Sticker | Hostage Rescue

Hostage Rescue is a standalone CS2 sticker with a standard Paper finish and a hostage-rescue theme. A brown eagle grips gray handcuffs beneath orange lettering on a dark purple shield-shaped panel. It suits players seeking affordable weapon decoration and collectors who prefer designs without team or player branding.

Description

Hostage Rescue is a standalone CS2 sticker with a flat printed Paper finish. Its central artwork shows a brown eagle spreading its wings while gripping gray handcuffs. Bold orange lettering spells out "HOSTAGE RESCUE" above the eagle on a dark purple shield-shaped panel. Orange and red accents surround the bird, while a thin white outline traces the jagged silhouette. The design centers on hostage rescue rather than commemorating a team or player. It can be applied to any weapon skin, then scraped for progressive wear or permanent removal. The graphic suits players who want a clearly outlined emblem without a reflective finish.

History and Origin

Hostage Rescue was released on February 12, 2015. It arrived with the "Music Kits & Stickers" update. The artwork came from The Honey Badger, a Steam Workshop community designer. The sticker was introduced as a standalone design rather than a team or player item. It has no capsule association.

Rarity and Popularity

Hostage Rescue carries the High Grade rarity, the most common grade on the sticker ladder. Its standard Paper finish and broad marketplace availability make it an accessible collecting choice. The eagle and handcuff artwork gives collectors a design-focused reason to choose it rather than scarcity.

Why it’s Popular:

• Brown eagle and gray handcuffs create a recognizable central motif

• Orange lettering stands out against the dark purple shield

• Flat Paper finish suits straightforward weapon decoration

• Affordable pricing makes collecting accessible

Film

The Paper film gives Hostage Rescue a flat, printed appearance in game. This is the standard paper treatment, with no reflective or textured layer. The eagle, orange lettering, and purple shield appear without holographic shifts, glitter, or metallic shine.

Price Range

The live price range for Hostage Rescue is — to —. Prices differ between marketplaces and can change over time. Its standard Paper finish and High Grade rarity are key price factors. Scraping wears an applied copy, and once attached to a weapon skin, the sticker cannot be sold separately.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Hostage Rescue can be purchased through the Steam Community Market. Buying a separate sticker allows it to be kept unapplied or placed on any weapon skin.

3. Trade with Other Players

Players can obtain Hostage Rescue by trading with other players. An applied copy stays with its weapon skin and cannot be sold as a separate sticker.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Hostage Rescue is an affordable Paper sticker that is widely available across several marketplaces. Its High Grade rarity makes it accessible, but broad supply weakens the case for buying it primarily for scarcity.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Distinct eagle and handcuff artwork

• Affordable entry point for collectors

• Standalone design without team or player branding

• Steam Workshop artwork by The Honey Badger

The Hostage Rescue sticker is a medium-to-poor investment and trading option: its low entry cost favors casual collecting rather than scarcity-driven purchases. Its distinctive artwork offers appeal, but widespread availability and the common High Grade rarity are the main constraints on investment potential.
