Short Description

★ Ursus Knife | Scorched is a Covert CS2 knife skin with a subdued, spray-painted finish. Dark gray, pale gray and muted beige patches cover its faceted blade and textured handle. The look suits players who prefer understated equipment over bright colors. All exterior grades are available, with standard and StatTrak™ versions to compare.

Description

★ Ursus Knife | Scorched applies a Spray-Paint finish to the Ursus Knife in CS2. Its tanto-style survival blade has a faceted shape and full-tang construction. An impact pommel completes the knife's practical silhouette, which has no moving parts. Irregular patches break up the blade surface rather than forming a regular geometric motif. A narrow silver cutting edge provides a bright accent against the darker blade. The handle's raised-dot texture adds detail without introducing a vivid secondary color. This restrained palette suits loadouts built around charcoal, gray or muted earth tones. Buyers can compare exterior, float value and standard or StatTrak versions while keeping the same underlying knife design.

History and Origin

Valve introduced ★ Ursus Knife | Scorched on August 1, 2018. It arrived with the Horizon Case through the Horizon Case Skins update. Valve created the finish rather than a community designer. The Danger Zone Case is another case that can produce this knife, giving it an additional acquisition route. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. As of October 9, 2026, neither the Horizon Case nor the Danger Zone Case drops. That retirement affects new case supply, but existing cases can still be purchased and opened. Current buyers can also obtain an existing skin through the Steam Community Market or a player-to-player trade.

Finish Style

Scorched uses a Spray-Paint finish with irregular patches that resemble light filtering across a surface. Dark gray covers much of the blade, interrupted by pale gray and muted beige areas. The broad bevel appears lighter than the central blade surface, emphasizing its faceted shape. A thin, bright silver line follows the cutting edge and separates it visually from the painted areas. The dark gray guard has bright highlights along its curved edges. Charcoal and beige mottling continues onto the handle, where closely packed raised dots create a busier texture. A dark end cap and a visible hole near the handle's base provide additional details. Broad patches on the blade contrast with the dense handle texture, keeping the overall appearance subdued but varied.

Float Value

The float value of ★ Ursus Knife | Scorched ranges from 0.06 to 0.80. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, with no exterior grade excluded. Standard and StatTrak versions are available, but there is no Souvenir version; version choice remains separate from cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

★ Ursus Knife | Scorched belongs to the Covert rarity grade. Its drop chance from the Horizon Case is 0.0049%, making an opening an uncertain route to this particular finish. Existing copies can also be bought or traded directly, allowing buyers to select a knife without relying on an opening result.

Why it’s Popular:

• Muted gray and beige colors suit understated loadouts

• Faceted blade contrasts with the densely textured handle

• All exterior grades provide options for different preferences

• StatTrak availability adds an alternative to the standard version

Price Range

The live ★ Ursus Knife | Scorched CS2 skin price ranges from $50.57 to $3,000.00. These bounds cover the whole item, including its available exteriors and versions. Compare individual listings by float value and exterior rather than treating the condition label as a complete price guide. Standard and StatTrak copies should be distinguished when assessing offers. Listing images also help buyers judge whether the visible blade and handle appearance matches their preferences.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

Open a Horizon Case or Danger Zone Case for a chance to obtain ★ Ursus Knife | Scorched. Neither case drops anymore, but existing cases can still be bought and opened. An opening does not guarantee this knife, so purchasing an existing copy avoids the uncertainty of the result.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy ★ Ursus Knife | Scorched on the Steam Community Market by selecting an available listing. Check the exterior and whether the copy is standard or StatTrak, then inspect its float and appearance before choosing.

4. Trade with Other Players

Obtain ★ Ursus Knife | Scorched through a trade with another player who owns a copy. Verify the exact item, exterior, float and version before accepting, especially when comparing several offers.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Both source cases receive no new drops, although opening existing cases can still add Scorched knives to circulation. Traders can compare standard and StatTrak versions across all available exteriors when deciding what to buy, sell or trade. Retired case sources alone do not establish rising demand or predictable resale prices.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired source cases receive no new drops

• Valve-created finish with a distinctive muted palette

• Standard and StatTrak versions offer collecting options

• Faceted blade and textured handle provide visual character

★ Ursus Knife | Scorched receives a medium investment rating because its retired case sources limit fresh case supply, while demand remains uncertain. Existing cases can still produce additional knives, and uncertain resale demand is the main risk rather than any assured opportunity for returns.
