarling, left-facing animal head in orange and red against a dark circular background. It suits players seeking fiery weapon decorations and collectors interested in Valve-created designs.

Description

Howling Dawn is a standalone CS2 sticker with a flat Paper film and Contraband rarity. The artwork depicts a dragon-like animal head facing left, with open jaws and pointed teeth. Cream and yellow accents highlight the eye, teeth, and flame-like strands trailing to the right. Orange and red fill the head over a dark red circle with diagonal slashes and a broken charcoal-gray rim. The sticker can be applied to any weapon skin. Scraping gradually wears the print, and enough scraping permanently removes it. It suits players building warm-colored weapon designs and collectors drawn to standalone artwork without team or player branding.

History and Origin

Howling Dawn was released on May 1, 2014. It arrived with the "Huntsman Case Skins" update. Valve created the artwork rather than a community designer. The sticker was a standalone design without a team or player association. It was not included in a capsule.

Rarity and Popularity

Its Contraband grade sits outside the usual sticker ladder of High Grade, Remarkable, Exotic, and Extraordinary. That special classification is separate from its standard Paper finish. The unusual grade and fiery animal-head artwork give collectors reasons to seek it out.

Why it’s Popular:

• Contraband grade outside the usual sticker ladder

• Valve-created standalone artwork

• Orange and red head with cream and yellow highlights

• Distinctive silhouette without team or player branding

Film

The Paper film gives the artwork a flat, printed appearance in game. It is a plain paper finish, with no added reflective or textured layer. On this design, the orange and red head and pale highlights stand out against the dark circular background.

Price Range

The live price range for Howling Dawn is — to —. Prices vary between marketplaces and change over time. Its Contraband grade, Paper finish, and demand for the design influence its price. The condition of an applied copy also matters, since scraping wears the artwork. Applied copies remain attached to their weapon skins and cannot be sold as loose stickers.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Howling Dawn can be bought on the Steam Community Market. A loose copy can then be applied to any weapon skin.

3. Trade with Other Players

Players can obtain Howling Dawn through a trade with another player. Receiving a loose copy leaves the choice of weapon skin open until application.

4. Buy a Pre-Applied Skin

Buying a weapon skin with Howling Dawn already applied provides the artwork on that specific skin. The sticker cannot be detached and resold on its own. Scraping it off destroys it permanently.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Howling Dawn is a premium-priced Paper sticker with Contraband rarity and broad availability across several marketplaces. Its special grade and distinctive artwork offer collector appeal, but the high entry cost and competing listings warrant careful price comparison.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Special Contraband classification

• Artwork created by Valve

• Distinctive fiery animal-head design

Howling Dawn is a medium-to-poor investment and trading option: its premium entry cost sits alongside broad marketplace availability. The Contraband grade provides a collector draw, but competing supply is a risk for buyers paying a high premium.
