Ursus Knife | Ultraviolet

★ Ursus Knife | Ultraviolet is a CS2 knife skin with a dark faceted blade and solid purple guard and handle. The silver cutting edge and dotted grip add detail to an otherwise uncluttered design. It suits purple-accented loadouts and players who prefer solid colors over artwork. It comes in Factory New through Battle-Scarred, with regular and StatTrak™ versions.

Description

★ Ursus Knife | Ultraviolet is a Covert CS2 skin for a tanto-style survival knife. Angular blade facets give the Ursus a geometric profile that remains visible beneath its dark finish. Its underlying weapon design includes a full tang and an impact pommel, complementing the straightforward styling. Ultraviolet uses solid-color spray painting, with black blade surfaces and purple handle components establishing its identity. Without visible lettering or artwork, the look keeps attention on the blade shape and textured grip. This restrained design suits players seeking a purple-accented knife without a busy illustration. Buyers have regular and StatTrak™ versions to consider across the supported exterior range. When choosing a play skin or trading candidate, appearance preferences should be considered alongside float value, exterior and version.

History and Origin

Valve introduced the finish on March 13, 2019, alongside the Prisma Case. It arrived through the Prisma Case Skins update, establishing that case as its original release route. The design was created by Valve rather than a community artist. The Prisma 2 Case is another case from which this finish can be obtained today. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. As of October 9, 2026, neither the Prisma Case nor the Prisma 2 Case receives new drops. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened, so retirement has not removed the case-opening route. Direct marketplace purchases and player trades also offer ways to obtain an existing knife without opening a case.

Finish Style

Ultraviolet uses the Solid Color finish style, with separate parts painted in a black-and-purple palette. The blade appears black and dark gray, while its angular faces create distinct areas of shading. A bright silver cutting edge outlines the blade, contrasting with the dark surfaces above it. Small serrations occupy a short section of the edge close to the handle. The guard and handle are solid purple, making the grip the finish's strongest color accent. Raised dots cover most of the handle, adding visible texture without turning it into an illustrated pattern. A small dark fitting at the handle's end provides a restrained contrast to the purple. No visible artwork or lettering interrupts the simple layout, leaving color separation and the faceted blade as the main visual features.

Float Value

The float value ranges from 0.06 to 0.80. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. Regular and StatTrak™ versions are available, but no Souvenir version exists; the counter option is separate from the knife's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

★ Ursus Knife | Ultraviolet has the Covert rarity grade. Its drop chance from the Prisma Case is 0.0091%. Ownership includes professional players NiKo and yay, although their ownership does not establish wider market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Purple guard and handle contrast clearly with the dark blade

• Uncluttered styling keeps attention on the knife's angular shape

• Textured grip and silver cutting edge add restrained detail

• Regular and StatTrak™ versions offer different ownership options

Price Range

The live price range for ★ Ursus Knife | Ultraviolet is $67.86 to $820.00. Exterior and exact float should be checked together rather than treating every copy within a wear tier as interchangeable. Factory New copies occupy a higher price level in the market comparison, while more worn exteriors offer lower-priced entry points. StatTrak™ availability adds another choice, but the version label should not replace a check of the individual listing price. For a buy, sell or trade decision, comparing matching exteriors and versions makes the CS2 skin price easier to evaluate.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

Opening a Prisma Case or Prisma 2 Case offers a chance to obtain this knife. Neither case receives new drops, but existing cases can still be purchased on the market and opened. A case opening offers a possible result rather than a way to select the Ultraviolet finish directly.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The Steam Community Market provides a direct purchase route for this knife, avoiding the uncertainty of a case opening. Buyers should verify the exterior, float value and StatTrak™ status before deciding whether a listing matches the version they want.

4. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trades provide another way to obtain an existing copy of the knife. Both sides should verify the item name, exterior, float and StatTrak™ status before agreeing on the exchange.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Both source cases no longer receive new drops, limiting replenishment of unopened case supply while existing cases can still produce additional knives. Ownership by NiKo and yay is relevant, but it does not establish trading volume or future demand. Demand and price trends remain uncertain, so practical comparisons should focus on matching exterior, float and regular or StatTrak™ versions.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired source cases receive no new drops

• Ownership includes NiKo and yay

• Distinctive purple-and-black solid-color styling

• Factory New and StatTrak™ options broaden buyer choice

The editorial investment rating is medium, supported by retired source cases, distinctive styling and ownership by NiKo and yay. Those factors support considering it as a hold, but they do not demonstrate rising demand or consistent resale speed. The main risk is uncertain resale demand while existing cases can still add supply through openings.
